This is a lovely dim light at night spot, next door to Low Key Gardens Lounge. Located on Austin Street, Forest Hills. All of the staff were friendly and kind. The door man even did a dance as me and my friend walked in. The manager made sure we were good. The place is not a huge place. It is small and quaint. The music was loud but not crazy loud. I could hear my friend. I didn't see many options for large crowds. I enjoyed my quesadilla and drink. I had the purple passion drink. You can taste the flowery taste. I love the aesthetic touch of the logo on the foam of the drink.

This is a nice restaurant with fun vibe and a great happy hour with lots of choices. Happy hour is half price appetizers and signature drinks. The food was delicious, wings were crispy and well sauced, quesadillas were amazing and the guacamole was fresh. The service was only okay, our waitress could have been more attentive. We ended up order from the bartender.

We went around 5pm on a Friday for drinks and some "tapas" because we saw the Happy Hour drink specials. Ended up ordering non-discounted cocktails. We didn't know the nachos, teriyaki salmon skewers and steak skewers were half price. I was disappointed by the nachos but really liked the skewers. The noise level got really loud by 6 when the place filled up -- I couldn't even hear my husband across the small table from me. That was the reason I may not go back.

Came to check out this spot last night, last minute happy hour and the aesthetics are incredible, it's all social media ready for your pictures! Drinks and food were good. You have to try the Forest Kick drink, it's delish; the mini chicken empanadas, chicken nachos and the churrasco skewers were delicious Go and check it out and enjoy!!!

Very intimate spot with delicious tapas style treats and signature drinks. Stopped by at 5PM for a quick bite and this spot did not disappoint. The churrasco skewers and chicken sliders are a must. Will be stopping by more often here. Thank you to Angelica for being attentive and quick.

They did a great job renovating the space! I went here when it was ripe juice bar. Its super cute and intimate inside. Great for grabbing drinks and a quick bite! The happy hour deal is 50% off the menu which i thought was great and the portions are a good size. Tiffany was our server and she was great despite her being the only server and it was busy! I'll def be back soon. Please note its not a huge space so don't come with a huge group! More for intimate group sizes.

A great addition to the neighborhood. The bites are delicious and the happy hour special's great. The staff is nice and accommodating, too.

Fortunately, the food was delicious and service was impeccable. We ordered 4 entrées to share and enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Half-Baked Chicken. The skin was so crispy and the chicken so tender. The Braised Short Rib was also really good and the crispy Brussels sprouts that come with it were the perfect amount of crispy. The other dishes we ordered were good too. We finished everything down to the last grain of rice. The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. The space is clearly designed for photos, and I can see why it would be popular for birthdays, showers, or other special occasions. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

We tried to make reservations for 6:30pm, but it gave us an error message that the time had been taken already, so I was assuming that the restaurant would be packed, but it was the opposite when we walked in. There were only two other people there. So I would definitely look into their reservations system. For drinks, I went for the mango margarita. 10/10 recommend the drinks. My margarita was delicious. their cocktail menu looks super fun, they have drinks that come out in little bathtubs and cute presentations. For food, we shared the ahi tuna tostada appetizer which was so good! super fresh and flavorful. For our mains, I got the chicken al pastor tacos (loved the flavors, especially the avocado crema) and he ordered the carne asada tacos, which were also packed with flavor. Portion-wise, for the price, you get three tacos, so it felt very reasonable. The tacos were definitely a hit for both of us. The only small downside was the service towards the end. everything started out great, but once we were done, it took a while to actually get the check and pay. Kinda funny how it took longer to leave than it did to get served. Not a huge deal, but just something to keep in mind if you're on a schedule..they definitely don't rush you out. Overall great vibes, great food, great drinks. I would absolutely come back!

I hate to bring down a mom 'n' pop shop, but this place isn't very good. It's also kinda pricey for Forest Hills and for the quality you get. Sigh. The best dishes we got were the Oxtail Croquettes and the Crispy Salmon. Things started going downhill at the pretty but bizarrely flavored Forest Hills Roll, which inexplicably pairs salmon, tobiko, orange, chives, avocado sauce, and teriyaki mayo. I appreciate a creative/fusion roll, but salmon and orange should never, ever exist on the same plate. Ever. The worst item we got was the Chicken Udon. I'm not sure how aany Asian restaurant could mess up such a staple dish, but in Daikon's case, it's because they used Japanese SOUP udon, not stir-fry udon. As soon as the plate was set, I could tell it was the wrong type of udon, and the udon was massively overcooked. Yes, there are different types of udon and they are meant to be cooked in different ways. They are identifiable by their shapes, storage needs and preparation needs, a memo Daikon clearly missed. Points for loading the dish with veggies, but eating them within the soggy mess of udon was just unpleasant.
