Honest Review I honestly would not recommend this venue, especially if you are planning a larger wedding. The wedding planner was extremely unorganized and seemed all over the place. The day before the wedding, when my sister was supposed to have her rehearsal, the wedding planner was nowhere to be found. On top of that, the venue was not set up the way they had previously agreed upon. Our families ended up having to rearrange chairs and tables themselves because there wasn't even an aisle for my sister to walk down! The venue is also much smaller than advertised for the number of guests they claim it can hold. We were told that up to 150 people could fit, but in my opinion, there is absolutely no way 150 people should be in that space. We were packed in like sardines, and it was incredibly hot. The AC did not seem like it was working properly, and we asked multiple times for the temperature to be lowered. If they did adjust it, it was only by a few degrees and it made very little difference. Accessibility was another major issue. There was no wheelchair-accessible entry upstairs. Guests who needed walkers or wheelchairs basically had to be helped or carried up the stairs because there was no accessible way for them to get upstairs. While that may have been something we should have considered more during planning, I still feel that a wedding venue should have some type of accessibility for guests with disabilities or mobility issues. Also, having to carry decorations, supplies, and other items up and down the stairs was a lot of unnecessary work. My sister also paid extra for the photo booth. We only got to use it for maybe 30 minutes before the iPad died. When we asked about it, we were told we would have to wait two hours before it could be used again. That was extremely disappointing considering it was an additional expense. The bar situation was another problem. There was only one bartender for around 150 guests, so the lines were ridiculous and people were waiting forever for drinks. The bartender herself was great and handled everything as well as she possibly could, but one person was simply not enough. I feel like this is something the wedding planner should have addressed. There also seemed to be a lot of miscommunication from the wedding planner. Even on the day of the wedding while things were being set up, she seemed more concerned with showing the space to another potential customer than focusing on my sister and her wedding. When someone is spending thousands of dollars on one of the most important days of their life, I feel like the bride and groom should have the planner's full attention. There were also issues with the other vendors. The photographer was still setting up lighting literally five minutes before the ceremony while guests were sitting and waiting for the bride to walk down the aisle. The DJ was subpar as well. He rushed through things and would not change the music even after several people, including the bride, asked him to. Overall, the entire experience felt overcrowded, disorganized, and poorly coordinated. There were way too many issues for a wedding that cost thousands of dollars. Maybe this venue could work for a much smaller, more intimate wedding, but I would definitely recommend hiring your own outside wedding planner, if that is an option. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this venue. read more

Unfortunately, our experience with this venue was very disappointing, especially considering it was such an important occasion--my sister's wedding. The planning process was also frustrating due to the coordinator repeatedly changing the scheduled rehearsal time. This made it difficult for everyone involved to plan accordingly and created unnecessary confusion and stress leading up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the DJ did not properly announce the newlyweds when they made their entrance, which was disappointing and took away from what should have been a very special moment. We also found the coordinator to be very unprofessional and unhelpful when we asked questions about the setup and how things were being arranged. The biggest issue, however, was the temperature inside the hall. With approximately 100 people in the space, it was extremely hot and remained around 80°F. When we brought the issue to the coordinator's attention, she repeatedly stated that the AC was already set as low as possible. Unfortunately, the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout the event. We understand that not everything goes perfectly at an event, but we expected better communication, professionalism, organization, and attention to the comfort of the guests--especially for a wedding. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we hope the venue takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements for future events. read more

The "wedding planner" was absolutely awful very unorganized never made enough time for me and my crew at the rehearsal and on the day of. Everything felt extremely rushed they just wanted us out of there even though we paid for 3pm to 12am and they started taking stuff down and packing things up by 11pm, the ac did not work at all whatsoever guests were going into the bathroom to try to get more air and the staff would turn the ac off in there as well. There was a lot of missed traditions that I will never be able to get back. As the bride it was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with anything in my life. I had the pleasure of booking Casa de Sanchez for my Baby Shower. Baby Showers usually take place on Sundays. At first I was reluctant to book because it is pricer than a community center, etc. After some thought we went for it, the venue is beautiful, so modern, and really doesn't need much decor because the venue is so pretty. Everyone loved it, kept asking us how did we hear about this place. Sam assisted us with the process. They have a Bartender, security, and one thing I really loved was that they cleaned/cleared the tables. This was such a plus, made the process of cleaning so much easier. Had the pleasure to book our company Christmas party here yesterday. Sam was very helpful with getting the contract done. My employees had a blast. They provided the Charcuterie board( $750 for the small) which was a hit and fresh. We also ordered the chicken, spinach, crème pasta, lasagna, cesar salad with bread. It was served on time as planned. Food was actually pretty good, liked the pasta the most. We provided the liquor and alcohol. We purchased the bartender and security. Yes, they are strict with checking ID. Our bartender was great and he made his special drinks all night. We also purchased the Photo Booth and staff loved it. Thank you Casa De Sanchez for having us. I had my daughters Sweet 16 October 28th. After looking into several venues this one stood out. Not only because of the price but because it's elegant, rustic, and the planners are very helpful. I had the pleasure to meet Tamara, Brenda, and Sandy. These girls are truly the best. Not only do they follow up with you, but if you have any questions or concerns they are always available. The day of the event they were very professional and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the delicious charcuterie table, the helpful waiters, to the awesome bartender, to the attentive securities and the beautiful table set up. Everything turned out perfect !!! I brought my own catering service but I decided to hire their staff to serve and it was the best decision. This post is well over due. We celebrated our daughter's Quince here in their Louisiana Room November 25, 2022. Everything was near perfect! When you have an event here there is no need for extra decorations as the room itself is so elegant. The DJ they supplied us with, Jose, was excellent! He MC'd the whole event without a hitch! The staff was great! The food was delicious. The only hiccup we had was during my daughter's blessing. We were told you wouldn't hear the other side (this event center has two halls) but the music was really loud from the next door hall during the blessing. They got it under control within a couple of minutes which was awesome! Besides that, everything was smooth and beautiful!! Would definitely recommend this event center. yes, I had an event there on August 2. Everything was beautiful more than what we expected. Everything we we staff amazing. Kristine and Sergio helped with all of our needs. Honest and prompt at all things we asked for accommodating every need. At the end of the I left one of my gifts behind with cash in it, and Sergio ran out to me and told me that it was left behind and that there was cash in it. Venue is decent but in a not so welcoming area. There are three options that will be offered. On which is their old rundown ballroom which looks more like a cafeteria. You will need to do some massive draping to make your event look elegant. As for the other two locations, they are across a street. Both have a rustic look and are nice venues but note they are both connected. Although the rental prices are reasonable the only turnoff which for some may be helpful is having to use their vendors only. In my case, I wasn't pleased the dj fee was included in the rate. After explaining I rather use another dj I was informed the fee was set whether i used or didn't use their dj. Monopoly at its finest. If your looking for a one stop shop and you'll be content with anything, then this may be the place for you. If your looking for a venue where your making your own memories then you may want to look at other options. read more

Our daughter's quinceañera was on 1/14/2023. We fell in love with the venue the first day we saw it. recently remodeled hall with rustic brick walls, arcade room for the kids. Just perfect. but looks can indeed be deceiving. To start. it's real hard to reach someone, they give you a number where you can call with anything regarding your event, what they don't tell you is that they RARELY answer and instead they text you a couple days later unless is to take a payment they miraculously reply right away. The day of the event came and it was raining. Shouldn't be a problem because the event will be held indoors, right ? Wrong !! I couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped in and saw buckets all over the hall because it was leaking all over the place with the biggest leak right in the middle of the dance floor that we had to keep reminding the staff to clean it up. we paid for a photo booth that broke down within the first ten minutes because they FORGOT to charge the battery, come on! You know you have an event and you forget to charge the battery ? Eventually they brought another battery but that too broke down within 30 minutes. The third time they fixed it the guests were already frustrated to stand in line again just to be told it broke again so nobody cared about it anymore but Casa de Sanchez sure charged me for it. For the last 2 months before the event they assigned us a dj that we spoke to over the phone several times, we gave him a playlist for the quinceañera dance and arraigned the order we wanted the songs to be played. Well, The day of the event another dj showed up that we had never talked to, that had no idea of the playlist and/or the order of the songs. And of course the moment of the dance he messed up BIG TIME !! See, the meaning of a quinceañera is to celebrate that she is no longer a kid and is becoming a woman. For 15 years I dreamed about this moment, just her and I on the dance floor bonding together, it took me weeks to find the perfect father and daughter song only to have the dj ruin it for us. Because at the last minute Casa deSanchez changed the dj THEY assigned us. This new guy had to stream the song from youtube as we were dancing so the song kept lagging once, kept lagging twice and kept lagging a third time at which point I told him to stop I have never felt so embarrassed in my whole life even now two weeks later. He still had the courage to ask me if I wanted to dance a different song at which I refused as I had already been humiliated and just wanted to move on to the next disappointment of the night. How can we get that moment back ? It was a once in a lifetime event and Casa de Sanchez RUINED it for us. I hate to do this to local businesses but I hope you read my review and think that people are trusting you with their important moments, there's no re-do you only have one shot to make it a good memory. read more

Very disorganized event we had, venue coordinator was not coordinating. I stepped in most of the time. Bartender and security guards were rude. Security guards were definitely not doing their job checking on people coming in and saying they would get drunk with party liquor they refused to return back to us. Venue provided (paid for) meals were served cold. The coordinator missed a lot of important stuff for the venue and we were left with new purchased things because they simply forgot. They messed up the sitting set up last minute. Things were being changed during the party and air conditioner was shut off for a while (keep in mind this is a warehouse so it's really hot and humid inside) during rehearsal previous to event you get just a limited of time to rehearse and decorate we had to come in The day of the event during the party to finish some things. (They also don't turn the air on for you during rehearsal) so much went wrong with this venue. Employees started to pick up everything from 10- 10:30 pm from tables, wine glasses included so we never got to toast... aaaand they also forgot to serve the cake so we were left with most cake to take home that same day because everything had to be out that night or they would not be responsible for anything. Imagine having to load your cars with things that same night, tired wanting to leave to your honeymoon and or simply home to rest. read more

The food was delicious. The dessert table was beautiful and delicious. The dj was great.. I am so satisfied with the service I received from Frank and Brenda at Casa De Sanchez. They just make everything so much easier. I can't leave behind their staff. They are the BEST. The hall is very nice and clean. I received a lot of compliments from my family about the hall. How do I even start.. this venue is a hidden gem. I had less than 2 months to plan a wedding. I made arrangements with Brenda the owner and with no hesitation booked it. I met with her assistant "Q" about 3 weeks prior to the event to make the final arrangements. "Q" was on top of everything and made the process easy. She answered all my questions and made herself available if I had any further questions. Did "Casa Sánchez" delivered ... oh yes they did ... the day of the event everything exceeded my expectations. The tables were very nicely set up. The backdrop for the sweetheart table was adorable... they have a bridal room wish was perfect to take a break or just to leave my personals there. The Dj was on point .. they also have a kids room which was perfect because the only kids invited were those from the immediate family(about 10). They also have a photo booth which is always a fun thing to do at parties. At the end of the party everything went smooth. They helped us put our stuff in the car. I used the venue that's on the second floor but they also have another which looks gorgeous. I would definitely book with them in any future events. The main reason I give this hall 5 stars is because of Brenda!! She goes above and beyond to make sure your event runs perfectly!! She listened to what we wanted and helped us so much! It rained and poured that day and I was so overwhelmed when I arrived at hall to set up but she went out of her way to help me more then I ever would have expected!! My guests all loved the look of the hall and had lots of fun in the photo booth, which also had someone running it (don't remember her name) that was awesome!! She had lots of patience with all the kids running around trying to take tons of pics and made sure our video slide show ran smoothly!! I have been working with Brenda for about a year now in preparation for this day and she made everything so easy. The prices are so reasonable and if you get the package deal you have nothing to worry about. Table setting, food, DJ, photo it's all included. The venue is clean and very festive and classy. The food is delicious I had some of my guests asking for seconds. DJ Jose had the dance floor full throughout the night and the photographer Robert took my daughters pre-pictures which came out amazing! I am sure the actual event pictures will be too. Brenda was the event coordinator and made everything perfect without a hitch. She is very detailed and organized and made sure everyone knew where to sit and they were served dinner. She had great communication with myself and my husband. Her staff was very accommodating and friendly to our guests. Brenda was my second pair of eyes and ears and was very attentive to my daughters needs. There was a point when my daughter was very anxious from all the attention and Brenda took her to the bridal room told her to take a break, brought her a cup with ice water, a fan and just made sure she wasn't bothered until she felt ok to come back out.
