I'm extremely disappointed and concerned. I woke up to see that Coates Car Care tried to charge my Chime Credit Builder card, but the payment was declined because the wrong CVV was used. That means someone at this business was trying to guess my card information.....which is completely unacceptable and suspicious behavior. I never authorized this charge, and I'm honestly disturbed that a legitimate business would even attempt to process a payment like that. If this was a mistake, it's a serious one, but if it wasn't, that's even worse. Either way, customers deserve better protection and honesty. read more

Never had a problem until new owners said i could not take the same truck I have been going through with for 2 years. That is there rules which is fine. But to keep my money and not refund anything is NOT. I have called repeatedly with no response. I will continue to call and leave reviews everywhere i can until it is refunded. But on a good note MOD WASH FOR THE WIN! Polite workers, micro fibers are always full, no one standing outside smoking cigarettes, always ready to go, trash is always emptied! I guess it was a blessing that the new owners of Coates dont like your tires to be 1 inch outside your fenders. They must be broke to keep my $46.00. read more

They scratched my new Tahoe beyond belief. Hundreds of scratches. They also scratched the glass on the windshield too. I filled out a report immediately. The attendant took pictures. Said they would call. No call. I've called 5 times. Was told a rep will call me back the same day. No call back. They are dodging the issue. I've already contacted my insurance. They are going after them. This is the only car wash this Tahoe has been in since brand new. I was a wash club member. But I canceled last night. After spreading the word, I find out this is not a new thing for them. There are employee reports of worn brushes and improper maintenance and water flow. DO NOT GO HERE. You will be very sorry. I've been thru there most likely 100 times in 2 years. Never a problem until now. You wouldn't believe the damage. It looks as if they used a wire wheel to clean my Tahoe. Stay away. The office staff is useless and rude. I was not looking for a paint job. Just buff out my car and I go away. Now I'm headed to the body shop and the insurance company said they will fight it. The company was just sold to Mr. Magic car care out of Pittsburgh area. Look up the reviews for them. Sleazy company from the Coates office all the way down. Own up to your screw up. Awesome car wash fast and completely clean the vacuum work great hoses are lone and reach every where

I've been using a competitors car wash for a while now. However, their tire shine is very inconsistent with how it works. Also, with the competitor you can only wash once a day with their unlimited plan. Coates says you can do as many times are you want - this would be nice as I wash my vehicle in the morning. If it rains and I drive through it and then it drys out during the day, or I drive down a dirt road during the day, then my vehicle is now dirty and I can't fix it until the next day. Coates would solve this issue from the sounds of it. The other day, I stopped in and signed up for an unlimited membership. I then used the wash once. I was not happy with the service (did not appreciate them using manual brushes on my car [especially when it was not really that dirty- I could maybe see if it was really dirty and you should ask the customer first as I don't think most people would want that], the air freshener they give you has very little smell to it that maybe last 2 minutes after being opened, the 'brushes' in the wash are not brushes at all- they are these basically really heavy cloths that hang and swing back and forth hitting your car [maybe it works? but any dirt is just going to get on them and stay there unlike the other wash that has soft brushes that spin and fling any dirt off due to centrifugal force], the car wash itself is obviously very old and run down [parking lot in terrible shape with potholes], products used leave stains on glass that have to be scrubbed off, no towels for drying [and it wasn't even busy]). Also, when I signed up (which is a hassle in itself, you have to go inside and write down your info and then they come put a sticker on your windshield- the other wash you just drive up to the gate and the friendly person there signs you up and it takes about 20 seconds and then the cameras just read your plate every time you come) the guy who took my card inserted it and then said it didn't work, another employee gave him some kind of card which he then used in the machine, and then he ran my card again saying it didn't work the first time. I called and spoke to a lady to let her know I was not happy with the service and her reply was "Okay, we will cancel it and you won't be charged." Looking at my credit card statement, I WAS charged twice, and one of them was refunded. I called again today and was told "we canceled your membership, you won't be charged again. You were charged for one wash at $22". Wtf? At least let me keep the whole month if you're going to charge me anyways. Go up the road and hit up modwash, they have many more locations that your membership works at. Each location is always clean, friendly staff, different air freshener scents to pick from, always a nice supply of towels, etc. read more

Pretty good place to get a quick car wash in the Valley. I always just get the express wash for $8 and while it's of course not as good as if you spent the time to do it at home yourself, I don't want to take time to do it at home and it definitely gets the dirt and salt off. Just a few left over bugs on the bumper really. Line moves quickly even when they're busy. Takes about 5 min if there is a short line of 2-3 cars. If you're someone who loves your car and wants it to be pristine, you should do it yourself but that's not me and I'm pleased with this place! read more

The car wash is good. Have used for years but the last time it scratched the bumper like fingers ran from top to bottom of my rear bumper. My girlfriend told me had the exact scratches on her rear bumper and roof top . But because her car is leased, she never reported the damage. I wrote a claims report at the hermitage car wash and they told me a manager would be calling me. I put their number in my phone so I'd know when they were calling. It took over a week for someone to call. I missed the call but they left no message or name to call back. They called a second time but again, no message. I called Coates 2 more times and the manager (who remains nameless) was never there. I left messages but no response. It's been a month since the accident and have not heard a thing. Finally I called my own insurance company and I await the results. My car is an expensive car and I know I'll have to replace bumper. I will never go back to the car wash again. Who knows where else they may scratch and they don't take responsibility. read more

Finally ! unlimited car washes. Having recently moved to the area, I was disappointed not to find any place that offered unlimited monthly passes. The guys that work here have a tough job, and they're always pleasant. And having more than one location is good too. Thumbs up! read more
