I booked a couple's massage for my boyfriend and me for Valentine's Day. The customer service here is non-existent. When we arrived at the time of the appointment, only one lady was there. She called someone on the phone and asked her to come over. It took her 15 minutes to get there, so my boyfriend's massage started 15 minutes after mine and didn't last as long. Both therapists kept taking breaks during the massage, answered their phones, talked to other customers, and opened the curtain to go in and out of the room where we were. There was a loud party next door that we could hear through the thin wall. The massage itself was good, especially when they used hot stones. However, I regret asking for "strong" massage rather than "medium" because those ladies are strong! Three days later, I am still sore and bruised. Their price list states that the couple's massage costs $160. When I chose "hot stone" from that list, the lady said that it was going to cost $180 because of the stones. I said OK to that. After the massage, the same lady said that I owe her $320. I showed her the price list, but she said that those prices were per person per hour, and we got two people for 90 minutes. (By that logic, shouldn't it cost $540 total?) I was disappointed about the after-the-fact price increase, but told them fine, they can keep $320. They both continued staring at me and said, "tip!" Fine, I gave them another $20. They still stared at me and said, "tip for the second person!" I finally realized that this extortion will never end. This place is completely unprofessional. Children were in the next room I could hear the cartoons. The massage therapist(?) took phone calls and walked out of the room to see people who walked in, opened the curtain while i was on the table only covered with a towel. I'm so confused. But, but... I had a great massage, one of those truly needed deep tissue massages to work tired and knotted muscles. You pay upfront which is a little odd but okay no biggie. The business is in a small house just off 113. I'd called ahead to book a time. The sign outside does not say Blue Massage, and I'm not entirely sure what the name of the business is, but that's a quibble. Confusing yes but not a game changer. She asks about pressure -- hard, medium or light. I went medium (I'm no masochist) to help knead away my sore muscles. And then she proceeds without overdoing oils or acrobatics. Faint music plays just loud enough to drown out what sounded like the tinny voices coming through her what earbuds? Mrs. is the best! I will say this is a hidden gem. She helps me every time with any muscular discomfort in such an excellent manner.

Massage was good. Coco did a good job working my muscles. I asked for medium-hard and it was just the right pressure. I've had other massages that I felt like a greased pig but that didn't happen in this place. I also don't like to chit chat. She paid attention to my shoulders, back and neck but also worked my calves and did some reflexology to finish. I also didn't leave with any oil on. They took the time to give a hot towel rub that felt exfoliating. Four stars that the first impression walking in could be more attractive. read more
