One of the…read moreowners sits on the Board there, but I really haven't had an opportunity to see his company in action until I was in charge of putting on the Covina Business Gala 2026. This event is the Chamber's installation of the Board, while also recognizing the Business of the Year, the Small Business of the Year, and the NPO of the Year. I have attended this event for the last 4-5 years, and it was always the same, templated event. So, when I was put in charge, I wanted to level it up. I worked with one of our fellow Board members to craft an elevated, theme 1920's event with live music, cigar lounge, cigar girl, and some immersive experiences. This is where 100 House stepped in... and I was so happy they did. They helped us build out our Cigar Lounge with plush seating and fire pits, set up a dynamite stage and backdrop, provided beautiful seating for dining, and helped create a one-of-a-kind entryway as a photo op experience. Wow! They worked with me at every stage, provided a layout, and were on the dot with my production schedule. Their set-up team was stellar and had so much hustle, like it was their event. And, the strike team came back after the event and left the space as if they were never there. I will absolutely be using Hundred House again for all of my events this year... and hopefully for years to come.

Janeth and her team were super calm and quickly turned my home into a total oasis. Everything was absolutely perfect and on time even with the rain delay. She was also able to provide a canopy with enclosed heaters that created the perfect place for our adult guests to hang out. I am totally amazed at the attention to even the smallest details - everything from the beautiful cake, character pinatas and the hand made Moana sailboat (she actually created!) made everything feel so polished and amazing! She completely nailed the Moana theme down. Everyone had rave reviews about the food. Janeth took care of all the catering for the event - cake, desserts, drinks, delicious NY steak, Hawaiian bbq chicken and amazing sides. I'm so thankful that she was able to handle every aspect of the party. She even found a Moana children's entertainer that all the kids and adults truly enjoyed. All my guests were beyond impressed and my goddaughter was over the moon for her party. This was my first time working with a professional event planner and it allowed me and my family to actually enjoy the party (and not stressed over executing ourselves). Janeth was so reassuring and handled everything beyond my expectations. Definitely will be hiring LunaMoon Events again!

Honest Review I…read morehonestly would not recommend this venue, especially if you are planning a larger wedding. The wedding planner was extremely unorganized and seemed all over the place. The day before the wedding, when my sister was supposed to have her rehearsal, the wedding planner was nowhere to be found. On top of that, the venue was not set up the way they had previously agreed upon. Our families ended up having to rearrange chairs and tables themselves because there wasn't even an aisle for my sister to walk down! The venue is also much smaller than advertised for the number of guests they claim it can hold. We were told that up to 150 people could fit, but in my opinion, there is absolutely no way 150 people should be in that space. We were packed in like sardines, and it was incredibly hot. The AC did not seem like it was working properly, and we asked multiple times for the temperature to be lowered. If they did adjust it, it was only by a few degrees and it made very little difference. Accessibility was another major issue. There was no wheelchair-accessible entry upstairs. Guests who needed walkers or wheelchairs basically had to be helped or carried up the stairs because there was no accessible way for them to get upstairs. While that may have been something we should have considered more during planning, I still feel that a wedding venue should have some type of accessibility for guests with disabilities or mobility issues. Also, having to carry decorations, supplies, and other items up and down the stairs was a lot of unnecessary work. My sister also paid extra for the photo booth. We only got to use it for maybe 30 minutes before the iPad died. When we asked about it, we were told we would have to wait two hours before it could be used again. That was extremely disappointing considering it was an additional expense. The bar situation was another problem. There was only one bartender for around 150 guests, so the lines were ridiculous and people were waiting forever for drinks. The bartender herself was great and handled everything as well as she possibly could, but one person was simply not enough. I feel like this is something the wedding planner should have addressed. There also seemed to be a lot of miscommunication from the wedding planner. Even on the day of the wedding while things were being set up, she seemed more concerned with showing the space to another potential customer than focusing on my sister and her wedding. When someone is spending thousands of dollars on one of the most important days of their life, I feel like the bride and groom should have the planner's full attention. There were also issues with the other vendors. The photographer was still setting up lighting literally five minutes before the ceremony while guests were sitting and waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle. The DJ was subpar as well. He rushed through things and would not change the music even after several people, including the bride, asked him to. Overall, the entire experience felt overcrowded, disorganized, and poorly coordinated. There were way too many issues for a wedding that cost thousands of dollars. Maybe this venue could work for a much smaller, more intimate wedding, but I would definitely recommend hiring your own outside wedding planner, if that is an option. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this venue.
