When I visited around 10:30 on a recent weeknight, the atmosphere was chill with folks relaxing after their restaurant shifts enjoying ice cream at the booths and service was quick to checkout. Easy parking, well lit in the evening and overall just a nice experience. Of course, expect the usual convenience store mark up for essentials, but being open until midnight is just so, well, convenient! Especially for us night owls!

They gave me an estimate to fix my…read moreson's car- I don't know if it was a good price as I did not shop around as I was going through cancer treatment. They mentioned they had a military discount- for a $4000 plus bill I think it was maybe $100- so around 2%. The repair seemed ok-hood and driver front damage. Weeks later, I realized they never installed nor returned the sticker to hold the hood up. Again, I was going through chemotherapy so I was not checking and my son never mentioned anything. Today, months later, I was going to add some hood hydraulic struts as the only way to keep the hood open safely is with someone holding it. To install the struts, you have to remove two bolts that hold the hood to the hinge and the secure the strut hardware. Both bolts sheared when I went to remove them with a regular 1/2 drive ratchet- remember I am recovering from chemo and radiation so I probably have the strength of a 14 year old right now. The hood would have been removed and repaired and then reinstalled with the bolting and I assume tightened with an impact to the point where they can never be used again. This is a 12 mm ( about 1/2 inch head) and was way overtorqued to the point that they both sheared from normal hand removal. I now have to extract the two broken bolts before I can continue. The videos for the hydraulic struts demonstrate that they can be installed in minutes. I am going to have to extract two bolts with someone holding the hood- what a sh*tshow. Also, my son's car had some normal scratches that could have been easily buffed out. They did not buff these out. I have never seen that before from an auto body shop. Overall, I would say the repair was below average especially since they kept the hood support. I would not recommend this place.

I drove to the shop without an appointment and asked if they could fit me in sometime. After describing what was wrong with the vehicle, they said they could get me in today. Heck, yeah, I'll wait. Repairs (cutting and replacing a portion of the exhaust pipe) were made at a reasonable price. The car was so quiet afterwards, I almost restarted it, thinking it wasn't running. Anyway, a trusted mechanic, that's hard to come by these days. Judging by how busy the shop is, a lot of people appreciate this family owned business as well.
