So I've been going to Cobblestone for probably 4 years now and I used to go to the one in Chandler and I actually moved to Tempe so I've been going to this location and I met Darius not too long ago and he hooked me up with a fast pass and I've been using it for about 6 months now and I love it I get unlimited washes for $19 a month which is awesome. I am buying a new company truck and I wanted to have my Nissan detailed because I'm no longer using it for a company vehicle and he worked his magic and had my car detailed top to bottom for a great price. If you ever need your vehicle detailed ask for Darius. Awesome guy very friendly and if it's not to busy he is hilarious to talk to. Cobblestone on kyrene and elliot is now my go to place for a wash. Also he saw a cracked in my windshield so he had one of his team members look at it and I am scheduled for a replacement in two days! Awesome service. read more

I've visited cobblestone a number of times. They have always done a pretty good job cleaning my car. Service is not overly friendly, but they are pretty good. I like their waiting area, both inside and outside, the seats are very comfy. I also love that they call you over speaker, that way in the hot months you can stay indoors while your car is getting the VIP service. My only complain is that their reward system uses your license plate number to track your points, 2 out of 3 times the attendant enters the wrong license plate number. So make sure, if you want to rake in some rewards, to ensure your license plate number is correct on your receipt. By doing so you can get some detail service fot free! read more

I recently purchased and upgraded an exterior wash, wax detail package. I added an interior cleaning as well. I am VERY pleased with the results of the job performed. From the General Manager and all the staff members of their team; the friendliness, professionalism and the attention to detail made me feel like I was having an 'exotic' automobile serviced vs the 13 year old daily commuter that needed a long overdue detail! They had to "clay bar" the finish as well as polish the oxidized headlamps! My car looks the best it has looked in a very long time. I feel like I was purposely penalized for trying the entry level wash to see what was acceptable. Very poor service. I was told immediately that they would NOT be doing a great job at getting the pet hair out. OK.... I get it. Didn't offer to try or offer me a level that would. Terrible job on the windows. Rear interior window went untouched. Dash had ONE wipe streak across the middle and that was it. So clearly was the rest of the dash not cleaned I am surprised they would allow a guy to feel that was done. Just an overall poor experience and I won't be going back. Shame for me & them since I just moved here and have 3 nice cars to keep clean. I will find a business that wants to earn my business. read more

This is my go to spot for a car wash! This review is for the self service car wash only. Every time I've visited, the self serve vacuum suction has been strong and I like that they have air compressor hoses to blow the cracks of your car off. The sales people aren't pushy. This is by far the best $3 car wash this side of town. It's a great 1 stop shop too, drive your car thru for the wash, then vacuum, fill up your tank, and grab a drink for the road. They literally tried to steal my ladder. I have a membership here and have had numerous washes for my work truck. I've always had a ladder ( a very expensive one) in my truck bed that lays on the bed flat. I noticed it had been stolen. I spent a good deal of time going through camera footage at my house, then filling out a report at my work for a stolen ladder etc. I then recalled I had my truck washed and thought that someone could have possibly taken it from the car wash. So I went back to see if I could look at the cameras. When I arrived I went around the back to see if anyone had stashed it there. Sure enough I saw it and a guy sheepishly came up to me as I took it. He tried to give me various excuses like they coins t wash the truck with a ladder in it. That of course has never been the case dozens of times before. Then when I pressed him why no one ever told me about it , he had no answer. Think about it. Obviously the person hoped the I would think it was randomly stolen elsewhere and he'd get a ladder at the end of the day whenever. I've taken my car to a few different businesses before to get an exterior/interior cleaning. When I moved to my new apartment, I got a coupon for a free basic wash which includes interior and exterior. So, I went ahead and decided to try Cobblestone. I had fairly low expectations because I always feel like after I leave a place, I see areas inside that need to be wiped more thoroughly so I usually just do it myself. Well, my car hadn't been cleaned in a very long time and it definitely needed some TLC. So, I asked if I could use the coupon and upgrade, which I could, so I went ahead and got their top package since it was a good deal and came with an additional free basic wash. I had to wait about 30 minutes but there is a pretty good waiting area inside so I didn't mind. When I got my car back, I was borderline shocked at the interior! My car is a 2007 and it looked nearly brand new! All dog hair gone and the dash/center console and doors all were shiny and clean! Very impressed and you've definitely earned yourself a new regular customer! read more

I take my car and my wife's car to cobblestone about every 3 weeks. The car wash does a great job and the majority of staff is pleasant to work with. While I understand that most employees have to up sell detail packages, one in particular is extremely polite to deal with when it comes to checking in my vehicle. His name is Jeremy and he is always polite and curtious . He doesn't pressure you at all. He simply asks if you would like any additional services. IF I do ever get my vehicle detailed,i will personally seek him out because of this attitude and behavior. Overall the car wash does a great job. I have recently moved to Tempe having driven here from the Midwest. Those dang bugs in Texas are huge and nasty. My car was a hot mess. I was in terrible need of a wash since the Az sun was baking those suckers right onto my paint job. I saw this car wash when I was getting groceries. Figured that it really didn't matter how good it was, something had to be done. I chose a special for $7.99. First I want to say back home this is the price of a standard wash....so all these extra services were great. I was given a wet towel for mu dashboard and a little scent wafer. He gave the front some extra spray on those bugs and thru the wash I went. There was no one to towel dry my car but that is ok it dried pretty quick. There was free vacuum with the wash which I did not use, but nice in case I needed it. Now about those bugs...... this wash cleaned aboit 98 percent. It looks great. I figured I would need bug cleaner applied first, bit over all a great job and I will go back! read more

A tale of two locations (AKA: AVOID 7700 S Autoplex, GO TO 616 W Baseline) First the good: 616 W Baseline I have been a loyal repeat customer of Cobblestone Auto Spa ever since I encountered Jared, one of the managers at the 616 W Baseline. The first time I went there I had my car detailed for $150 after discounts. The detail had been a little rushed because the location was extra busy that day and they were also short staffed. As a result there appeared to be some minor scratching. Jared was immediately on the ball and worked to have the scratched buffed out and fixed. I was very impressed with him as I watched and saw him masterfully handle other customer issues like mine. I was impressed enough that I told the man to his face that I was going to be a loyal customer directly as a result of his good work. I am not good with names or dates, but I remember this man's name, because he does his job with pride. After Jared, I became a fastpass customer and still remain one. COBBLESTONE, PAY CLOSE ATTENTION! THIS IS THE KIND OF EMPLOYEE YOU NEED MORE OF! Now the Bad: 7700 S Autoplex I first went to this location because I needed an oil change and the 616 location does not do oil changes. I got a heavy up-sale routine but went with it anyway. I also got a wash that was far below the standards of the 616 location. I let that all slide, as just being an off day. I then went a second time for a wash, also below standard. I also let that slide. I then went to get a wash yesterday. Not only was the wash worse than ever, but the car interior looked worse coming out than it did before I came! To begin with the carpets were barely vacuumed at all. There was dust and small dirt everywhere never even attempted to be cleaned. The only real evidence that they did anything was white stuff rubbed into the grain of dash around the driver's side air conditioning vent. There were also several new white smudges on the back of the seats as well as the seat back and headrests of both sides of the back seats. When I pointed out the mess on the dash, initially they tried to say this was the dash paint wearing off. I was able to remove some of this white stuff (that looked a lot like a car wax) with my thumb nail. The manager, who I do not remember his name (nor is he worthy of being remembered) wanted to just get his day over and wanted to fill out a damage report. I remained reasonable but refused to just drop it because I knew they caused the problem. At this point 3 of the employees were involved and seemed more concerned with getting the day over than fixing the problem. They were disrespectful and discourteous. Finally after they saw the light of day that it was not damage, but just some stuff that they managed to smear into the dash. They asked me to come back the next day. Obviously fixing the problem right then was just too much effort. I went home, frustrated but moderately satisfied that the car would be fixed the next day. The next day while examining the contents of the back seat that were just tossed about with no care, and no effort to clean anything, I discovered a pair of women's panties placed in the center of the floor of the back seat. Keep in mind that the floor mats were not vacuumed, but tossed on the back seat. I knew these were not my wife's who is a small woman because these were of a rather robust size. Also these were obviously clean panties, so I gather that one of the employees has a fat girlfriend or wife who is missing something from the laundry. I suspect these were a gift for my complaining about the condition of the car and the fact I was making them late from rushing home to see the next episode of moronic reality TV. As a result I was livid. I had tried to be cooperative and reasonable and was rewarded with this insult added to injury. I went to the 7700 location immediately and complained. They clearly found the actions of the yet undetermined employee very humorous, and were going to make no attempt to secure an apology or terminate the maleficent employee. They reluctantly looked at fixing the area of the dash they had messed up, and made a halfhearted attempt to fix it. At this point the dash looked a little better but not the same as it did when I brought the car in. I was tired of dealing with these lazy incompetent fools who had no pride in their work and decided to take the car back to the 616 location. Jared to the rescue: I took the car directly to the 616 location and saw Jared busily working with his staff. I pulled up and was greeted courteously by one of the staff. After being checked in I called out to Jared and explained the situation to him. He dutifully sought out to resolve this issues and return my car to its former glory. This was not his problem, his staff did not cause it but he fixed it. Lesson: NEVER GO TO THE 7700 LOCATION! ALWAYS GO TO THE 616 LOCATION! COBBLESTONE, BAD MANAGERS MAKE FOR A BAD STAFF. Well, I just spent $40 on a car wash for my gf's Jeep. To be fair, the Jeep was in bad shape (parked under a tree for awhile, need I say more?). However, what I was surprised about was the inadequacy of the front window washing, water marks (not the permanent kind, but the "I'm in a hurry and not drying your car, kind). They did re-do the windows, which I appreciated. But, when I got home, I noticed they only cleaned back wheel wells and not the two front? Huh? That doesn't make any sense. I will use the comp car wash that came with it, but won't go back. Pretty sure your $$ is better spent elsewhere. On a positive note, all the customer service interactions were great - just not the quality of the job for the cost Meh. read more

I paid $45 for a diamond touch which includes detailing the inside. I was there over an hour and waited 30 minutes for the detailing that was apparently never done. When I got back in the car, it had Armour All spray marks that had not been wiped, dust in the vents and nooks, the dog hair on the mats are hard to vacuum, but it was obvious there had been only one cursory swipe at the mats. The worst part was that there was some kind of cleaning solution that had dripped all over both front seats. I had put my dog on the passenger seat this morning and those spots were NOT there. I just paid (with tip) $21.00 for my car to be cleaned. It was not real dirty but I wanted it to look good because I am going out to see a longtime friend. I had some ashes on the floorboard of my car and when I left I noticed they were all still there! I know ashes are not hard to vacuum up! Stick with the $5.00 washes and clean the car yourself then it will get cleaned! I wish Yelp would allow me to download a picture for you all to see. I would select zero stars if that was an option. I previously had a membership with this auto spa and decided not to renew due to me relocating to California. However, I recently moved back and came back several times just for a quick wash and vacuum and the services were terrible. The workers outside try to sell you into getting a membership which is fine. There's a fine line of that and forcing you into buying a membership by making it a ten minute conversion when other cars behind you are trying to get their car wash as well. Respect the people's decisions and take a kind "no" for an answer. If they don't want to save money on a membership, that's their problem not yours. My biggest problem EVERY single time is when they charge me twice on their services through the machine. I get a receipt for one charge not two. How do I know this? I check my account ever time something is posted and I always find double charges onto my account. I gave them numerous of chances thinking it was just a glitch with their system but this last double charge was the last straw. I have called my bank a total of 6x this year to dispute the double charges and always got my money back because they always found double charges. If you come to this location, bring your change and cash DO NOT pay with your debit card or else you'll have double charges or even more into your account without knowing. I use to have a membership with them. My account was under "John" and turns out I was paying for someone's bill monthly. That was the end of it. I was charged twice a month and I didn't notice it until I overlook my bank statements. Lucky, I bank with a great bank and they dispute the charges because on the vendors end showed evidence that I was paying for someone's member ship and still getting charged twice. NOT OKAY! **UPDATE: 01/05/2018- The manager says "they never found my information on file" however, that is a lie! Car wash is usually standard. They miss some things, but overall the wash is usually ok. Now, for the Staff.. Been to this location at least 6 times; each and every time, I get friendly service with a smile - until the pushy sales pitch. I understand the concept of up-selling and working on commission, trust me. However, having friendly service and a smile up UNTIL I opt not to have a monthly wash.. Not okay. Every time, without fail, the attendant pitches me their monthly program and then when I say no, literally SHUTS DOWN. I say "I might look into it next time", to which he walks away to his computer without a word, prints the ticket, and sticks out his hand for me to grab it, no eye contact. I say thanks, with no response, and then go to pay. Seriously? If someone doesn't want to pay monthly for car washes, ACCEPT IT AND TELL THEM TO HAVE A NICE DAY - it's basic customer service. I usually wash my own car, but last year I bought an SUV and it became too labor intensive to perform myself, so I decided to get a membership at this establishment. Everything was great until one day back in July my sticker wasn't registering. I went inside and it turns out that my sticker was registered to someone else's account, and there's was registered to mine. "Human error" they said, no problem and they fixed it. Or so they said. This month I just so happened to look at my credit card bill and noticed the company was double charging me. They had been double charging me since July! I had to go back twice to get it figured out. My credit card was being charged for someone else's account! The same person as before. (at least it wasn't being used, they said). They were very apologetic and emailed the corporate office to process my refund. My refund was processed and my account was charged again for the month of December. I go to get my car washed today and low and behold, MY STICKER WASN'T WORKING AGAIN! So I had to, yet again, go inside and straighten things out! My sticker was cancelled instead of the other customer's sticker! The saving grace is that the people have always been patient, nice and apologetic.... But that's probably because they make constant stupid mistakes that have wasted hours of my time. If they didn't corner the market, I wouldn't come back to this company. I have no desire to wash my own car, so until there's another company that's close to my house, I guess I'm stuck with them. read more

My car needed cleaning, so I went here because I thought it would be safe. I could wear a mask, the employees would be wearing masks and I could wait for my car outside. However, I felt very UNsafe, because none of the employees were wearing masks. My car is nice and clean, but I won't be going here again until there is a Covid-19 vaccine. I had an appointment and had to leave when I got in my vehicle I did notice carpet wasn't vacuumed very good, floor boards were dirty and overall outside cleaning was horrible. Was my car clean after I took it here? Yes? Was it as clean as I wanted it to be? Not really. I got the mid-level car wash - it was $19.99. This included wash, wax, vacuum, etc. The people working there were very nice and it didn't take very long. The outside was great and they did a really good job on my windows - I didn't realize how dirty they were. I can see so clearly now which is great. The one place I was disappointed in was the vacuuming. My center console was like half done, several places in my back seat were still dirty and it was like they didn't go into the hatchback at all. Plus my mirrors were all completely out of place when I got back in my car so I had to put them all back. Next time I think I'll just get the cheaper wash and hope they take a few more minutes with the vacuum. read more

Really pleased with this convenient place! They are preferred through Progressive, so going in for a basic car wash, I ended up coming out having a windshield replacement scheduled (which they came to my location within 3 days and did a GREAT job) and also buffed out minor paint & scratch damage after the wash. Having my windshield replacement done got me a month worth of free washes- can't complain! The first time I went, I had a full detail done. It was pretty good. My only complaint is that they don't vacuum very well. They missed a lot of the cracks & creases where the most dirt builds up. But their customer service is really good. Wait time can be a bit lengthy, but I am always really happy with the job they do. Really not much to complain about when you don't have to lift a finger! I've come to accept that my standards for what I consider to be a clean and thorough car wash must be impossibly high if the service that Cobblestone offers is anywhere near a standard or normal level for these establishments. I've been to this location twice now and have been sorely disappointed with the resultant wash both times. In each case, I've had to spend a minimum of 30-40 minutes cleaning the mess that they've left behind. On my recent visit, i went in fully intending for them to do the full deluxe wash. During my initial conversation, my interest was peaked as the gentleman that was writing up my ticket mentioned to me that there was another wash above the highest one listed. Apparently at this service level they actually take the time to *clean* the interior before applying the polish/conditioners. ... Okay. I'll bite. I was told it would take at least about 40 minutes to complete. It was right after they had opened on a Sunday morning, I had no place to be, so I was game. Resting in their waiting area (which is comfortable enough), about 20 minutes had gone by when another gentleman entered and said that my truck was finished. As we walked to the vehicle, he apologized for it taking so long, as he was the only one there. As you can imagine, at this point the sense of dread is already setting in. As we approached my truck and I began to take note of the condition of the truck, I quietly slipped the money I had set aside as a tip, hopped in, straightened my mirror and drove immediately over to the vacuums. As stated, my rear-view mirror had been completely turned to face the passenger seat. My steering wheel had been tilted completely downward and (of course) my drivers seat had been moved around. So much of their interior dressing had been applied in some areas that it had pooled in the flat spots and the pockets of my doors. In the middle of my rear bench seat there was a very large dollop of whatever their interior dressing is. Many window corners clearly had exterior wax product around the outer edges and corners and water was running from several exterior trim pieces. Fortunately, after a very similar experience the last time I was here, I had some wash towels with me so that I could complete the job. The one that I had just paid $50+ dollars to Cobblestone for. Fool me once, fool me twice, etc. Not again. I may use them again in the future to get a basic wash in a pinch, but nothing else. read more

I was a frequent customer for years...but NO MORE. Attendant refused to remove my antenna bcuz i did not pay additional $ for higher wash. Then he said he would remove it but could not put it back on. My spare tire cover got lost during the wash so i went back immediately. The cashier said nothing could be found and done so i asked to see the mgr. No mgr on duty. Cashier assured me i would get a call back the next mrng. No call back from mgr all mrng. I called twice by noon, I was not transferred to a mgr until I got drilled about why I needed to speak to the mgr. Then I was kept waiting on hold for over 5-8mins. Needless to say I never got a response from the mgr. All I wanted was a resolution or even a response of "we are sorry for the issue" But, nothing. I'm upset. I have a pass to get my car washed monthly and it's ok most of the time. Quite often though the soap dispensers in the wash are empty or clogged because limited amount gets on the car itself. I just took my car there for a full resale detail, engine, interior, exterior and head light renewal. Upon receiving my car there were new "soap" spots on the inside( my car was well kept before this detail). It looked as though they just sent it through the wash, the wiped down the dash and washed the floor mats. This did not look like a few hundred dollar detail. The engine looked better but there was plenty of dirt still under the hood. Headlights were better but still missed spots. As for exterior detail and wax , not even close to what you would expect for the price. Lots of dirt in door jams and areas easily visible to the eye. When I told the detail manager he said " i was right, and to bring it back tomorrow. They would redo it" I felt this was fair to make it up to me. After returning and expressing my concerns. I was told all would be made right and I could pick it up later. After 6 hrs or so I called to see if it was done and was told to come get my car. When I inspected the car the engine looked Better and the lights, but there was still dirt build up in and around the doors and trunk, which I was told would be taken care of, and still "soap" stains on the inside. When I asked the attendant about cleaning inside, he tile me " we were only told to do the outside." I am really disappointed being that I am a customer on their month pass and frequent here often and recommend to friend and family to sign up. I don't know if this will be the case any more. I do appreciate the staff attempting to fix the problems, but this was not the case in the end, and I do not have time to be bringing my car back every day for hour, especially since I am on a time crunch to sell it. read more

Honestly this is the first time I have a left review because I don't do this. If I could give this less than a zero I would. I have been using this cobblestone for years because it's literally down the street from my house. This will be the last time I come here. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that you need to be harassed by the same employee about signing up for unlimited. Last month I took my car to get washed and pulled up to the gate to pay, as soon as I pulled up an employee approached me and asked me what car wash I wanted and asked if I had unlimited I told him no I don't have it and he asked me if I wanted to join I said no thank you. Instead of accepting my no he continued to berate me about why I didn't want to join and being sarcastic about it. "What you don't like saving money" "you know it's going to rain right" "I bet you anything you're going to be back within the month" "wow you don't want unlimited on a black car" "if you just sign up you won't have to deal with me anymore" I chose not to say anything and continued to get my car cleaned. I went again today and pulled up to the gate the SAME employee approached me and I already knew I didn't want to deal with him. When he got to my car he asked me the same question as last time what car wash I wanted and I said I don't know but I got it and thanked him and I didn't need his help. He continued to stand there and asked me if I had unlimited I said no I don't and told him I have dealt with him before and I told him no last time and it is till a no and yet again told him that I got it thank you. He stood there next to my car and basically refused to leave. He berated me again with the same statement "what you don't like saving money" I told him that every time I come to that car wash he hounds me about signing up and I have said no. I asked him multiple times to please leave me alone he continued to stand there by my car and say "gate has opened you can drive" "I'm just trying to do my job miss" I told him he can respect the fact I said no and repeated myself multiple times I finally started to drive and he said "I'm going to get you to say yes" there is no reason anyone needs to treat anyone like this. If I said no I said no. If I said I didn't need your help thank you I'm sure that's a sign to please walk away. I asked him multiple times to step away from my car and he just stood there.
