My very first appointment she was dismissive of my concerns, outright refused to refer me to…read moretesting because she had never heard of the medical condition I was coming in with (paradoxical adipose hyperplasia-look it up!). She looked at me skeptically and said she'd never heard of it before and it was "probably a legal term" so I should speak with a lawyer. Never before have I felt embarrassed FOR a provider... uh, I dunno, Cathy. Google it? Lol Rude, judgmental, unprofessional. She left notes on my patient summary that had nothing to do with my actual visit because at some point I was done being treated like a crazy person and I walked out of her office. So you can add petty to the list of qualities. She said she was going to add a prescription for my acid reflux, but when I read the patient summary, she said that she had referred me to a gastroenterologist so I couldn't get the prescription we talked about. Overall jarring and bizarre experience. I will say, every patient in her waiting room was well over 80 years old, so if you are that age (you probably aren't using yelp to find a doctor, but) she will likely be a good fit for you. However, if you are not in that demographic, my advice would be to steer clear. The front staff and nurses were sweet and wonderful to interact with. This woman does not deserve the angels that work under her. I feel sorry for them, and every patient who has had a similar experience going to see her. Finding a new PCP is hard enough without bozos like this lady trying to make you feel like you're crazy because you don't fit neatly inside of the narrow education she received way back in the 70s or 80s. You can tell she does not keep her education current. She finished medical school and thought she was done learning. BEWARE.

Right away, Dr. Lizotte demonstrated that his number one concern is patient care. He wasn't interested in getting me out the door quickly or putting me through an unending regime and pushing me to buy a number of supplements. Instead, we could tell in the first few minutes that he's different from the rest--he's knowledgeable, has tons of experience, and does whatever it takes to get a correct diagnosis and treatment. For instance, it turned out that I needed a specialist, and he referred me to a doctor outside of his own medical group who he felt would be more competent to handle my case. Dr. Lizotte is authentic, smart, and just really good. We cannot recommend him more!

He made it easy, asked the right questions, and had the right tests ordered and referrals made, and we made a sort of long term plan. I'm hopeful that maybe he can actually help me to figure out some different health issues, and work with my pain management doctor to create a care plan that will hopefully give me a little bit better quality of life, because it's been really rough for a long time... I just kind of started to give up on doctors and medicine. Personnel make every effort to be both punctual and pleasant. Recently I had a CT scan. Jessica , the lab professional who did the procedure, like many of her colleagues at this location, made the entire experience comfortable and easy. I actually enjoyed this experience . .
