This place is a pleasant surprise. Stopped by here on a whim not even really hungry. And let me tell you I am glad that I did. Brisket was very well prepared and seasoned. Sausage was good. Worth the try. The bbq sauce was thicker than most with a touch of spice. Little spot. Only outdoor mostly covered seating. Service was okay could be a little quicker but I feel there was a disconnect this day. Maybe missing staff or things were out of order in the back. Nevertheless. So I saw this place posted on TikTok. I know what you're gonna say, it's TikTok. Believe me, I know lol. I drove all the way from Magnolia to come try their brisket elote and ended up leaving with $130 worth of bbq lol I would make that trip again for just the elote. The brisket was absolutely amazing from flavor to cook. The chicken quarters, you don't even have to do anything to them besides just eat it, no sauce needed. I had the breakfast croissant with brisket & eggs, my spouse had the taco with brisket & cheese on fresh tortilla, my brother had the tostada with brisket, refried beans, cheese & fried egg. The complimentary chips & salsa were very good. The fire burning stove was perfect keeping us warm. Damon's BBQ a has BBQ figured out. They offer delicious ribs and chicken, and unlike Heinz, they let you build your combo plate with either or both. The portion size of the two meat combo is great. Their meat is still moist and juicy with Smokey flavor. The pricing is a bit better than Heinz too It's a bit quirky set up, it's really a trailered pit set up next to a few temporary buildings. All the seating is outdoors on a nice porch with big blowers. The restroom is a port-a-potty and the sink is a foot pump operated style we put in temporary work sites. They do have a drive through which is nice when riding dirty back from the woods. read more

This is a new location for Damon's and I'm glad it's in my neighborhood! The brisket was tender and well smoked, and the ribs had an excellent crust and smoke ring. The meat fell off the bone but was not over cooked. The spices were just right and their homemade sauce was incredible! For the sides I had the bacon/onion potatoes which were good, but a little too soft for my tastes. The cabbage had just the right amount of bacon and was crunchy and flavorful. The employees were friendly and helpful and kept my glass filled with an excellent sweet tea. From the road this place looks small, but there are four huge picnic tables with plenty of seating and two Texas-sized fans to keep you cool. Parking is available on the side and back of the building. Definitely a place I'll be returning to and I'll be bringing my friends. read more

flew here from los angeles and told the owner that "i need you to show me REAL bbq!" and she sure as hell did! i got delicious brisket, yummy coleslaw, and decadent baked tater casserole. the best part? the owner dropped off some BURNT ENDS aka the best thing i've ever put in my mouth. she also gave us free peach cobbler that was the best dessert ever. Excellent BBQ. Ribs and brisket always moist and good. Got two favorite sides. Onion potatoes and cabbage. Cabbage loaded with bacon and butter. Can't ask for anything better. I also recommend the potato nachos. They spiral the potato and top with brisket and all the nacho fixings are layered on top. It's great street food you can walk around with.
