The set up here is cool and vintage looking but when I went it was really loud I was thankful I had earplugs on me. It was hard to talk over the music but it did eventually lower down. I really enjoyed the food here! The steak was cooked well and the Mac and cheese was soooo gooey. The nachos were also delicious. I did order a Diet Coke that was flat and didn't have enough syrup in it so I'd recommend their beer selection as they have plenty of options there. The service is okay but food totally makes up for it!

Had some great comfort food here at Station House (the Stout Flatbread and Fried Cheesy Nuggs). Both were delicious. Wish this place was a little cozier, but other than that, no complaints. Great service, food and drinks.

I haven't been here since after Covid. The crowd and the atmosphere are the same. I didn't see the list of the different beers on tap on the screen. I see a lot of TV screens with the football game on. The service was good. I ordered three old fashioned and I asked for a prefer bourbon. Two drinks I got the bourbon I wanted but the third, the bartender gave me the house bourbon. I was looking at the game but I was watching. Besides that one blemish I would come back again.

I came over a few weekends ago with my book club to discuss our book club pick. I found out about this place since it's conveniently located near the LIRR. I was very impressed with order. I had the Spiced and Stormy for my drink. It was delicious. The waitress was very helpful and polite. I had the gyro empanadas for my appetizer and they were a game changer. It was flavorful and well prepared. For my entree I had the Turkey Grill BLT with coleslaw and a side of fries. My food was delicious. I would definitely visit this establishment again. It wasn't noisy and they played good music. I'll tell people to come pay this place a visit.

This place is an institution in Forest Hills. It's a great place to start the night or for a yummy meal before hitting other bars or heading into Manhattan as the train is right there. Service is great, and I appreciated the drink recommendations. On this visit we tried two of the fall specialty cocktails. They did not disappoint. The music is sometimes loud, but it fits this place. I had the poutine with brisket and am never disappointed with the menu.

We were in the mood for burgers, so we went for burgers. Unfortunately, there's only two options on the menu. Bacon cheddar burger, and the decadent burger. The burgers were pretty good, well cooked, but could've used some more fries. They're pretty stingy with the fries. I think I would've preferred the bacon cheddar burger since I didn't really enjoy the brisket on the decadent burger. But that's just a me thing.

We stopped in for a quick drink while waiting for our train. The staff were super friendly and drinks and service was quick. They also played really good updated music

I think I've always avoided this spot because I knew how popular it was and just wasn't up for facing a crowd at times. So sad it took this long to get here. The food is really, really good. And the menu itself is super different. The Mexican street corn style fried shrimp had a kick and I wasn't mad about it. The pretzel was good, but pretty generic. The scotch bonnet sliders took the gold medal thought. They were fire. A slight kick but super flavorful. The place itself is pretty standard. High top tables are stationed to the right when you walk in. Nice size bar which makes the best drinks. The Pulp Fiction was a hit. What's in it, I don't know but it did the trick. And it's named after one of my favorite movies. Our server was wonderful and came in clutch with the recommendation. Would definitely fight a crowd to come back here.

Ate here last night for dinner with my Girlfriend. The bar has an awesome vibe to it and plays great music. Our server came over quickly and took our drink order. We ordered the Pretzels with mustard as an appetizer which was delicious. For our dinner we got Quesadillas and the Grilled Cheese sandwich with carmelized onions. Everything was delicious. I look forward to our next visit!

Station house is in a great location, right outside of the LIRR stop and two blocks from the train station. I went there for the first time to meet a friend. The server at the door was really nice and approachable. My friend was a few minutes late so I decided to order a drink while I wait. I ordered the Summer Country old fashioned and it was AMAZING! The rosemary stem that was in there was smoked so it gave the drink depth and the ice tea was a little sweet, overall was a good combination. I ended up having three of them. For food I ordered the impossible tacos, which were a great size and very flavorful with a side of cajun fries. I loved the cajun seasoning they used on the fries. For $9, the fries could have been larger. My friend ordered the chicken nacho and seemed to love them. He said it was seasoned well and was a good size. Station House has a great vibe to it. Definitely some where I could go often if I were in that neighborhood.

Been here a bit now - for some drinks, for food, and for a combo of both. We've enjoyed our experience each time we've been! They have a drink for everyone (tons of beer options), and food options for all. Great spot, typically room every time we've went (and we've just walked in). Think they have outdoor space in the nice weather too.

While scrolling through google to find somewhere to have brunch on our drive back from the city , I came across Forest hills station house. Saw the reviews and the pics of the food, what more could I asked for! While driving around for 20 mins looking for parking finally on our last attempt we were fortunate to get a park just half a block to the restaurant. Got seated and got served. My drink was tasty and hit the spot and our meal was delicious. The Cheeros was so good!

Forest Hills Station House is a fun place to eat and drink with friends and was surprisingly very busy on a Thursday night. We went with friends and spent $288 here -- I didn't get a chance to take pictures like I usually do because I had such a good time. From what I can recall: the Brussel sprouts/broccoli were perfectly cooked, the jumbo wings were hot and juicy, and the decadent burger was really good. The braised beef brisket definitely overpowered the burger patty and Boursin cheese but it was still super savory. And how could you go wrong with truffle fries? (The onion rings here are also delicious and crunchy). The drinks here are great, my boyfriend's iced espresso had a good coffee flavor, then you get the alcohol, and then it finishes sweet. Another fun drink we ordered was Thirty, Young, and Dirty, and if you love beets you will enjoy this drink. You get fresh beet juice, basil infused gin, lime, and a bite of ginger. Super refreshing. I would love to come back during happy hour and try more of their menu!

    Do you take reservations?

Not really. They are good on walk ins

    Are there high chairs?

    No, they have wooden stools.

Is there parking on the street?

It'll be tough to get parking there. I'd recommend parking on queens Blvd.

    Is there ever live music?

Not that I know of. The place is small and the times I've been there I've never seen a live band.

Is this place busy on Tuesday nights? Do they take reservations?

this place is always busy every night of the week.

Any feedback on football Sunday here? Specifically is it easy to get any game on a TV and how are the prices?

Honestly I do not know the answer. I usually go there when visiting mom, never been there game day

Does this place have a space for a party?

Yes i believe so maybe not too big I can't to really give numbers but 40 to 50 people I guess you have to call

Does this bar have a happy hour? If so, what days and times? What are the deals like?

Yes they do. Weekdays, 12PM-6PM. $2 off all drafts, signature cocktails, and glasses of wine. Not the BEST happy hour, but the drinks are good.

Are the fried chicken livers served anymore?

I was there last weekend and it wasn't on the menu. But I'd call them to confirm.

The chairs are really small so it might not be comfortable for most. Also, our table was very wobbly so we moved to another one and that one ended up being wobbly too. I got there early to snag a table, and the team was already hard at work with nearly the entire beergarden packed with fans. The hostess Jenna was an absolute rockstar all night - I don't think she stopped moving or smiling! Not only was she seating guests with poise and insane amounts of charm, but she was also running food and drinks to make sure guests weren't waiting for their orders - in fact, despite there being more than 250 people in the beergarden, we never waited more than 4 minutes for drinks and 12 minutes for food which is pretty impressive given how busy they were inside and outside. We were served by Lana, who legit might have been the nicest, friendliest, most engaging server I have ever met in New York City, and I am not being overly dramatic here. She handled her insanely large section with aplomb, took the time to actually learn our names and address us by names when asking if we wanted to order anything, checked in on us every few minutes even if we did not need anything, and despite likely being tired from all of the guests, the running of food and drinks, and the hustling, she was cracking jokes all night through her radiant and starry smile, and making our group feel like the most important people there despite the fact that we were just three regular dudes enjoying a basketball game. Her attentiveness and personality alone are worth requesting to sit in her section at all times. Food was solid on this trip - our table ordered a half-pound burger which was cooked and seasoned perfectly (came with fries and toppings), mozzarella sticks which were piping hot with a nice crunch on the exterior, waffle fries (had to get them again they were too good last trip), and honey BBQ wings, which although they weren't very meaty (not their fault since I am assuming they didn't butcher the wings in-house - could have just been a lean batch from the supplier), the sauce was addictive and delicious and I found myself dipping everything we ordered into it so it wouldn't go to waste - order the Honey BBQ! All beers came out cold and rapidly (Cobblestones uses plastic for half liter beers when the beergarden is saturated with guests, just be prepared for that - makes sense because of the volume). The rest of the staff was incredible given the chaos. Beergarden manager Pete made it a point to check in on us a couple of times and was very appreciative of all of the guests coming for the game, and you can tell he steers the ship effectively because everyone in the beergarden was focused, attentive, and in the zone during what many bars would be challenged to handle. One final thought - my two friends who came with me (who are NOT "let's go out drinking at night" type of guys) asked me when we are coming back for a Friday or Saturday night - they loved the atmosphere, loved the friendly service from Lana, and loved the food and drinks. The answer? very soon! Thank you Cobblestones!
