I try to avoid outlet malls on the weekends, but I was coming home from St. Pete and I couldn't help myself. It was crowded but the dressing rooms opened quickly and the register was fast. There were some great deals here too. I was able to get a cut little tennis skirt that usually sells for $128 for only $39 and a few shirts for my son and husband that are normally $79 for only $29. I love the quality of their clothes and they seem to last and hold up with all the washing. Anytime I can snag a bargain it's a win win and the extra bonus here is you get the cute Lulu bag with your purchase.

My beloved Asics volleyball sneaker is wearing out after 4+ years. It is time to buy a new pair! When I spotted Academy Sports + Outdoors, I walked in without doing any internet research. I headed straight to the Men's Shoes section; they have numbers of shoes available but not the Asics model like Gel-Rocket or Netburner or Upcourt I preferred. The sale associate was very friendly and called support if they carried volleyball sneakers. Unfortunately, No. Oh well, may be I can go to Asics or use Internet! While I was there, I quickly checked their BBQ, Gun, Basketballs, Pickleball, shoes, apparels and other sections. The price is reasonable. They looked fine but I wanted my volleyball sneaker! During my visit, two associates helped me and I feel very comfortable browsing in the store!

My name and number were taken and I was told Michael would call me back the next day when he got in to work, no one ever called. I called back later in the day and the same young man that had taken my information the day before remembered me and said Michael was with a customer but he would have him call me as soon as he finished, no one ever called.

I studied their return policy and paid for the ReDo returns just in case. Well, I missed that anything 35% off or more is exchange only. My items were 30% off, but I had a new customer extra off coupon that I didn't realize would exclude me - it did. The items arrived, and despite using the size guide, they are easily 2 sizes too small. I accepted my mistake about returns and ordered two different skirts to try via an exchange. It took a week to hear back after my returned items reached them. I did email to request a status update, but they said they did not receive my email. After leaving a Yelp review, the new items have now shipped. I am hopeful these work, but if they do not, I plan on just getting a dress for myself and will give up on getting a skirt to work for my daughter. If necessary, I will update the review with how that exchange goes. Some customers seem to love their skirts. I wasn't overly impressed with the quality, but hopeful they work because she needs them for high school season. I saw in other reviews that they run small, and the new sizing runs smaller than previous sizing. If you are a first-time customer, I would caution you to make sure you triple-check the return/exchange eligibility and pay for the ReDo service. Accept that it's a smaller company and customer service will be slow. Oh, and size up.

However, Dona Jo has changed sizing since I last ordered from them a few years ago. I love the skirt that I have from a few years back. This one received today is just ok. The fabric is not near as nice and as reviewers have said, the new sizing runs VERY small! For reference, I'm 5'3" with a muscular build and weigh 130 lbs. I wear a size 4 in Lululemon and The Dona Jo size small JUST fits and could not be any smaller or it would be too tight. I do love their colors/prints; I just wish they would go back to the softer, more giving fabric that they had before.

When I called in to customer service, I got someone off shore with heavy accent and asked for a representative in US but was told there were none!
