Looking back she didn't fix my problem. She simple gave me a colonoscopy And meds then proceeded to sell me weight loss products. And reading through the other competitive offices in GI procedures in the area, please read how bad the administration is in terms of service at the other practitioners. Dr. Sachar's office team is a 10 out of 10 in terms of returning phone calls and dealing with mundane requests over the phone. My wife was told to get anxiety medicine at a corporate practitioner with a horrible reputation in yelp. They even misplaced test results at the other practitioner. Thanks to a referral from an old friend, my wife went to see Dr. Sachar - We got both of our gastrointestinal diagnostics completed - And in a reasonable amount of time, compared to the other ones with the long wait time. And Dr. Sachar Diagnosed correctly my spouses digestive problem, prescribed the right diet without anxiety pills, and as a result, my wife lost 40 pounds and feels much better. The follow up has been magnificent post treatment. Keep in mind, if you have digestive issues and you go to an older Dr., there is a tendency for that older practitioner to have the mindset of treating everyone like an old patient. Therefore, if you are under 50 or about 50 and you want good customer service and good medical advice, I would highly recommend you schedule appointment with Dr. Sachar in Torrance. I would say if you are over 50, you can't lose having an appointment with this office either. read more

I went to Sutha Sachar office for my appointment. As soon as I entered the office I thought I had entered a spa rather than a Doctors office. I was asked to complete a 10 page worth of forms 4 related to the patient information and the 6 other pages for legal cover up for her interest. I felt you need to bring a legal adviser with you to protect yourself. I found it weird then I looked around at first I couldn't understand if this was a Dr's office, a spa, or a weight loss clinic. They also seemed to sell vitamins and other things. I would not be surprised if they also sold watermelon juice for extra money at this place. They gave me very bad vibes from the beginning I have Medicare and secondary insurance which is welcomed everywhere. She wanted to charge me before she even saw me a $140.00 or $240 deductible. I disagreed and decided this doctor is not the Dr. for me. I am better off with a different doctor that does less self hyping. It seems in my opinion she is a money hungry doctor. Good thing we live in California and on every corner there is 4 gas stations. Everyone needs to earn their money in an honest and decent way. I love Dr. Sachar. I've been coming to her for years now. Her office staff is courteous and kind. Dr. Sachar is very proactive and encourages preventative measures for optimal health. Made an appointment after having an excruciating episode of gastritis. Waited out the two weeks until the appointment only to get to the office and they had no record of my appointment. I then sat for an hour while they "squeezed me in". Side note- Dr. Suchar also does cosmetic procedures like Botox etc which was the primary reason the other patients were there. It was so weird. I finally saw the doctor and in a very brief visit she prescribed two medications and scheduled an endoscopy for 5 weeks later. Mind you I can barely eat without vomiting and I won't go into the other issues I'm having. I left the office with no paperwork or notes on the medications and a pamphlet on the procedure. A few days later, I check in with my pharmacy to see why the RX's haven't been filled. Nothing had been called in. I call the office and after a very frustrating phone call am told both medications were over the counter. Cut to today- I get a call from the office telling me they have to reschedule the procedure because the Doctor has to take her son to a doctors appointment. WTF?! And she only does endoscopy procedures on Tuesday. I cannot just take time off of work and the next time I have a Tuesday of is Dec 21st. Mind you- I am sick and uncomfortable and this hack of a doctor and her office staff want to reschedule me until December! I came in Sept 10!! I asked if they could recommend another doctor and they said no. So now I have to take the time to find another doctor, book an appointment for a day that I am not working (which isn't for another two weeks) and hope they can get me in that same week. I am beyond livid at how inconsiderate and unprofessional these people are. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO FEEL TAKEN CARE OF OR CARED FOR. read more

Money hungry office. Everything is a charge consultation is $250 if you want paper work fill out is $150. Doctor is never there for patients she's always out of the office according to the staff, but that's a lie her staff tell patients that so the doctor don't have to talk to patients. Also medication for weight loss is not guaranteed to be given to you. They are using the popular diabetic medication Wegovy and Ozempic for weight loss but of course you have to pay 1,000's of dollars for it. This doctor either needs to get a new billing team or she is a con artist. When we made the appointment they said we were in network we always paid our co pays and never heard anything else. After multiple appointments we felt this office wasn't for us and stopped going now almost a year later we are getting thousands in bills?? Saying we were out of network and owe all this money when we didn't even get anything accomplished coming here. I specifically asked if we were covered or we would not have started going there the receptionist said yes! This also all happened after they merged or changed names or billing departments so I think this is not our fault however they don't care just expect us to pay. After being diagnosed with a partial intestinal blockage at the hospital I made an appointment to see Dr. Suchar. I had to wait 2.5 weeks for an appointment. Then the appointment was cancelled at the last minute and then rescheduled for 4 days later. I went in and waited for an hour to be seen. The Dr. was not even on site that day. I saw a nurse practitioner Rosie instead. She wasn't aware of why I was there. I explained I have had intestinal surgery for a blockage before and now a recent CT showed a new obstruction. She told me she was really sorry but that I needed to take a medication to get cleared out. So she prescribed Linzess. They were supposed to order my records and then get right back to me. It has been 5 days with no response. Please see attached medication literature. I called and the doctor may or may not call me back after she reviews the information. I now am tasked with finding another GI doctor who will actually work on my care. Not sure how they have such great reviews! read more

Thank you Dr. Sachar you saved my life. I went into her office on January 11,2022 to get lab work done. On Friday January 14,2002 Dr. Sachar personally called me to go over my blood work. She was extremely concerned. Her and her staff immediately sent orders over for me to get an iron infusion done to prevent from having to get a blood transfusion. Thank God she notified me and we were able to get on top of things quickly. After having an iron infusion done I feel much better then I did yesterday. I most definitely recommend her and her office.
