If you are looking for a nice place to live and enjoy your stay don't even consider this place, rent is very high for the Quality, most of the people you found there are through Airbnb, and This is what you get when you move out from Cobalt apartment see attached, 1 days rent although we moved out same moving date in the AM, left the apartment spotless I have pictures, 2 times garbage charge, paint and cleaning, although there was no damage or garage left, I have lived in few fancy apartment and the service, Communication, cleanliness, and most of all safety, Cobalt don't have none of that, Cars break in every day! Inside the garage in front of the office, no one cares! My first time leaving a review for a place I lived in but after receiving this ridiculous bill they most definitely deserve it. Dear cobalt management great job

    My little living room
    Lauren B.

Ok, let's start with some background. My husband was on the military so we've moved quite a bit. We've lived in a few states before coming to California a couple years ago. I also worked in Property management at a luxury apartment. I currently live in an apartment right now that claims to be luxury. But the only thing luxurious about them is the new appliances and new building. I've lived at Cobalt for two years and let me say you get what you pay for. This is hands down the best apartment I've lived at. Cobalt checks all the boxes. You put a maintenance request in and somebody's in your apartment within 10 to 30 minutes. The hallways are clean and clear. The trash room is properly managed st all times, if somebody puts garbage in there within a couple hours it's gone. I've never seen garbage in the garbage room and come back 24 hours and it's still there. They keep this place so well. The staff in the leasing office is always in a good mood, if they are having a bad day nobody knows, I don't even think they know. They've change a few people over the course of the time that I've lived here but there's no break in the information you don't have to continuously explain yourself to new people. I just moved out about three weeks ago and I will be moving back. It was really sad for me to move because now that I am at my new apartment I realize you get what you pay for with cobalt and even though my new apartment claims to be luxury, they just don't have the customer service or the service part down. Cobalt is a bit pricey but you can appreciate their attention to detail. Especially in todays world where nobody cares about giving you good customer service. I have some of the best memories here. If you're thinking about leasing here just let them know Lauren highly recommended them - I love them!!!!

This is just 1 tenant that is very upset....there is tons of us that feel this way... DO NOT MOVE HEAR

during this whole covid this very very shady company cobalt owned by promethious has not giving us not even 1 doller in credit for not having ementies.. no pool access... no movie theather.. no gym bacically nothing but they still want full rent.. numerous people have brought it up and the property manager Ashley is absolutely bogus in her approach to this... the rent for new tenants is 30% less now then what most of us are paying. While the long term tenants under leese still need to pay full market rate.. DO NOT LIVE HEAR OR EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING HEAR... its a compleate joke

Renter Beware, I cannot recommend this property. Cobalt Apartments (Prometheus properties) is a new and beautiful building. However, the corporate management prevents the property from being the best it can be. Corporate will do everything for marketing and the minimum for the tenants. The building staff is very nice and professional but its the corporate office that puts up a firewall between the tenants and them. The puppet masters at corporate prevent any bad news from getting out. Today, there was an attempted break-in through the window of a unit on the first floor at noon while there was a resident in the apartment. The police were called and a report was filed. However, the management told the tenant not to post the incident on the building posting site for the other neighbors to read. Safety of the tenants are not the priority, marketing is and this is just dangerous for the tenants safety. During the past two years, there has been one apartment break-in plus the one attempt today, numerous bike locker break-in's with thefts, car break-in's, a motorcycle theft from the parking garage and the mail room was broken into to include mailboxes. The building manager is part time (this is not shared with you upon renting) as the week is split between two properties, normal questions are delayed a day or two if they cannot be answered by the front office staff. Repair and cleaning people are also split between buildings and daily walkthroughs are not accomplished. Multiple generations of stray cats continue to dominate the property and urinate on first floor patios and patio furniture. Tenants continue to feed the spraying cats and management is prevented from taking corrective actions. The hallways are not cleaned for days, up to a week. A pet accident goes uncleaned for days in the elevator or hallway. Weekly, the trash room is overflowing (see photo) and the trash odor permeates the hall. The outside apartment windows have no cleaning schedule. I lived here for a year and a half before my window was cleaned for the first time. Overall cleanliness can be much improved to include the parking garage, common hallways, scuff marks on the building exit/entrance doors. Guest parking continues to be a problem with non-consistent enforcement. The tenants have notified management for the past year and a half with lackluster results. The tenant continues to feel ignored. I cannot recommend this property.

Great amenities and quiet neighborhood! I feel safe here because of the security system and key system. When I need maintenance or have a question the Cobalt team helps in 1-2 days. My dog loves the fancy rooftop and he has made a lot of other dog friends here :).

The Cobalt was our first home together. This place is so dog friendly (they run our lives). We loved the dog spa, which made it easy when the dogs got messy. We loved the duck couple that would jump into the pool occasionally. We watched them from our pool view. Seriously, everything and everyone is great. Give this place a try. Big shoutout to the team! Hieu, Carla, Sam, Gibert, Miguel, Sam, David, Brandon -- you guys are incredibly awesome. You guys have treated us and our dogs like family.

Delicious bagel, fruit, coffee, and mimosa on my Move-In Day! Lucky that i chose an event day to move in on!

I wish I could write a better review but I'm so disappointed by what was previously a great place to rent. The buildings are quite dated and the updates that have been made are of the cheapest quality. The old carpeting in the buildings was replaced last year...we all thought what had been placed was the liner and the installation people would be returning to lay the actual carpet. No...the carpet is just that thin and it causes sound to reverberate through the halls. The vinyl flooring in some units is cheap quality and poorly installed, so that it's constantly lifting. They continue to permit cigarette smoking on patios and balconies, and public areas around the site, which means there's smoke coming in through the windows, patio/balcony doors, and vents, regardless of whether you smoke. The complex spent three years and a lot of money to update the property, with the pool and hot tub, bbq area, and clubhouse were all unavailable during this time. The big reveal after all the work reflected that the only thing changed for residents was a nicer bbq area. The pool and hot tub, and all the chaises, tables, and umbrellas are the same that have been there since my initial residency. The clubhouse, which is only open during the management's working hours (unless reserved for a private event), is gorgeous but the main change is a remodel of the office space. The management and facilities staff are the only people who use the "clubhouse," and in great part due to the hours it's accessible as well as the fact that whenever someone goes in there, it feels as if you're interrupting the office staff having their breaks, hanging out and snacking, etc. All the parking spots were redesignated this past year as "assigned" spots, in a clear attempt to increase income for the management company. Residents must pay an additional fee monthly to reserve a spot, covered or not, and there are virtually no unassigned spots for additional resident cars or guests. The office staff regularly "patrol" the parking area for parkers who aren't "registered" and when discovering someone, send an email blast to the entire community calling out the car's identifying details and threatening to have the vehicle towed within a certain number of minutes if it's not moved. During weekends, the Springwood staff tend to park in the spots reserved for "new residents." Management sends email frequently admonishing residents that they've "been told" they cannot have anything on their balconies/patios, hallways, lobbies, etc. as if the residents are young children. I don't like when people break rules meant to ensure people's enjoyment of their rented home either, but there's a way to do this respectfully and a way to make people feel bad. When there are problems with the laundry room machines, the office staff will not assist. The response is that they haven't been trained on how to use the equipment or its software and residents have to contact the vendor (which never seems to result in a response). A dryer has been non-functional for months but despite numerous requests, the management staff have done nothing to ensure that it's repaired or replaced. With only 4 washers and 4 dryers per building, having one out of order creates a difficult situation for residents trying to do their laundry. On the plus side, the maintenance staff are without exception friendly and responsive. The apartments are in a great location and the people living there are generally quite nice, but there are few amenities and the management staff sometimes make residents feel like interlopers.

Today, two of us were walking through chatting, and a Meadows property manager/worker yelled at us from across the parking lot, maybe 40 yards away, asking who we were. Thinking he had mental issues or a salesman, we kept walking. He then approached and harassed us, screaming about how we were trespassing, continuing verbal abuse and harassment and followed us until we left the property. We talked quietly, did not approach anyone, hang door tags, play music, or toss trash. We didn't go into the center apartment area. We're both computer professionals. This employee could have gotten on his golf cart and quietly told us sorry we cannot walk thru his parking lot and to kindly exit the premises. Instead, he chose to yell threateningly across a parking lot and come after us with verbal abuse. A good way to judge apartment management is how they treat visitors. Because as residents, you're going to get more of that - or worse. Stay away from this complex.

Meadows is very safe and it's also in a good location - it is right off of Central expressway and it's close to 237 and 101. Apartment was spacious as well. I also thought the gym was great and bigger than a lot of other apartment gyms so amenities as good here. There is a community pool as well. The management company was very responsive with service requests. We had an issue where the central AC was spewing out dead bugs so the maintenance team quickly came in and gave us a new AC. Meadows also hosts some events every couple months (coffee station, Easter egg hunt, food trucks, etc.) which made the apartment complex feel more like a community. One of the drawbacks about this complex is the lack of natural light in the some of the apartments. Because of all the tall redwood trees and the direction of our apartment, we didn't get much light. For the most part, we had our lamps turned on all the time. And because of the trees, leaves would fall into our balcony so we had to frequently clean that up. We decided to leave once the lease was up as we found a place with more natural light closer to our offices and meadows was going to increase the rent by $250 a month. If it wasn't for the light situation, probably would have continued to stay here. Overall I enjoyed living here, and if you are ok with less natural light or you are able to get an apartment facing the right direction, then I recommend!

My wife and I really love the place, and wanted to renew our contract when it is time to. That is until today. I'm not a great cook but I'm adequate and know my way around the kitchen. I tried to fry a scallion pancake with an egg today, and turned on the range hood under the microwave, that is also above the stove to the lower setting; like how I always have done over the years for the same food. It's not deep fry, so normally no need to turn it to the biggest setting. A few minutes later, the fire alarm rang. I looked up and saw light white smoke, which the range hood should have sucked up. My food was just turning a golden brown color, which means it's perfectly cooked. I am really pissed off that the range didn't do its job and that in turn made the fire alarm go off. This is just one of those things that makes or breaks the experience. Why the hell would you have a gas based stove paired with such a low suction powered range hood?! It's common sense that when you have a lower powered range hood, you should pair it with an electric stove top. When you have a gas based real fire stove top, you need to have a higher powered range hood. Who designed this shit for the apartment!? That individual/company need to be fired! That is just unsafe practice and a lack of common sense.

We loved the amenities and our apartment, however our experience with management has been terrible as they did not help us when we were being harassed. As multiple reviews have mentioned already, the management here is slow, dismissive, and unprofessional, especially Jeshel. She dismissed us and would reschedule our meetings after we took time out of our day to meet her! During our stay, our neighbor would constantly harass us by banging on their ceiling (we lived above them), coming to our door multiple times a week (day or night), kicking our door, and repeatedly calling the cops with false claims, saying there were fights or domestic abuse happening. My boyfriend and I are always careful to be quiet during all times of the day and the cops that would come were always on our side as they can see that none of our neighbor's complaints were true. We were harassed for most of our one year stay. Despite us keeping an entire document detailing every time he would harass us (with video evidence), management said it was still not enough for them to take action. It was only when the cops wrote a police report that our neighbor's claims were false and they found shoe marks from him kicking our door that management issued him a warning. We did not feel safe while living here as he continued to harass us even after the warning. So if you have a problem and need management to help resolve it, don't expect anything. Even our emails have gone unanswered many times. We are incredibly disappointed because for 4k+/month you'd expect management to reply to emails and take action when there's a problem.

Other than that, we have enjoyed living here. The leasing team is wonderful which is the cherry on top!
