We have had Joe and his employees (Gary, Mike, Cody) out to our house for several projects (new circuit breaker, pot lights, flood light installation, etc). Each time they have done an amazing job. They are very attentive, will point out/fix prior electrical issues so that they are up to code, and they will keep their work area clean. Our knights in shining armor on the hottest days of the year! We had an overnight late power outage- not only did Joe return our call before 7 the next day- but he was here by 8 troubleshooting. He took the time to show us and explain our issues in detail to be sure we would understand what needed to be done and why. Not only that but he called local supply stores on the spot and in front of us so we would best understand the charges and costs. His crew was here the next day to complete the repairs and get our power back on and functioning safer than before. I am sure the owner will respond. He has an answer for EVERYTHING. BEWARE!!!! The owner is very very slick. He made me feel like we were friends for years and tried using that later. He kept telling me "I don't like many people, but I like you." I had met him for 15 minutes at the time. This owner tried to upsell and upsell and upsell. I am embarrassed to say that I didn't pick up on the scheme until after he began work. The scheme is very complex and probably fluid depending on the person he is in front of. I felt like he used psychological tactics, scare tactics and tried to go after pride. Continue reading for details. The owner came in our home and began pointing out what other contractors had done incorrectly. I fact-checked him after the fact and he was mostly wrong about what he was saying. I informed him that we are moving into the property upon completion and, in hindsight, I felt like he began using scare tactics on me to get me to spend more money by asking if my kids were staying in these bedrooms and there are no smoke detectors? He can fix that at $250 each. I felt like he sized me up and tried to get every penny out of me as possible. He commented on my wife's wedding ring and later told her that she should feel fortunate because we were able to renovate 3 bathroom and most people can only do 1. I feel like he was trying to make me feel like I had to prove to him how much money I have (pride tactics) by hiring him to do a ton of un-needed work. I will never call him again and I feel like that is his business model. Get as much out of someone as possible the first time and not worry about repeat business. (My guess is the owner will say that he doesn't get repeat business because he always gets the job done the first time. Fact is that things still break and people move. I am curious to see what he has to say.) He claims to be #1 on HomeAdvisor which makes sense. Every other referral I got for an electrician was too busy to come out. He showed up immediately. Good because we were in a pinch but I didn't add 1+1 to realize that there is a reason he is on HomeAdvisor and not booked solid from previous customers. Lesson learned on my part. Another scheme he pulled was to keep telling me that he would do things for free. Put in a bracket for a ceiling fan and small items he kept telling me he would do for free. I never asked for anything free. I wanted a price for it all. He gave me a price but that was only for some of the work, and the most expensive work. The rest of the work was either more money or "free" so he will come back and do it later. Another chance for him to upsell upsell upsell. Further, his prices to me were labor only. I had to buy the materials and he made me go to the electric supply house twice. (He may respond that he was doing me a favor by getting me a discount but I looked it up and the discount was $1 per unit. He needed me to pick up parts for him so he didn't have to do it.) Finally, the last item to mention with this company is that the owner insists to be paid for work he has not completed. He refused to complete the work we agreed upon because he wanted to be paid before the work was complete. He asked me for money upfront, which was to be expected, and then he asked me to "hide a check" somewhere for him so he could get it when he returns to actually do the work. Seriously. "Hide a check". Needless to say, that didn't happen. I think he will respond and say that I told him I would pay him when the service panel was complete (he said that to me during our argument), which is a lie. I told him I would pay him when the work was complete. Answer for everything and if doesn't have an answer, he put words in my mouth. Eventually I paid him for the work that was done and fired him. I need another electrician to complete the work that this and I feel like I need a shower after dealing with him. read more

Very disappointed in the service. Our first conversation the owner boasted on how he is the #1 electrician around. However, did not show up to a scheduled appointment. I called to inquiry what happened and he clearly forgot about he appointment and never called back to apologize or reschedule. I would not recommend. read more

Awsome upfront business I had a problem with my pool electric, my pool company recommended cobalt and the same day I called the owner came out to look at my situation. He could have easily took my money but he suggested a simple fix that might be the issue with my electric company, it turns out it was and it didn't cost me anything. Joe could have charged me for coming out but instead he wanted an update after the electric company checked there wires regardless if it was fixed or not. I gave joe an update and told him everything was working properly again and his knowledge saved me lots of money. It's hard to find an honest business like this.
