I needed an outlet installed for a new tankless water heater that I was planning to have installed. As I was getting estimates for the new tankless water heater, my old water heater started leaking a lot of water into my laundry/utility room, so I needed to act quickly. When he came out to estimate the outlet installation he asked if I had found a plumber yet for the water heater installation. I told him I had an estimate from a local company but I thought it was kind of high. The two other plumbers who I had estimates from we are no longer able to take the job because of staffing issues due to COVID-19. Dave said he knew a good plumber and called him on the spot. He FaceTimed so that the plumber could see the job. The plumber he recommended was able to give me an estimate within a couple of hours. And came in $700 lower than the previous plumbers estimate. Plus he could do the job the very next day. Hurray! The plumber that Dave recommended came out and did a great job on the tankless water heater installation! They worked in a tight space in an old house and even were able to run my vents up through an attic and crawlspace and out behind a chimney so that they cannot be seen from the front of the house. Then Independent Electric Services came out and did a perfect job on the outlet installation for which I had originally contacted them. If I had not called Independent Electric Services I would've spent more money on my water heater and I would probably still be trying to get the job done. Dave made it happen fast, competently, and at a great price! I cannot recommend this company enough.

He also installed a new outlet for an overly sensitve humidity sensor for my bathroom ventilator. It kept going on over and over again. I had to keep turning it off multiple times a day. He also cut the ends off of some shades I had ordered. They are custom made shades and I apparently gave the wrong measurements and they were too long. I had called around to different stores and no one was willing to help me unless I had bought the shades from them. I mentioned it to Vlad to see if he knew of anyone who could help me out, and he said I can try. He is an electrician, but he used his skills to really help me out. Ordered Dry Wall Tuesday and paid over the phone- sales person said it would be delivered…read moreWednesday. Sales person was made fully aware this was a city address, Wednesday comes- no drywall. Called back and they promised it would be delivered Thursday. Thursday morning a truck does arrive and it's too wide to fit down the street so they don't even attempt to deliver and they turn around and go back. We watched this happen, again no communication. Note, while it is a one way city street, this is not one of those narrow alley ways. It's frequently traveled and there are several restaurants and grocers on the street and most trucks can fit down it just fine. We call again and they said they would deliver it Friday. Friday comes and goes and we have to call again asking where the drywall is- apparently it's now our fault for not calling them to let them know when the street would be clear... WTF? A. that was never mentioned in any of the other calls B. It's a city-the street will never be clear and we have no jurisdiction to make it so. They said they need a 12 foot space to unload- my van is 15 feet and easily moveable so that wouldn't have been a problem if they actually came or communicated with us at all ahead of time to let us know that's what they needed. Nothing they can do now until Monday(except take our money- so glad the charge on the card cleared). Now all the man power we had lined up to install the drywall prior to us moving in is a waste. Their mantra of "on time delivery" is a complete farce.While the company isn't required to care about how this affects us or our timing at all, they should care about their reputation and living up to their business motto. This company is severely lacking in the customer service and communication department. If you decide to go with them expect to stay on your toes and be proactive about communicating. Do not expect on-time delivery so maybe call a week in advance of when you were planning on needing the drywall. And if something does go awry expect to be blamed for it.

Krista and Bob both came (after confirming every step of the way via text or call/ their arrival, next steps etc)... masked, helpful, kind, friendly- PROFESSIONAL -- straight to the point.
