Dr. Falconio called me on her day off to check on how I was doing with Covid. She is very nice, caring and goes the extra mile for her patients that she refers to as family. The staff is nice, approachable an usually moves things along quite quickly. The refill phone line takes at least 24-48 hours which is fine if you know in advance. Dr. Falconio has dogs in her office that come up to you for love and treats. She has beautiful Rosaries that she displays proudly, as her patients have gifted them to her to thank her for her quality care. The 3 month wait to get in was worth it! I love that she doesn't take HMO because she wants to choose where to send her patients as each one of us has unique health challenges. Dr Falconio has been my doctor for over 30 years. I make my regular appointments well in advance as I know if something unexpected comes up I will See the PA Johanna Morofsky who is excellent. I love that there is an online portal where I can ask questions about tests that are always communicated via the portal. Who gets an email at 2:30 AM? I do. I feel I am cared for by this office. I get regular calls just to ask if everything is ok. I have never had any problems with this practice so I have shocked to read negative reviews....except from people who don't love dogs. This is not the only place where I have encountered canines. My physical therapist also has her dog present..so..if allergic or a dog disliker this practice is not for you. read more

Don't worry about insurance because they never submit proper claims and end up overcharging you for visits anyway! This office is absolutely horrific! I mean, horrific!! They over, medicate they under medicate. I had broken my ribs in the office manager Rhonda when I was trying to get an appointment kept actually hanging up on me and then when they see my number call him dude pick up the phone and just set it down and you're probably thinking wow what would I have done to make them do that? Absolutely nothing I had broken ribs. I asked to see my doctor. They wanted me to see another doctor that works there. I said no I'd like to see my doctor. They turned to Satan for some reason from that point on, and that was in December. I have yet to be able to see my doctor cents and I pay 970 some dollars a month for my medical insurance. Then they give me an appointment for April 18. I waited five months for this appointment I go to my go to go to my appointment Rhonda the office manager canceled my appointment and said my doctor wasn't going to see me anymore. She had lied about that information. My doctor was going to see me so they rescheduled me to an appointment (now mind you I've waited five months for this appointment). so Rhonda scheduled me for an appointment on Monday, April 24 with my work called me in that day so I had to report to work. I called Dr. Falconio's office. Let them know that appointment was not gonna work for me and that was on the 24th. I called them today to reschedule an appointment and that is when Rhonda and soon Lee wouldn't except my phone calls again they started hanging up and they would not book me an appointment so I kept calling back, and when I would call back, they would yell into the phone stop yelling at me stop acting like I was yelling at them so then the doctor now will no longer see me and if I could tell you they fabricated 100% of that story also I wanted and need is a doctors appointment and my refills for my blood pressure medication. This is what I'm dealing with in California at $975 a month towards my Blue Shield medical insurance. Wow!! In the meantime, I am looking for a new medical doctor since this office will no longer except my phone calls or see me if anyone knows how I could report this, so no one else has to deal with this. I have been coming to Dr. Falconio and Johana for a while now. They have always taken care of me and my needs. The doc is very laid back and easy to talk to. When you walk in you are greeted by Big Larry. He has always been cool and gets you started on your visit. This particular visit did take a little bit longer but that's because they just switched over to a new computer system. No worries here as my wife works in the industry and I run a business that had similar issues, so I get it. That did not take away from their attention to you and the care you receive. read more

On May 28, 2023, I filed a complaint against the office of Dr. Falconia staff for their rude behavior, lies, and discrimination. The complaint was filed with my insurance company and the Tri-City IPA. When the insurance company contacted the office of Dr. Falconia the office staff lied about the events that took place. I never went back to that office and the office never reimbursed me for my co-pay. Today I got a call at 5:00 pm from Dr. Falconia's office notifying me that I have a BALANCE in that office that I need to pay. For what I was never ever seen at that office in the first place THEY DENIED ME MEDICAL CARE. I have faithfully paid my $950.00 portion of my insurance per month and my former employer pays the rest. I have used ZERO of my insured benefits and this office has the guts to call me asking me for money. I have patiently waited for open enrollment and now I am out of the Tri City IPA and never again thanks to rude and unprofessional offices like Dr. Falconia's office staff. read more

If I could have put zero stars, would have- the worst doctor's office I have ever been to. The people up front (receptionist, etc.) are incredibly rude; seems like they're upset with you for even being there. The office in general sucks; they don't fill prescriptions on time, they're always late (even for a doctor), they often misdiagnose, they talk down to you the whole time, when you urgently need to speak with a doctor/nurse/anybody, they won't come to the phone....I could go on for a while, but the worst part is this- they just don't care about their patients. It's about money for them. That's why they're such assholes. I've seen a lot of doctors, but her and her office are the worst. Highly unprofessional... I went to this office and was told my PCP left so I had to switch to her. The fact that her dog walked into the exam room with her, plopped down on the floor and she looked down at my chart for 2-3 minutes without even greeting me set me off. I love dogs but exam rooms are the last place they should be. I continuously received phone calls for up to a year asking me to buy into a preventative program that would cost me over $1000 paid straight to her. I'm extremely healthy.. Why would I pay a doctor personally money in advance for preventative care. The whole thing is very hoxy.. I question the legal environment at this clinic. I left going to the practice awhile ago but found it completely disgusting to see pictures of her signing the exam room as her profile picture on yelp. Make sure you don't agree to a virtual appointment, I called the office since I never received a call for my appointment and had to speak to a so called Zu'e. She is extremely unethical and obviously hates her job. After her raising her voice at me for asking the spelling of her name she puts me on hold and send me off to her supervisor Larry. It's obvious Im feeling horrible, you can hear it in my voice (sore throat) and still Zu'e hates her job so much she continues to ignore me, the best thing she did was get me over to Larry. Please if you need any help from the office just ask for Larry. Hopefully Zu'e understands being a nurse at a doctors office come with helping people in need. I am new to the area and had to find a new PCP. Having visited the office twice now my first impressions are summarized by: a). Last I checked this was a doctors office, not doggy day care. My first consultation appointment Dr Falconio had to get up and let her dog in the exam room because it was scratching on the door. Subsequent appointments had THREE dogs roaming around the office and exam room. WTF? A doctors office is the last place a dog should be. B) took me three tries to make an appointment. Twice I was directed (after a human answered) to a voicemail. I left my information and nobody called me back to book said appointment. C). All the religious verses on the walls of the exam room is creepy. No, I don't believe that Jesus heals all. I want an informed doctor. Summary, jury is still out. I would highly recommend Dr. Linda Falconio and the PA, Johanna Morofski at The Doctor's Office for anything that ails you. I also recommend the front staff who greets me and makes me feel like a part of their family. Dr. Falconio took more than an hour with me when I first established my care in September 2015. She even has an in-house lab to draw blood. Her staff was so helpful and comforting, and my challenging veins weren't any big deal for them. Dr. Falconio listened to every little detail I had to share about my medical history and took note of each and every one of them with her fingers typing faster than I could speak!! I took comfort in petting her beautiful Cocker Spaniel, Casper while I went down my list of ailments. I haven't had the luxury of ever having a doctor that actually listens and gives educated and caring opinions. Most doctors that I have seen don't "care" enough for the actual and complete well being of their patients. Dr. Falconio isn't like "most" doctors. She's a treasure and someone who makes you trust her as the provider of care whether it be your body, mind or soul. I have had chronic right upper abdominal pain my whole life, debilitating pain that comes with flare ups. I was having a flare up on my visit to The Doctor's Office and the PA, Johanna examined me. As I lay on the table she asked me to take a deep breath as she had her hand on the top of my abdomen. I screamed in pain. She stepped back and said, "It's your gall bladder". Within 15 minutes I had a referral in hand from Dr. Falconio's MA, Mirian to a local imaging clinic for an ultrasound. The ultrasound confirmed that I not only had countless stones, but that I had "sludge". After 40 years of horrendous pain, I had a diagnosis, and 24 hours later, I had surgery. I haven't had right upper stomach pain once since then, and I am so very thankful to Dr. Falconio and Johanna for taking such outstanding care of me. On my last visit I even got to participate in a genetic study to determine how I as an individual process medication based on my genetics. Cutting Edge medicine. Call in to their office to have an appointment, I was disconnected 3 times ,waiting 2 times, sent to a recording machine once couldnt record any message and finally talked to a guy that was extremely rude on the phone , he just want to get over talking to me very quickly. Basically we are not patients so we are treated like no one , they don't care about who you are or what you need ,they just answer phone calls . The doctor visits could be $85 to $300 , that doesn't count any exames or medications and procedures. WOW! What an amazing office and group of people that work at The Doctors Office! I have been to several different doctors offices to try and establish care here in San Diego and in New York! This HAS to be the most amazing one! As soon as I walked in the door, I felt like my needs and concerns were met ONE HUNDRED AND TEN PERCENT! I saw Johanna, the PA and she was so great! She addressed ALL of my concerns! She did not make me feel like she was trying to rush me out even with all of my questions. When I was in the room, she was attentive and professional! I found out Dr. Falconio has been running her practice for over 30 years! She has seen her patients grow up and have kids and grand kids of their own! I love Dr. Falconio! She is very thorough in her evaluation and diagnosis. She is prompt at answering concerns and has streamlined the process with a online chart so you can make appointments and check your lab results etc. Her 2 sweet pups are the icing on the cake faithfully following her from one patient to the next calmly hanging out while she works to give you excellent care. I was impressed by all of the positive reviews. Moved from West Hollywood to Carlsbad recently and was looking for a local physician. First meeting, filled out paperwork and met with Dr. Falconio. Pleasant, boiler-plate questionnaire -- no real in depth "who are you and how do you feel" moments, but since I feel good it wasn't critical. A few months later came in due to a cat bite and was concerned about infection. Didn't meet with Dr. Falconio, but rather Johanna. Ok, she was efficient, not too interested, but efficient. Out I went. My husband, also a patient had experienced the same initial meeting with the physician, then was shuttled off to Johanna for the rest of his appointments being told each time he called that the doctor was not avail, but Johanna was. I then came back with what I felt could be a UTI -- being a kidney stone-maker was used to these but know you need certain meds. Again, doctor not available, but shuttled off to Johanna. During this meeting, Johanna spoke of her additional training and her hope to take over the practice along with another professional -- not such a good thing to tell patients -- but again, I was there for counsel on my situation. Took sample, was told a few days later (when I called, as they didn't call me) that all was negative. Spoke with desk and said I still had pain. They said they'd contact Dr. Falconio and call back. Days went by, I called again. Left another message and so on for another two days. Finally, on the 4th call, was put on hold and the person came back on the line and said Johanna was busy, but since the result was negative on the urine sample I should go and see a Urologist. Um. Okay, but whom should I see? Did they have a recommendation? That was months ago. No one has ever called me back. As far as the dogs in the office? I loved that warmth and friendliness that it implies. As far as whether that extends to the doctor and her staff, not so much. Larry at the front desk, each time I or any other patient arrives, we are asked to fill out the same form. We brought to his attention the many typos on the form, which looked unprofessional. No response. I would say that the doctor may be wonderful, I wouldn't know -- have never been able to see her since the initial boiler-plate fill out forms date. Johanna is nice enough, but generally in a hurry to move onto the next person. Larry, well, he has a job to do, never seems to remember us from appointment to appointment, however seems efficient, with the exception of the many typos on the forms. As far as warmth, caring, awareness of your patients, showing concern or making time --- isn't happening at this office. Instead have moved to Dr. Robert Barron in nearby location. Warm, caring, recognizes his patients from one appointment to the next, is available and even calls back. Whoa! This is the type of service I'm used to in Los Angeles. I cannot say enough good things about this dr Office. I had to change Physicians when I moved to North County, and I was concerned because it's hard to find a good Dr., that you feel comfortable talking too, and they spend time listening and really hearing you, in my experience. Everyone that works there are so friendly, easy to talk to, and really good at what they do, from the front admin (Larry is AWESOME) to the nurse's to PA Morofski . I love this whole office and whenever I come in they all make me feel at home. I cannot recommend them highly enough!! They are always on top of their work, I never have to wait very long, and they make everything easy. I love Dr. Falconio's entire practice. I'm almost hesitant to brag about them because I want to keep this gem to myself, but after reading the review from another patient I honestly have to question if they have even been to the office.
