I got bamboozled by this place. I typically get my lashes done in NJ but didn't feel like making the drive there to get a refill. Made an appointment here without asking for a technician, because I thought this place only had one technician - coco. I don't know who did my lashes, but it's not anybody that knew how to do lashes. I was there for almost 2 hours for a fill! The lady fumbled around my eyes and kept calling the other technician in the room to help her. In the end she glued my eyes shut and tried using some scalpel to scrape across my eye lid to try to get it open. I screamed pretty loudly when she tried to yank my eyelids apart by force. I think they ended up cutting the lashes off with a scissor. The worst part is the other lady laughed and said to give me 20% off for my 'experience'. I have been getting lashes monthly for almost 2 years and haven't been able to get my lashes done since this experience because it was so traumatic. The two ladies working there dont look anything like the owner photographed here, so I guess they were just renting a booth without being vetted for experience. read more

Just got my eyelashes redone by her yesterday and theyre fantastic as always. Below is my review from the first time I got them done a YEAR ago I just got my eyelashes done for the first time ever by Coco! I have nothing to really compare it too because I've never gotten them done before, but it was fantastic and I highly highly recommend for anyone! I am so obsessed with the results. I can wear no makeup this week because it looks like I have eyeliner and mascara on already! She really takes her time and is so careful in how she applies the lashes. She told me everything I needed to know about how to care for them after application and how it would feel during and after application. I had no allergic reaction or irritation and honestly almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing. She is really professional and the results were fantastic. You have to remember that if you're not used to getting extensions or wearing falsies, it will look really shocking/dramatic at first, but you get used to it and then you'll want longer and longer extensions! I've just gotten myself hooked on an expensive beauty treatment, but trust me, her prices are way better than any other place I looked at. So, this is my Third time to Coco's salon to get my eyelashes done and Coco was away on vacation so it took me a few days to get an appointment with the other eyelash tech coz she's been so busy since she's the only on right now. If you've never tried lash extensions, you must do it and realize how great it is to wake up with gorgeous lashes. No more curling or coating with mascara. It's addictive and you'll want them all the time. Coco has uber-skills to make your lashes look as natural or glamorous as you want them to be. I was a new customer and I've never had lashes before. I was told to go to CO CO only, but she was always busy when I came. Anyway, I was given someone else. I told her I was new. I got classic lashes, made another appt for 3 weeks later, then left. I came back 3 weeks later and was told I wasn't brushing my lashes. Well, no one told me I needed to do that. Again, I told her I am new to this. I got refill classic again. She told me refills are $60 and she gave me a lashes brush. I remember thinking why she didn't give me this at my first visit. As I was getting ready to leave I made another appointment, but this time it was for four weeks. I remember her saying four weeks is long, but that's all she said. I told her if I needed to come sooner I will call. I didn't think anything of it until I came back four weeks later. I made my appt for 8:45am in which CoCo had to start my lashes because the lady I had my appt with was not there yet. COCO had an appt with another customer and had to stop doing my lashes. While my eyes were closed CoCo communicated everything she was doing and told me that the lady that does my lashes will be here shortly. 10 minutes later someone just started working on my lashes...no communication or anything. I had to say hello and let her know that I was getting my lashes ah bit longer. All she said was she know, CoCo told her. After spending two hours on my lashes she said the cost will be $100. I asked why? She said because I had no lashes on my eyes and I waited 4 weeks. I said wait!!!! No one told me I had NO lashes on my eyes and no one told me it was going to be more for four weeks. CoCo started explaining how it works. NOW the other lady wants to hand me a damn brochure with the fees and best weeks to come back. I just don't understand why no one told me anything. I just want to say when a person never got lashes before, please give the brochure and brush ON FIRST VISIT. Try to use more communication.
