Cochran's Automotive Detailing was a splendid find recommended through the next-door app. Being new to the area we are thankful for the recommendations we have received, everyone has been spot on and Cochran's delivered a service that I really don't think can be beat. We needed a detailer as we found mold in our 2007 Honda Odyssey, besides the mold we have 3 little kids 7 and under, so you know how it goes, crumbs galore spills and more. The more always scares me, who knows that it is? Their communication through phone and text was fantastic, able to give a quote a head of time and get an appointment as well and with humor too, gotta love humor anytime but especially during a pandemic. Make sure you get an appointment as I think that is the only way to get your car serviced. Mr. Cochran came right out when we pulled up (had a mask on) and took care of everything. You don't have to clean the car ahead of time, they clean all that out and put it in a bag for you when you get back and pick up. The car was done the day off within 4 hours and they did the inside and out and it looks absolutely great. And for the price, you can't beat it, love the personal touch Mr. Cochran brings, he even offered his recommendations for Dayton, once he knew we were knew. He said call me anytime, I can recommend lots of places for you. My car hasn't looked this good since I bought it! I had lost faith in my old car detailing place in Oakwood by Marion's and have tried a few others around town that I thought were just OK. I am so happy to have found this place. I have already started recommending it to all my friends and family. I think their main business comes from detailing cars for dealerships which shows in the quality of work they did on my car. You also can't beat the price! They are also kind enough to do a military​ discount! The kindness​ of the owner squeezing me in on a random day I had off work, the quality of work and killer price will keep me coming back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ***They recently moved their business from Centerville to Moraine. It can be a tiny bit confusing if you're using your GPS to get there. Chose Cochran's for the reviews and because they are close to home. Having now met Terry and having had a very, very pleasant conversation with him, I would have gone with him even if there were no reviews. Not that folks that grew up in Dayton, like Terry (and I'm guessing his crew), are "necessarily" better than others at what they do, that's usually the smart bet. I am giving my 2005 Toyota Camry to my grandson and wanted it to look nice. Not only did Terry and his crew do a terrific job on the outside and inside of the car, when I raised the hood yesterday to do some final engine work, I saw that they had also cleaned (really, detailed) the engine bay. My fiance brought my van in here to get detailed inside and out as a birthday gift to me...I couldn't believe what a great job they did!! They managed to buff out a few minor scratches and my van has never looked nicer. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff is super friendly as well. I am trying to sell my car. I've washed and vacuumed it a few times but it still looked a bit too warn. The seats were my biggest concern. I also have three dogs who have all been in the car at times. After doing some research, I decided to give Cochran's a try. I can't tell you how happy I am with the work that they did on my car. It far exceed all of my expectations. The seats, which had looked warn and a bit on the dirty side, look great now. They cleaned every inch of the car and got the dog hair out of every crevice. They had the car all day because it needed that much work. I thought that the price was more than fair. My husband I I decided we might bring our cars here every year to just give them a once over. All of the people here worked so hard and were also able to clean my car without using chemicals that have strong smells or fragrances (due to my allergies). They were very accommodating. The only problem I had was finding the place. They are located behind some other buildings. Follow the signs for the Flower Man(I think that was the name) and Cochran's is located all the way to the left on the side of the building. On Thursdays and Fridays they put out orange cones blocking their entrance so just pull up to the cones. As the previous reviewer suggested, I would plan to leave your car all day. read more

I pride myself on taking good care of my cars. I use higher-end care products and top-notch accessories to give my cars a luster. I even clay bar my cars when my shoulder feels "up to it." But I can say, without exaggeration, Cochran's Detailing made my 3-year-old Mazda look showroom new. I was pleasantly stunned at the high detail cleaning my car received. Outstanding work for a relatively unknown business! I had interior cleaning and detailing for our 2006 Honda Pilot and was very pleased with the work...car looks like a brand new vehicle! Pricing was lower than the other auto detailing shops in the Dayton area. Many auto dealerships utilize Cochran's services, so you know this a place that will be in business for the long run. The only negative was my car was not ready at the scheduled pick up time and I had to come back later. However, Terry Cochran (owner) gave me a discount for the inconvenience. Also, the shop is difficult to find and is located in back side of some small businesses I suggest leaving your car for the whole day. I needed to trade in my SUV, and it definitely needed some major TLC prior to doing so. After calling around for quotes in both Dayton and Cincinnati, Cochran's had the best price for a full interior/exterior detailing. I was told that other places were booking weeks and even months in advance. I needed a quick turnaround since I was traveling out of town to trade in and pick up my new vehicle. The owner was friendly, helpful, and got the job done in the time frame that I needed. My SUV is 13 years old and it looks like new. For the price, quality of service, and customer service, this place can't be beat! My only minor complaint is that the strong scent of the shampoo/cleaning supplies gave me a slight headache, but I've been driving with the windows down to offset the smell...no big deal!
