She calmed our situation down gave us some Instruction and had her foreman " Dante" out to our home the next afternoon with a pump truck And tools. Within a few hrs. They fixed the clog and got most of the junk out of the trunk :) turned out our c-pool and solid waste box has not been pumped in a long while since we did not know where they were. Well after some searching with special metal detector and other cool gadgets they found the c-pool, they also advised us who to call to get copies of where items were placed on our home survey just to be sure. They went over every detail from what trees had to be removed and how much space they need to get into my yard with the equipment. East End Cesspool Service - VERY EXPENSIVE…read more I have used a few cesspool services while I've owned a house out here in Long Island for the last 15 years. Normally, they come and dig a circle around the grass of one of the pools and open the lid, as well as another, which I clear bricks for them to reach it. They suck out the surface waste and blow out the bottom of both pools. The entire job takes about 1 hour. I was always bothered that they charged me $750 for 1 hour of work but it lasted for about a year and I accepted it. I remember one time after they cleared out the cesspool that it was still blocked from a line to the house. The service person snaked it and in ten minutes... it was clear. No charge for snaking and the total was $750 ($375 for each pool). I decided to try out East End Cesspool Service. Their prices were more than anyone has charged me but since I had a blocked cesspool, I decided to let them do it. To keep the cost down, I had them do 'one' cesspool, and they charged me an extra $100 for snaking the house, which took 10 minutes... and they wanted to charge me about $1,100 for the total job. I told them that I never pay more than $750 for doing 'both' pools. He came down in price to $850... for ONE pool service. 3 months later... it was filled up again. They came back and said that they would not charge me for redoing the first pool, which was fair, and they would only charge me for the 2nd. Long story short... they charged me about $750, so it cost $1,600... for doing what the others charge... $750. You'll get your cesspool serviced... but keep in mind they are TWICE the price... 'IF' you talk them down! Never again...
