Together we have done multiple events ranging from 40 people to 300 people, from lunches to networking cocktail events - each time I walk away even more impressed then the last. I had to organise an event for 70 people in our NY office (the first ever as our offices have been recently opened) and had to it from London where I'm based. Mike and Kurt were recommended to me by an event organiser I normally work with here in the UK. I met them while on a business trip to the US and felt absolutely confident that they'd have done a good job: they came to see the space and they understood what we needed in a split of a second. They were extremely helpful and competent during the whole process and that made my job very easy considering the long distance. We also worked on a very tight time frame but that didn't seem to bother them. The event was a success, I've received nothing but positive feedback from the guests and my colleagues. The canapés were good and the service excellent. The only issue that we had was to do with the selection of white wine: several guests didn't like the recommended option but one of the guys run to buy a different one and the matter was resolved within minutes. My husband and I were looking for an amazing food option for our wedding reception. We didn't want the typical stuffy/gross mass produced dinner for 80 or buffet style fare. We wanted a TON of options of passed bite sized wonderment. So I started googling. And the reviews of cocktail caterers we phenomenal... so I said "I've hit gold" and gold it was. From the fast/friendly email responses to the amazing variety of creative options, I was thrilled with all the communication from Mike and Kurt. The day of, they were set up before I arrived, the food started rolling out via (attractive) attentive servers. Everyone at the party raved about the food. We had about 10 options passed around, as well as a big stationary cheese/veggie station. The tiny tuna tacos were my favorite, but the watermelon and feta was very refreshing too. We hired Cocktail Caterers solely from their online listing when we discovered the week before our holiday party that the caterer we had used in previous years was no longer doing that kind of business (catering for cocktail parties). Mike and Kurt were responsive and helpful from the get-go and helped with recommendations. They and their staff (we had a bartender and a waiter to pass the hors d'oeuvres) were wonderful in helping to set up the event (we had rented furniture from another company) and make a festive environment. And the food was wonderful. Everyone's favorite seemed to be the Ahi tuna miniature tacos, but all the food was delicious. Mike and Kurt were very accommodating in making the menu and event very special. I must say they certainly lived up to the rave reviews. They catered a special birthday party for me and the food and service made the party a pleasure and huge success. My sister and I used Cocktail Caterers for her 30th birthday party. They were beyond helpful, kind, and sweet ... they were amazing! The food was as amazing as Kurt and Mike was to me and my sister!
