The BBQ sauce was prefect, not too watered down & really enhanced the meal. The beans were also good, but the overly mayonnaise drenched potato salad recipe could be improved. Also, only chicken leg quarters are offered on the menu. No chicken breast option, which is my favorite healthier choice. Still... it was a very good first dining experience! Went to Waterfront in Matagorda for lunch instead. Really nice, but not Fat Grass. Upon returning to retrieve our SUV from in front of Fat Grass, we notice that, lo and behold, they are opening for evening service. Felt like walking over and asking why their website fibbed to us, but foot hurting from recent surgery, so just traveled on to my parents house for drinks and the Kentucky Derby.... Therefore, not really a review; just a comment on the lackadaisical attitude of management I've come to expect from lesser establishments these days regarding treatment of "valued" customers...
