My company (208paint.com) painted the complete interior of a large rental property managed by Cobblestone. After advancing an invoice we were told the "checks in the mail." When it didn't arrive in a timely manner, we phoned to spoke with their office staff (Wendy); who then admitted they had not paid the bill & instead directed us to collect from a third party contractor. This charade ran contrary to our agreement. We've yet to be paid and are left with the overriding opinion that Cobblestone Property Management (Boise, ID) are disreputable, discourteous & dishonest. read more

Been here for 5 years and the pool is the most useful asset especially in the summer 114 degrees. This summer-no pool. I can see it but the gate is locked. They work on it on weekends so I guess it will be done whenever??? The residents are not a real priority it seems. read more

Former tenant of one year. I found Cobblestone to be the worst company that I've ever rented from. My family and I were literally left in the cold during the 2016-2017 winter when the furnace failed in the property I was leasing and the Cobblestone Property managers delayed the repairs nearly a week. They only responded when a letter arrived from the City of Boise, and After speaking directly with the owner. Dishonest Property Managers seems to be the norm and I wish I too could give them ZERO stars. We electively relocated after one year. Unfortunately, I don't think that they really care. Takes forever to communicate about application status. Will ask a question about something and sometimes not get back to you at all. Some tenants are in stressful living situations and the urgency is missing from the managements side of things. Went to tour the house and the person didn't even show up. Told us 30 minutes later that they just "couldn't make it". When we did see one of their listings to rent it was all beat up, things broken, smoke detectors laying around. We lived in a property managed by them for 4+ years and never had an issue with them until move out. Not only did they not bother to send an invoice within the legally allowed amount of time, we were charged an arm an a leg for every little thing despite the fact we took photos and video of the property at move out and formally disputed many of the charges. The owner of the property decided to not renew our lease because she wanted to upgrade the house in an effort to try and sell it. Much of those costs were then turned around and sent to us in an invoice. Not only did we not get any of our deposit back, but were charged an additional 2k worth of "damage". How are these people still in business?! If you own a property, please go with a different property management company as I don't see how these people have even lasted this long. With impeccable credit and more than sufficient income, they were requesting a co-signer AND twice the deposit amount. When I told them I would not be doing that - I would find a different property to rent and to please cancel my application and move on to the next person, the office personnel got extremely mean and even harassing (as if I had been in the wrong). They first agreed to refund the application fee (before I asked them to move on to the next applicant), then backed down stating that they feel I should have expected it to happen. The fee really wasn't worth it for me to pursue. Getting anyone in the office to return a call was like pulling teeth, and dealing with their rude behaviors was even worse. If I were you I wouldn't "go in with an open mind" or believe that "only people with negative comments write reviews" (look at the amount of positive comments that other places have). By far the worst property management group i have ever dealt with, they are thieves.. Super nice in the beginning i was never late on rent very low maintenience but once i said i was buying a house they just expected me to let people in to look at house with no notice. Carolina Trotta expected me to do her job for her..the reason they dont like showing the houses is because when you move they are gonna fuck you on your deposit. Elisa of Cobblestone Proptery was put on notice via text and email again this saddens me please do not judge and this is insight for anyone to say and not get taken advantage of since we are all hardworkers and are all doing the best that we can from the beginning of dealing with Cobblestone there were red flags and signs after reading other peoples reviews i decided to back out and i couldnt get my deposit back i was skeptical and very worries based off the history they have with other people online when i moved in i was paying over the amount of my rent so i could have finacial credit and things were still broken at the propety the fridge was not working propely it was freezing my food the blinds were broken and dirty the toilet in the big bedroom was moving off the ground the monoxide dector was taped to the wall and the outlet was cracked another outlet was coming out the wall and there was a safety hazard in the front of the home due to the concrete raising off the ground which was a trip hazard for anyone with a wheelchair or anyone walking for that matter so when i moved in i was allowed to move in with this not being taken care of prior also i ended up coming across a hardship during my stay which put me in a situation which caused me to ask for assisted housing section 8 i called Cobblestone text Cobblestone at the number they send messages from back and forth and i informed them in advance and asked if they take section 8 housing i was told yes and they told me to keep them posted eventually i got approved for housing while i was still paying my rent and i kept Cobblestone updated with anythjng in regards to housing and my situation on October 29th 2018 i contacted Cobblestone advised them i got my voucher and i was told i got approved even prior to this and i went down to the office to take the voucher section 8 housing ended up doing an inspection which is part of the routine and all the things above that were broken in property had to be fixed in accordance with their rules Cobblestone refused to fix anything which will then lead me to loosing my voucher which would intern make it hard for me to pay rent on top of having a lease with Cobblestone i was told that my voucher got approved i was told they were going to accept my voucher and they didnt follow through this caused stress and duress and caused me to believe that they were discriminating against me if im not able to pay rent and theyre refusing to fix the property and make it safe for their valued tenants then why would anybody want to live or rent from Cobblestone when it's not even ethical i was forced to go down to the courthouse to then issue Cobblestone with a 3 day noticed to fix property so for those of you who dont know that if a landlord is refusing to fix those of a saftey hazard you can issue a 3 day notice to get it repaired i didnt understand why i had to go as far to get a 3 day notice when they already approved my voucher they fixed the repairs and after the repairs were done i contacted section 8 so we can continue the process so my rent can get paid through the program of section 8 which section 8 helps families in need and Cobble stone property is aware of. I was stringed along, due to the repairs being fixed section 8 was then sent an email from me saying they had been taken care of. Section 8 informed me that Cobblestone had to contact them to let them know the repairs were done. Cobblestone had already approved my voucher but refused the repairs now they fixed the repairs and need to find out from owner to see if they can accept the voucher which helps them and helps me so now i find out that Cobblestone is refusing to accept the voucher which recently due to my medical condition i was not able to work. I had gotten a concussion. So now im going to be late on rent, im loosing my voucher due to the agreement from Cobblestone and i called on december 28th 2018 to inform them that im going to be late on my rent. I spoke with Wendy from Cobblestone. I specifically asked if Joyce was available she told me no when i asked Wendy who was the highest person in charge she stated she was so i began to tell her that im going to be late on my rent and i do not want to accur any late fees i told her about the voucher and she told me about other apartments and i told her im on my lease which she read more

First Lady I spoke to was quick to respond and helpful then I got transferred to a Karol who did not answer my e mail and told my husband my credit report came back n/a as if I did not have a credit report. Cobblestone is the worst property management company I have ever worked with. We rented an apartment for 2 years in Meridian and the move out was a nightmare. Their office staff are a bunch of liars, they withhold information and they nickle and dime renters. I just got off the phone with Alisa who outright lied to me and when I called her out on it, she hung up the phone on me. When I called back, she asked if our conversation was over. If I could give this company zero stars or a negative star review I would. I wholeheartedly agree with the two other reviews that gave this company a one-star review. This company was such a nightmare to work with that they deserve me taking time out of my schedule to review them, their practices, work habits, ethics, etc. In the beginning they were phenomenal and went out of their way to please us (me and my two roommates). We asked them to re-clean the house after showing it for as long as it had been vacant, etc. They happily obliged. We asked if they accept pets because one of us has allergies, and they said that the house had never had any pets. Their initial stipulations were: 1) the carpet would be cleaned prior to us moving in 2) no pets were allowed and hence, 3) no pets were ever in the residence 4) they had notated the damages prior to us moving in 5) they had two garage door openers 6) lawn care would be taken care of as well as landscaping 7) the neighbors were quiet, older folks who never caused any issues 8) they were a very strict company and wouldn't tolerate any mess ups Great! We signed the contract and moved in. The agent helping us resigned the following week. The first day after we moved in I was sitting on the carpet and thought that it was really high quality because their were fibers in it. I took a closer look only to discover that it was dog hair and the living room was filthy with it. My friend verified. I called my other roommate in to take a look at it. The entire three bedroom house was covered with dog hair beyond belief. We called the management company and they said that they didn't know how it was possible because they had the house cleaned once prior to us seeing it and once more after we decided to rent it. Still, they sent someone out the following day. While the man from this subcontracted company was cleaning I asked if it was his company that always did the cleaning for Cobblestone and he said yes. I asked if he knew if this house had been previously cleaned, and he said that from what he was cleaning and the amount that the vacuum was taking in that the house had not been cleaned in a long time. This is nasty but before this man started cleaning/steam cleaning, I personally vacuumed each room in the house and emptied the canister into a ziplock. Each bedroom and room in our 2000 sq. ft. home had one gallon size ziplock full of dog hair. My roommate's allergies were raging. We called Cobblestone and told them about the ziplocks and that we would gladly give them the bags or send them the photos that we took to document it. They said it wouldn't be necessary and that they would happily cover the cost to clean the house. Strike one! Next day, we asked about the garage door openers and they said that they had misplaced them and asked that we purchase two, save the receipt, and show it to them before paying the next month's rent so that they could deduct it from what we owed. Seriously? Strike two! Landscaping was done once that year and in the fall when all the leaves fell, they never sent anyone. We finally called and said that due to the high demand we could not have our lawn taken care of for another three weeks. We had two big old trees in our front lawn and the wind circulation blew all that mess up against our front door. We had a three feet high by about 10 feet round pile of leaves that blocked our entrance to the front door for almost two months. Strike three! The heater broke during the winter, that took a few days to fix. No rush, it's only 40 degrees outside. Strike four! Backtracking here, our neighbors were not civil older folks--they were four freaken college kids who partied it up every night. On multiple occasions we had to bang on the wall for them to lower their music or knock on their front door to tell them to please keep it down or get their car out of our driveway. What did Cobblestone say? Call the cops on them if they keep it up or call the towing company. So much for being strict. Strike five! As if all of this was not enough; the aforementioned are just the highlights of the nightmare we endured with this company. The highlight was terminating our lease. Our lease was set to end so we put in our 30-day notice. Upon moving out, Cobblestone Property Management charged us until we paid through the nose. They had the (insert adjective here:_________) nerve to charge us for the preexisting damages to the home, in addition to what we had added. We received $200 back out of our $1500 deposit. They sent us a comprehensive list of the damages to the house that they were going to have "repaired" or "replaced", but they "never received" the pre-inspection list that we turned in when we first moved in. They also "had no notes" to show that there were any preexisting damages. Our advice: stay away! Hopefully one day they are sued or the BBB decides to revoke their license. This company is horrible. I would never recommend this apartment complex to someone. The property managers are awful they will expect you to pay for almost everything. They do not clean the apartments or units before new tenants move in. After dropping a money order off one month for my rent they lost it and were taking shots at my credit due to the staffs negligence. Very rude women to deal with and not helpful at all. I read these as well as the reviews left on google before renting from Cobblestone so my expectations were not very high to begin with but after looking for another place with no luck I figured if I documented EVERYTHING extremely well and paid extra early every month I wouldn't have an issue. That was not the case. I took pictures of the damage and sent it to them before moving in and was still robbed of my deposit. I only lived in this unit for 8 months and was gone half of the time so I'm extremely frustrated. I emailed their team with a side by side picture of the document they had me fill out prior to moving in noting "any damages" that I had previously sent them next to the invoice of them charging for it and they will not respond now. It was only $800 and it's my fault for not listening to those who left reviews warning me but I hope no one rents from this company unless you really don't plan on getting your deposit back. I've sent a letter to the Bureau of occupational licenses and contacted the secretary of state. Hopefully this company gets exposed! read more

I can honestly say I wouldn't wish the treatment that myself and my family received while renting one of their properties....... ON SOMEONE I HATE. VERY VERY UNORGANIZED property management company. For instance, one month they posted a 30 day notice on our door, when we read this piece of paper we were IN TOTALLY DISBELIEF AS WE HAD PAID OUR RENT THROUGH THEIR DROP BOX LOCATED AT THEIR OFFICE THE DAY BEFORE! When we called to explain the mistake they had made they dang near called us liars, saying they didn't get it & they would go check their security cameras pointing towards the parking lot ( you could tell in the way the woman was speaking to us- she was assuming this would prove us liars) Needless to say, our phone rang less than an hour later with one of the ladies that work in the Boise office on the phone!!! She stated that she did she us pull up (during the time frame we gave her when we were there) and drop something in the drop box. Apparently whomever removed the payments from the box had misplaced our payment under a large envelope on her desk?!?!?! Another unprofessional manner a situation was taken care of was..... Our stove/oven (that came with the rental) went out....ON THANKSGIVING!!! :( We called them the next business day with this repair that was needed, they already behaved as if we were bothering them w/ this repair but, the TRUE nasty behavior came the day the "handyman" that Cobblestone uses, showed- to check the oven out!!! On his report that he sent back to Cobblestone he stated that this damage was our responsibility due to the front of the oven door/door handle was extremely loose, not normal wear and tear....likely from our children hanging, playing,abusing the appliance that was so bad it caused further damage to the heating unit. THIS WAS CRAZY! We noted in the "move-in" inspection report we filled out with pre- existing damages, scuffs, markings, description of the condition everything in the home was in, upon moving in.......That " OVEN DOOR IS EXTREMELY LOOSE" in the comment area next to the "RANGE" on this document!!! how could they believe, once seeing we noted the damage during move-in??? THEY REPLACED THE WHOLE STOVE W/ A BRAND NEW OVEN....... wot mentioning anything about payment so we figured that they saw that we couldn't have caused the damage. The following month we received a bill from Cobblestone for "OVEN REPAIR" @ $75.00! we never even responded to this bill for the remainder of our lease (aprox.7 months) THE ABSOLUTE LAST STRAW WAS WHEN WE WERE MOVING OUT, this past June. Approx. 6-8 days before we moved out of this property ( W. TOOELE DR. NAMPA, IDAHO 83686) the A/C went out & of course we called them and the woman had the nerve to tell my husband.. " WELL, IT'S UP TO THE OWNER IF HE'S GONNA SEND SOMEONE OUT TO FIX IT OR NOT" My husband was livid that this woman was seriously saying this....AND BEING DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT IT, She even added her disgusting humor and said, before they hung up "BE THANKFUL THAT THE NEXT FEW DAYS ARE ONLY GOING TO BE IN THE 80'S!!!!! she is well aware we have 5 Daughters living at home with us!!! 2 of the children are toddlers! TO SUM UP THAT PARTICULAR EVENT: we called a couple times each day asking about the status on the A/C repairs to hear "he hasn't approved anyone yet" and once she said " He is flying here in a couple days and will probably want to fix it himself, you know how anal he is" We are HAPPILY MOVED OUT AND CURRENTLY IN A SMALL CLAIMS SUIT WE FILED AGAINST THEM FOR KEEPING 97% OF OUR $1,300.00 IN DEPOSITS FOR GUESS WHAT?...... SOME IS THAT $75.00 OVEN REPAIR CHARGE, FOR THEIR HANDYMAN HAVING TO HAUL AWAY 2 LADDERS AND A SNOW SLED WE LEFT IN THE GARAGE??? OH MY FRIGGIN' GOSH!!!! .......We couldn't fit the ladders and sled in our final load when we moved so we left them, unloaded, turned in the keys, and drove back home. It was then we realized we turned in the keys before grabbing these last things from garage! So we called Cobblestone and told them we had left the items and would use the garage code to get in for these things and Kelsey said she had not changed the code yet so that was fine! .... in the list of bogus charges was THE HAULING OF 2 LADDERS AND A SNOW SLED, THEY EVEN PROVIDED PICTURES TO US OF THESE ITEMS!!! SO............we took a picture of the 2 ladders and sled that we have in our possession, along with the Idaho press tribune( for the date that's on the newspaper ) and their pictures of same ladders and sled!!!!.........it seems as if someone from Cobblestone went in the night it DID IN FACT get left behind until the following morning, WHEN MY HUSBAND AND I WENT AND PICKED UP THESE 3 THINGS!!!!!!! even being informed by us that we have those ladders and sled..........THEY REFUSE TO REIMBURSE THE CHARGES FOR HAULING THE ITEMS!!!!!???????? there are MANY CHARGES THAT I AM EASILY ABLE TO PROVE AREN'T TRUE-WHAT SO EVER!!!! Although, I have never rented from them, or ever been within 100 miles of their business, they texted my wife for no reason. Apparently someone got the wrong phone number, and with out ever contacting the number listed prior they say they are giving a 3 day eviction after rent is less than a week late, and when I spoke with them they said its a normal practice to not call, just text that you have 3 days to get out. No warnings or anything. My wife is a recovering schizophrenic, and we happen to have a niece named Ali, So their unwarranted and unsolicited text had enough credibility to cause her to panic, and looks like its setting off another episode. At minimum this will cause me a trip to her mental health professional, It may result in her third hospitalization in the last 12 months. That kind of disregard for common decency was enough to make me leave a warning to not use this company. When I have unpaid invoices, I don't send a threatening text to my customers, I call them and ask if there is a reason its late, and when should I expect payment. Most importantly I verify I have the right person first! On a separate note, I called a half dozen times, to the number in the text and the number the text came from. I didn't get an answer until the 7th call, and even then they said Elisa was unavailable. So the review that said they always answered the phone is fake, which furthers my opinion that they are disreputable. read more

Cobblestone is the worst property management. I was a good solid tenant for 4 and a half years. (When I first started renting it was through a different property mangement that later Cobblestone took over.) I paid my rent on time and never caused any issues. When it came time for me to buy a house they completely screwed me with the room mate I had found to taken over the lease. They charged me over $700 for cleaning and repairs after I had paid to professionally have it cleaned since I was forced to move out quickly and forfeit my deposit. From the beginning the company has been a terror to work with. When we were interested in a unit, they happily scheduled a showing; they failed to tell us that people were still living in the home and that we would have to enter their lives in order to view the property. (people were still asleep when we arrived and had to be woken to view, not Cobblestone's fault, but very unprofessional). Everything was great unless we needed something. The people who work at the office are short, rude. etc..When I called after the end of my lease to inquire about my deposit, I was told that I was "removed from the lease". I never signed any legal documentation and my lease was in effect until Aug. 31, 2015. I've dealt with two people, Betty and Alisa. Betty is nice, but always short and quick to get you off of the phone. Alisa is straight up RUDE. When I called her out on it, she immediately changed her tone. Why would you keep someone who has multiple complaints? I work in Property Management (for a company with over 2500 doors in the Treasure Valley)...I get it, we're busy, we have a lot to do, but your customers are the only reason your business keeps running. Why would you treat them poorly. We passed every maintenance inspection with flying colors, we were never late, we rarely (less than 2 times every six months) called to inquire about something in our apartment, so it is hard to understand why we were treated as such "problem" tenants. I know every story has 2 sides and I'd LOVE to hear their side, because this has been a nightmare. read more

**DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!** HORRIBLE, NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE!! I lived in a rental managed by this company for apox. 3 years. Always paid my rent. Kept the place looking great, never had any issues. We recently purchased a new home, prompting our move out. We busted our butts to make all the minor repairs so we would get SOME of our $700 deposit back. Boy was I wrong.. Couple weeks later I get an invoice from them say I ACTUALLY OWE them money. $440.23 was my remaining balance owed to them. Apparently they decided they were going to replace the linoleum in entire kitchen for this spot that appeared to be a burn mark of sorts. This mark in question it literally the size of my thumbnail and not visible when standing 5`8 tall. I documented this damage on the worksheet they give you when you move into a residence of theirs and turned it in. I did turn in this document myself. Now, magically its missing and their trying to make me pay for a $698.51 new kitchen floor that is being replaced due to a spot that is the size of my thumbnail. Its just crazy they would think its even ok. This was all done without even consulting a professional flooring person about the possibility of repair. After looking over the paper work they sent, They replaced the floor based off their general maintenance crew writing "This is not repairable by M&M" Implying that his company specifically can't repair it. This isn't surprising, since they ARE NOT FLOORING SPECIALIST! I disputed the charges and upon sending my dispute email, I requested for someone to simply let me know they received my dispute. Never got a response. Emailed them 3 more times, still no one responded. Sent copies of my email in the mail to them, still never got a response. Finally called them and asked for someone to PLEASE confirm receiving message. Lady was very rude and finally told me Yes, they got ALL of my messages, just never wrote back! I was irritated about this, but she completely dismissed my frustration never apologizing or anything. Anyways, they had an "Internal Investigation" to determine if charges were valid. (Do you think they ever actually reverse the charges with their "Internal Investigations"???) The results of the investigation?.. Dispute Denied! Naturally. They sent me to a collection agency and increased the amount I owed them by $220 and called it "Interest". $220.00 of interest in a period less than 30days?? It was just ridiculous. I am just blown away by how reckless they are with other's money. We are currently disputing the debt with the Collection Agency based off advise from our Lawyer. Sent them official dispute today. I'll go to court if I have to, this is just insane. NO ONE would replace an entire floor for this unless someone said. "Ill buy you a new floor." for free! This is literally the equivalent of tearing a wall out a house simply for a small nail hole. I wish I was actually exaggerating! We'll see how it turns out. I'm now in risk of damaging my credit, all for something we documented on the original damage worksheet! Again though, now they're unable to locate it (Lady I personally handed it to has now quit/fired/ect.). Seems to be really Convenient for them!. Stay clear of this company. Doesn't matter how great of a tenant you are or how loyal you have been to them, they will try to screw you over for your money in a heartbeat. I am a current cobblestone renter and when we moved in to our current residence we were promised a perfect place. They lied. The whole house was overgrown with weeds. There was an oil barrel and garbage left on the side of the house and a disgusting oil sludge animal feces spill. The house was filthy. The lawn was not even mowed. We had to clean it all up ourselves and we have had to fight tooth and nail to fix most problems since. Also as soon as out lease was up they sent us a notice telling us if we did not sign a 1 year lease they are going to increase our rent $25 a month. We are going to move out as soon as we can. Renter beware! We rented from this company for 3 years, when our lease was up they offered a new lease 1 year lease with a $ 35.00 increase or month to month with a $100.00 increase. We selected month to month as we where planning to purchase a house within the next 3 months. We where then told we had to sign an 8 month lease or be out in 30 days. Moving into another rental for 30-60 days was not practical so we signed the lease. When I gave our 30 days notice they wanted us to show the property for them during that 30 days so they would have no down time. When I refused they nickel and dimed us on moving out ($7.99 for 1 light bulb that I missed replacing). read more

These guys sent me a 1700 dollar bill after ther they kept my 700 dollar security deposit. You can't charge the tenants for maintnance that is clearly the homeowners responsibility. I'm not gonna pay to remodel the home of some Californian who uses these criminals to collect their rent. Quit writing your own positive reviews you clowns. Lady in the office seemed mean, all they care about is the money, not the customer. Anyway, moved in only to find out that there was only cold water, soon after found that there was a lot of dog hair. This was surprising especially after finding out that they don't allow pets. Worst company I've ever dealt with. They are liars and crooks. We were warned about them and have hired a lawyer to fight their absurd charges. When we moved out it was a huge headache and we had people come in and clean the place and and do maintenance so they could not say we didn't do something. Well low and behold they still said we didn't do some things. We received a huge itemized list of things they supposedly did. Well some of the things were on the pre move in checklist that weren't done prior to us moving in. So not our responsibility. Yet we were charged for them. We documented everything on our end and have proof of everything we did. They change their stories or one person will tell you one thing and another will tell you something else. Most dishonest company we have ever dealt with. Stay far far away. I think they expect people to just back off and let their crap slide. Not happening this time. Just document EVERY SINGLE THING before you move in and when you move out. They are straight up crooks! read more

we have been renters for 7 years. we recently had an inspection supposedly requested by the owner who we haventever seen or talked to. we had just cleaned our carpet and were told it was filthy and we violated our lease. we had to hire a private company for 171 dollars out of our own pocket .we are not even sure if thet will ve satisfied then. we paid at least a 500dollar deposit and when we move we wont get any of it back.what glorified slum lords. i will never recommend them. read more

I wish i could give them 0 stars if i could. In the ten years i have rented from a few different property i have never never had to deal with people who are so rude and unprofessional. We have had numerous indents where we had to deal with them while we lived there and not one was an ok excrescence. we called to get things fixed and would get a phone call 4 days later to get a water heater fixed. worst of the worst is them cashing a money order i dropped off at there office and then telling me they never received the money order and sent to collections and it was all in the same month they sent the bill. They refuse to answer phone calls or calling back when i get time in the half hour i got off of work and close. Now they are trying to make me pay extra 89 dollars in collection fees because cobblestone refuse to tell them they cashed it. + extra 25 to fax proof they cashed it. the the worst place i have ever worked with. Our landlord switched to Cobblestone Property Management mid-lease. We were not given a walk through list and were told to just write a letter stating any problems with the house. As part of the letter, we mentioned that two of the bedrooms didn't have blinds when we moved in. Two and a half years later we moved out, leaving the property far better than we found it. We were charged for the removal of debris that was in the shed when we moved it and for cleaning that I spent 2 days doing. We cleaned our way in and cleaned our way out. Since the dirty house and shed were not mentioned in our letter, we chocked that up to a learning experience and didn't argue. However, we were charged for new high-end blinds in the bedrooms. Elisa, the person I corresponded with on this was extremely rude and changed her story several times as to why the charges were so excessive. In the end, she admitted that they knew there were no blinds to begin with but since my letter didn't come within the 3 day window they give me for it, they would not refund my money. If you lease from Cobblestone, be sure to take a picture of every inch on your way in and out. Don't bother to clean because they will charge you for it. They will definitely do whatever they are legally allowed to do to cheat you. read more

I agree 0 is too much. I rented from this company for almost 4 yeas.. 50k , repairs required several request... and maybe they were done, maybe not. I just received a third of my deposit, and I . am so happy to not have to deal with them, I'm not sure I care... Rick Head is an owner and personal friend of my mom which is the only reason I am not taking them to court. When I asked him to help me out with the move in, the house was dirty, and debris left in the yard.. he actually complained to me he hadn't had a vacation in several months.. sorry I have 2 saint judes kids, I am just asking you to put a mirror in the bathroom..and keep your word on the condition of the home.. windows screwed shut, un inspected fireplaces, outlets tied off with painters tape. They left the cat peed carpet ,in the basement, and it was then my job to remove it.,,ik yuck.. I asked for a walk thru and was told they didn't have the staff.. so not my problems.. outrageous landscaping. Over a hundred debris bags in November....every year a problem with the sprinkler system. The last one filled the basement with water, and my sons and I cleaned it up.. the owners were unwilling to pay for an industrial fan to dry it off, and so we burnt our fans out, my son then suffered from dally migraines, until we moved.. I got billed for the water damage, paint, yard work, and carpet cleaning and stretching, which they should have done after the basement was flooded.. I also was charged for filters, for the furnace even though I left 3, and provided receipt for batteries for smoke detectors ect.. a renters deposit should not be a remodel fund.. and all that said.. I paid 4 extra days for the utilities.. These people make ridicules demands, cant provide even 2 hrs notice, refuse to repair anything in a timely manner.. and then bill the renter for it in the end.. btw I went the extra mile for the owner, paying to trim their yard, staining their fence.. I can't believe they would ever consider keeping my deposit. read more

My experience with Cobblestone has been nothing but positive! When I came to write a review I was shocked to see their low rating. We have been renting a home from Cobblestone for over two years now. They have been wonderful to work with! Their staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Their rental agreement is pretty standard. We've rented many homes all over the country and found their stipulations to be very fair. The house was immaculate when we moved in. We haven't had very many issues since living here but any questions or concerns that we have had have been handled in a timely manner. Their staff is very professional on the phone, and always does a stellar job. I would recommend them to anyone I know who is looking to rent a home/apartment. They're a reliable company that have been around for years. They have lots of experience and have treated my wife and I with nothing but respect and professionalism. read more
