I know I just reviewed them recently, but I had to come back and give more love because when the decision was made for my friends and I to attend a Game 4 Knicks watch party at Cobblestones, I was excited to make a trip back here. I got there early to snag a table, and the team was already hard at work with nearly the entire beergarden packed with fans. The hostess Jenna was an absolute rockstar all night - I don't think she stopped moving or smiling! Not only was she seating guests with poise and insane amounts of charm, but she was also running food and drinks to make sure guests weren't waiting for their orders - in fact, despite there being more than 250 people in the beergarden, we never waited more than 4 minutes for drinks and 12 minutes for food which is pretty impressive given how busy they were inside and outside. We were served by Lana, who legit might have been the nicest, friendliest, most engaging server I have ever met in New York City, and I am not being overly dramatic here. She handled her insanely large section with aplomb, took the time to actually learn our names and address us by names when asking if we wanted to order anything, checked in on us every few minutes even if we did not need anything, and despite likely being tired from all of the guests, the running of food and drinks, and the hustling, she was cracking jokes all night through her radiant and starry smile, and making our group feel like the most important people there despite the fact that we were just three regular dudes enjoying a basketball game. Her attentiveness and personality alone are worth requesting to sit in her section at all times. Food was solid on this trip - our table ordered a half-pound burger which was cooked and seasoned perfectly (came with fries and toppings), mozzarella sticks which were piping hot with a nice crunch on the exterior, waffle fries (had to get them again they were too good last trip), and honey BBQ wings, which although they weren't very meaty (not their fault since I am assuming they didn't butcher the wings in-house - could have just been a lean batch from the supplier), the sauce was addictive and delicious and I found myself dipping everything we ordered into it so it wouldn't go to waste - order the Honey BBQ! All beers came out cold and rapidly (Cobblestones uses plastic for half liter beers when the beergarden is saturated with guests, just be prepared for that - makes sense because of the volume). The rest of the staff was incredible given the chaos. Beergarden manager Pete made it a point to check in on us a couple of times and was very appreciative of all of the guests coming for the game, and you can tell he steers the ship effectively because everyone in the beergarden was focused, attentive, and in the zone during what many bars would be challenged to handle. One final thought - my two friends who came with me (who are NOT "let's go out drinking at night" type of guys) asked me when we are coming back for a Friday or Saturday night - they loved the atmosphere, loved the friendly service from Lana, and loved the food and drinks. Cobblestones used to make great burgers, sliders and other snacks but that was before the pandemic. Thanks to the high cost of labor, oil, meat, etc., the smashburger special I had was painfully lackluster. Small and tasteless, it sounded better on the menu. It came with a fried egg and bacon but didn't have any sauce. It tasted dry, worse than any fast food burger. I ate it because I was hungry but I wouldn't have it again. Cobblestones Pub is a lively Irish spot right on the border of Kew Gardens and Forest Hills, and it definitely delivers. They have a biergarten in the back which I haven't seen, but heard it is nice and expansive. The Pub has TVs everywhere you look. When we went, they had the Olympics, the Knicks Game, and UFC all at the same time. So, depending on where you were sitting, you would heat completely different reactions around you. It made for a fun time. Out waitress was very friendly. She was great when we interacted with her, but service timing felt a little off. Somehow, she wasn't around when we needed her, yet pop up when we didn't. It wasn't a bad experience. Just a bit strange. For food and drinks, we tried the Philly egg rolls, Polish Kielbasa was tasty and was recommended over the other sausage. The sangria tasted very watered down and almost non alcoholic. It was very sweet and refreshing. But I really couldn't taste any alcohol in it. Overall, food was solid and service was friendly. I would go back for the vibes. read more

Went to Cobblestone during the NBA Final 2026 first game! I was sat around the back of the garden & it was tilted down so wasn't the most comfortable. Returned for a second visit on Father's Day, and the experience was just as great as the first. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, the drinks were excellent, and the service was outstanding. I had a negative experience when visiting Cobblestones Pub. My friend and I arrived at 5pm on a Tuesday when the place was dead and we had many beers and appetizers. At 8pm when the Knicks game started, they asked us to sit across from each other (one of us facing the game/screen and the other with the back to the screen, which means that we wouldn't be able to talk and watch the game). When I politely tried to explain to the waitress that we had been there for 3 hours and just wanted to keep our seats so we could both watch the game facing the screen, she literally told us to "either move or leave." I had driven almost an hour to get there in order to meet with a friend I hadn't seen in a while but per bar rules we weren't allowed to sit next to each other to watch a game and talk because according to their "rules" if people sit on one side of a picnic table the other side becomes useless. Bohemian Hall beer garden in Astoria is 30 times the size of Cobblestone and they don't come up with these rules. I sent Cobblestones a complaint through their official Instagram page and they told me to get a life. (See attached photo). By this comment you can have a better idea about how they run business and how their immature manager communicates with customers. If you check other Yelp reviews you will see another customer was also told by their manager to "get a life". We are both in our 40s, we never cause any kind of trouble when we go to bars and we expected a better treatment. That's why we will NEVER go back to this place. They should treat their customers with more respect. My advice, stay away! read more

Went for a nice walk around our neighborhood and even though I have been to restaurant before I never went to the outdoor garden. It's so nice especially today on a super nice warm day. Hubby & I had a drink. I got a Rose instead of a margarita and hubby first hit a beer then a margarita so I took sips of his and the margarita is nice & strong! I liked my iced rose the best as recommended by waitress. Beautiful spot. There was a mix of folks from families with young kids as well as and older couple. Also since Queens is the most diverse place in the world lots of different cultures in there as well so it was super nice. We ordered a nachos which was pretty good but we wish they would have added some beans and olives otherwise pretty good & filling. Definitely coming back. read more

Finding parking street parking midday takes some time, so give yourself some extra time. If you're not paying attention, you may miss the entrance. Look for the restaurant grade sign on the door. Met some people for lunch. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was great. We shared a giant Bavarian pretzel... nothing much to say about it, it's a pretzel. I got the Philly cheese-steak egg rolls ($15) but wish I had gotten the Philly cheese-steak which comes with fries for $3 more... it would have been more filling. Since I was with a group that was going to split the bill I didn't order anything additional to the Philly cheese-steak egg rolls. When the bill came, I tried using Scan & Split app for the bill, but the total was off. At first I thought something was wrong with the app but when I used the calculator to total the items on the bill, the total on the check was $2 higher. Caution if you are BIPOC - Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience I visited this establishment on 9/25 with a group of friends to celebrate a white coat ceremony, and unfortunately the service we received was extremely disappointing. From the start, we were told we could not order drinks directly at the bar and bring them back to our table -- something I've never encountered at any other restaurant or bar. (The establishment was empty) Our assigned server was inattentive, unprofessional, and never introduced herself. At one point, we discovered she had gone on break without notifying us or arranging for another staff member to cover our table, which left us completely neglected. At any reputable establishment, communication and coverage are standard practice. When it began raining, we had difficulty getting assistance to relocate. After several attempts, we have to find a way to relocate by speaking to other guests. However, when our original server eventually reappeared, she repeatedly passed our table without acknowledging us. Only when we waved her down did she approach, and her response was dismissive and rude -- telling us, "you're not in my section anymore," and making inaccurate claims that we had refused help from other staff. This was both untrue and unacceptable. Regardless of "sections," paying customers deserve to be acknowledged and treated with respect. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and overall disregard for us as guests left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. Worst Customer Service Ever I reached out to this place asking a simple question about whether they were hosting a Super Bowl event, and instead of a polite response, I got BLOCKED on Instagram. When I followed up via email, I received an unprofessional and rude reply from the owner claiming their Instagram was "hacked" while also accusing me of "bashing" them on Yelp. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, they resorted to personal attacks. This is hands down the most unprofessional and immature way to run a business. If they can't even handle a simple customer inquiry without resorting to blocking and insults, I can only imagine the kind of service they provide in person. Went here for an Insta Cart meet n greet. Loved it. Fell in love with the spot. Doesn't like ok like much from outside. But when you walk in it's like wow . You have the bar / sit down in front. More seating back area and side spot for bigger party seating arrangements. Best part is the yard where the events happen like "October Fest". Who knew this Biergarten was this big right here in Forest Hills! I guess only me because the place was hopping. And it's for good reason, because they have great beer on tap (my favorite was there, Hoegarten) and delicious food. We were in the mood for picky food so we got the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls and wings. There is a sweet chili sauce on the egg rolls that is definitely not needed, but was delish all the same. The wings were on point! All went well with my beer! Finally, because we had a super sweet tooth this day, we had the chocolate cake. Pleasantly surprised with how good this was. Met my buddy here for a few beers and some food before heading to Citi Field for a Mets vs Phillies game. It wasn't crowded so our service at the bar was excellent. Best part for me was the ice cold Stella on tap. It was a warm early afternoon, so that cold beer was very refreshing. I wasn't terribly hungry so I just had Mozzarella Sticks to eat. I wish I could say they were really good, but they were just ok. The sticks themselves were pretty tasty, but the sauce was way too watery. Come here to meet up with a few friends for brunch and to catch some of the March Madness basketball games. I personally ordered the Spicy Breakfast Burrito ($17), which came with home fries. Overall tasted good and was filling. Also ordered a Peach Bellini ($7) which went by quick. Service was the only issue. At the beginning, the waitress for some reason did not want to seat us in the back where it was a lot more sunlight than the dark areas by the bar area. She finally gave in after we kept persisting. Once the place got busy, it was impossible to get ahold of the waitress. When we were attempting to get the check, she ended up forgetting when the rare opportunity came to get her attention, we had to remind her again. My go to Happy Hour spot. They have happy hour Monday to Friday from 4-7. Beers on draft and well cocktails are $5. That's a steal! They serve Tito's, Jack Daniel's and Bacardi for their well drinks. The wings are also half off and are really tasty. The rest of the food menu is solid. They also have Taco Tuesday specials with decent tacos. Definitely get the quesadillas instead. During the summer their biergarten is an awesome place to hang out. They also have heated greenhouses in the colder months, but are only available to parties of 4 or more. Came here for a drink Sunday evening at 10pm. We wanted to sit outdoors and was told the kitchen closed for outside but we can order food inside but would have to eat inside. Also told outdoor seating would be closed at 11pm. Ok no problem. Last call was at 10:30, my bf ordered a drink. At 10:45 we were told to go inside. We said we thought we can stay until 11. Came here for a friend's birthday and sat in the biergarten in the back. You can't beat the happy hour prices, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The drink selection was great, and the food was also pretty good - I had the giant pretzel (which was huge and perfectly cooked), the chips and guac, and the chicken tacos as it was a Taco Tuesday. The place is large, menu is diverse. Unfortunately I gave this place two tries and both are distasteful. First- I organized a company event here actually given the large space. Their group price was 60pp- included 2 drinks and appetizers. Drinks were only regular ones no special mix. only one round of appetizers came right at the beginning. All became cold within half hour and when asked for another round, we were told coldly by the waitress that's everything included. In the groups opinion the portion was not nearly enough for the group size, not to mention the price we paid. No management ever came by knowing how unhappy we were. My work place still talk about this time to time how awful the experience was. Second time- I came here with a group, I had my outside drink(bubble tea, nothing alcoholic) with me. I was told that I have to toss it even though I asked if I can place it on the side. It's 2pm, not packed. I honestly had much better experience at other pubs in the area. Example- I was recently at Stationhouse for another organized company event and they never gave an issue about my drink and my group had a great time there. It never changed the amount of expenses we were going to make anyway, but the rigidity in rules leave people in sour tastes. I'm sure their business is going well but they will not get my business and company events here again. read more
