The massage I received was great however their business is dishonest and I will not return. I booked online signing up for the $25 60 min reflexology session that included a foot massage and confirmed what I wanted upon arriving. However, I ended up being given the $45 hot oil back massage (never got my foot massage) because they apparently decided what massage to give me. Afterwards, the manager tried to get me to pay the $45 and said but wasn't it good, you are so happy. I repeatedly said this is not what I requested and he acted like it was not a big deal at all. First off I want to say that the guy that works in the front is a dick he needs to change his attitude. He walked me into the room I was going to get my massage in and when he was done talking I'm like okay.... waiting for him to get out so I can change because why would I start undressing in front of him?? Then a lady massages me and I'm sure it's not her fault because she just works there but the lotion was COLD. The blankets are trash. The building itself was cold. They should have had the heater on a little. Then when I'm getting ready to pay the same guy from before, he said that my total was 40$ so I was going to leave the girl 6$ as a tip and he said I have to leave 7-10 dollars. I said okay do 47$ and when he hands me my recipe it says 48$. So he went ahead and did that himself which is NOT OKAY! I leave a certain amount of tip on my SERVICE! I did not have a good service here. This wasn't my first massage either and I didn't even feel that relaxed. So I have my reasons why and how much I wanted to tip. Susan is the best at knowing my body and fixing all my problems. The first time I went, it was all women including the front desk. Left a pretty awesome tip! This time, there was a man at the front desk and another woman receiving a massage in the room I was put in. A little embarrassing undressing with the woman and therapist in the room. At the end of my awesome massage, Susan held a sheet up for privacy while I dressed. The man at the front desk kept saying $10 tip in broken English and saying massage takes a lot of energy. He didn't even know the tip amount that I had already given Susan. I'm going to research and contact the head of this company because that man is not customer friendly. Had a great experience at Coco's. Me and my boyfriend did a couples massage and the room was very cozy and the ambience was perfectly soothing. The masseuse was okay, they don't talk much but their massaging skills were great for the price it was fully unclothed with a sheet. They were firm. It was rough at some points, but overall I enjoyed it. We checked in on Yelp and got a free upgrade to the hot rocks (normally 5 dollars more). As we exited the room our masseuses gave us a cup of water. The receptionist is interesting...and their tips are pretty high. But overall me and boyfriend enjoyed the time to ourselves. read more

This morning on December 29th, 2013 I decided to call in to make an appointment for me and my boyfriend to get a massage at Coco Reflexology on Dysart Rd. I visited the website and used the phone number that is listed as the Dysart Location, 623-535-5855 to call in and make an appointment. The man I spoke with on the phone had a heavy Asian accent and he asked me multiple times for my name and the time of my appointment, and he repeated that I wanted an appointment for 6pm for two people. I also stated that I wanted a male and a female masseuse, and he said "Ok, ok". He did not ask for a call back number. When I arrived at 6pm for our appointment, a man was sitting at a reception desk (he had the same voice that I heard on the phone). He told me that I had made an appointment for the wrong location, and that I had called the Indian School location (which I know for certain I did not). He stated that they were busy, and to go to that location. I asked him if they would have room for us since it was already our appointment time, and he said that they would. I knew it was a bad idea to go over there, based on this first interaction but I really wanted my massage and had waited all day for it. We drive to the Indian School location and when we walk in there is nobody at the desk. A lady comes out and she immediately starts arguing with me about who I had called, that I had called the wrong location this morning, and telling me that they had called me earlier (I had never given anyone a call back number, nor did I receive a phone call about anything today). She kept arguing with me and did not understand what I was saying, nor did she understand the trouble I was going through and my frustration so I said "nevermind" and me and my boyfriend walked out to the car and she FOLLOWED US out to the car, demanding that we come back in, and asking why we were leaving. It was a comical scene, but extremely unprofessional and I am highly frustrated with this experience and very disappointed I ended up not getting a massage that was much needed. My question to this business is why do you make appointments over the phone if you cannot understand your clients or respond to them appropriately, and why do you have a massage business if you are only going to stress out your potential client even more than they already were before they attempted to come to your establishment? HORRIBLE THIEVES!! Tried this location for the second time and I have to say this will be my final time. Where do I begin...six months pregnant expecting them to consider the fact that I'm not as agile an it didn't even matter. They barely tried to accommodate me when I requested a pillow for my lower lumbar to avoid discomfort during my massage. It never fails that that they are extremely loud during the massage from talking to each other, to leaving and returning back to the room and outside noise. As a licensed massage therapist I know very well that you are never to leave your client untouched during a session let alone leave the room. They constantly rush the session and is completely disconnected The final straw for me was that my fiancé left his apple watch in the treatment room and we were the last clients for the evening. The top of the day we contacted them to inform them that the watch was left and the denied that it was left. They basically stole his Apple Watch with zero regards. I went to this CoCo's yesterday. My massage was OK. When I went to pay, the manager said I had to pay more of a tip. I told him, I tip what I want to tip. He kept trying to make me put more on my credit card. Saying the owner say you got to tip this amount. I told him, have the owner give me a call. When i want a really good massage with the luxurious spa experience (and price), i go to RedDoor or the Montelucia. If i want a quick massage that leaves my body more relaxed, i go here. It suits a purpose. The guy up front is somewhat of a grump. There's low lighting but that changes when they open the hallway door to bring in another customer. There's noises as the workers carry water and other customers talk on their phone or forget to turn them off. The actual massage is not like you get at other places. Reflexology is supposed to be focussed on energy spots. If they are using too much force, make ouch noises because they typically dont speak much english. I think the masseuse only earn their tips, you're supposed to tip $20 for the hour (50 minutes), or adjusted depending on your satisfaction. That makes it $45 for a normal hour massage so cheap enough. read more

The employees are incredibly judgmental if you do not give them a big enough tip. I remember once I gave the lady who did my massage a tip and she made a face then proceeded to throw it on the ground. I was shocked and confused by her actions. I didn't have that much cash with me, but I thought it was more than enough. Throughout my visits there I've seen the employees laugh at the amount of cash people have given them and act extremely rude to their customers (behind their back and to their faces). Quick service, I called last minute and made an appointment for two. The staff was friendly when we checked in, we waited maybe 5-10 minutes. The rooms are not closed off but you're fully clothed so it's nothing like Massage Envy where you're half naked and the room is super quiet. You stay dressed and a sheet is placed over you and your face. Lights are also dimmed and the staff constantly walks in and out of the unclosed room, assuming taking wet towels and the water bucket you soak your feet in out to clean etc. massage was great, I believe I had Susan and my sister had a male named Andrew. She loved her massage as well. The only thing that disturbed my massage was the constant walking in and out, timed out I ended up with a 40-45 min massage when you pay $25 for an hour but it's just $25, beats the $60 any where else. You get what you pay for. The staff talks to one another during the massage so that's distracting cause they're speaking in a different language and they're a little stern with moving you so they can complete their massage, there wasn't one "soft, gentle" transition to a different position. Moving my neck was rough. Also when you check out the staff waits behind you for their tips, it's very awkward and unsure how to tip on a $25 charge so I tipped a 20% tip, usually at other locations it's 13-18% but this is a much cheaper price. I handed my cash to the staff and she made a sound/comment sort of brushing off the tip which made me feel this wasn't enough and embarrassing. Again though I had no idea what to tip, everyone is staring waiting for you to comment on a tip or give cash. I sort of just grabbed what I had and handed it over saying thank you but overall the massage was nice just a little awkward. When he came out, I was horrified to discover that they had given him their $25 "chair" massage: no oil, no table and they didn't even do his back. There was no recourse to my complaint. Came here for the very first time with my girlfriends for girls day out. We thought why not get some pampering and get some massage. We went to coco because it was close to where we live. So we gave it a try. When we first arrived the man in the front was a gentlemen, he saw us coming from outside and he opened the door for us, the customer service here is great. That is why I rated 3 star... Reason why I didn't rate 4 or 5, was because the lady that I had, she tickled me more than massage me. Not only me that had the same feeling, all 3 of my other friends felt tickled too... I just thought they were just touching and rubbing than actually massaging and giving some pressure. I kinda felt like it was a waste of my money/tip, because really I think my grandma could give better massages. Maybe it was 5 in the afternoon and they were tired or didn't want to work, so they touched your body to kill time...customer service was great, but I kinda was a little mad leaving that place. I went to the Indian School location, the blacked out windows should've told me not to go in. When I went in, the lobby was about 6 x 12 area with a couple cheap chairs, and an Asian guy sitting there with a note pad, and a lap top. He said your husband called and cancelled you appointment, I said "that's interesting, because I don't have a husband, so you have me confused with someone else". He just argued with me, so I walked out. The little area I saw was filthy, the floors and walls were disgusting, I can't imagine what was on the other side of the door, but I'm glad I didn't find out. I really have to question if this place is legit. It was downright disgusting. I'll stick with Blu Sol, and Hand and Stone, no happy endings there!!! Since writing this review, they have changed their rebuttal numerous times, there are numerous complaints on here, not sure why they are so focused on mine. I did not judge their race, as they have claimed in every rebuttal, I respect everyone that respects me. I don't understand why he keeps complaining about my language, I've never used inappropriate language towards them, or anyone else. I'm reading reviews here where people are saying they were tickled, not massaged; which massage schools teach students to tickle and giggle while attempting to give a deep tissue massage? Horrible place!!!! They made us get dressed and leave in the middle of our appointment. Been here several times, Never again. We called and asked for an appointment for 2 at 8:30, they didn't ask our name or anything, sorta weird but okay. We show up, they said do you have an appointment, yes we did, still no name or conformation or anything. Ushered back to the room. 5 minutes into the massage some guy comes bursting in the room asking if we had an appointment, yes we do we replied as we said when we got here, he leaves. Comes back in two minutes later arguing with us that we called the other location and need to go there and need to leave, Massages stop we look at each other confused. Get up start getting dressed and guy comes in again yah you called wrong location you need to go there. Umm yah no we're going home. We get to the front and I'm fuming. They have terrible business practices, this is why you take people's information when booking them, and don't come interrupt in the middle of a massage. It is unfortunate that I must write this review. I have been going here several times over the last couple of months. You cannot beat the listed price $25 for one hour. This is the problem, every time I've gone they try an up sell the massage pressuring me to get a $35 oil massage instead of the $25 massage I ask for. So, 2 times now after I have told then no, during the massage they use the oil then charge me accordingly afterwards. I have wanted to believe this was a mistake. The other issue is after the massage, they have a sign with the amount of tips they suggest. $7 for a $25 massage and $12 for a $45 90 min massage. If you figure the math this is a 30% tip. I am a good tipper anywhere I go but a tip is an option and the amount of tip is my choice. Tonight after a nice massage I tried paying for 2 $45 90 min massages, I offered to give a $15 tip total for both. The employee demanded that I pay a $12 tip each for both massages. I said no that I wanted to pay $15 total. The employee yelled at me, said some choice words to me and demanded I pay the $12 for each massage, I told him a tip was my choice. He continued to scream at my walking behind me out to the parking lot. This is completely unacceptable! I will never go back, which is sad because the actual massages were good. read more

It was just that OK....It was weird as I was placed in a room with two other people. The person next to me fell asleep and was snoring. The ladies doing the massages were talking to each other. I opted for hot stones which required me to take my shirt off. I had to do this in a room with others. I felt very uncomfortable as the two massage therapists saw me take my shirt off. The massage therapist was also disappointed that I didn't leave the suggested tip amount. I did tip, but I felt that the service was just ok. There are better reflexology massages in the area. My experience started on the phone when scheduling the appointment for a massage. The guy on the phone told me ," yeah yeah come in at 1:30" I told him ok, I prefer a woman to do my massage, he says ok. He didn't ask my name and said goodbye. I arrived at 1:20pm, the lobby was empty and stayed empty until 1:35pm. I waited 15 min. with no one to greet me. Finally 2 guys come out who barely spoke English, I don't think they completely understood anything I said. I told one guy that I had an appointment at 130pm, he guided me back into a very dark hallway into a room that had 2 beds and a curtain, there was an employee in there cleaning up the room. The guy who guided me back tugs on my shirt and says to me, "take off your shirt" , My first response was to get the hell out of there, I talked myself into staying and give it a chance. The guy left and the other remained in the room so I didn't want to undress in front of him, he continued to clean. I was waiting for a female massage therapist to come in , but instead I get this guy that was in the room cleaning. During my massage I heard other people getting massages and snoring, it was the most uncomfortable feeling. These are not private rooms, they are partitions. The beds were uncomfortable compared to what I am used to at other spa's. The guy had me put my feet into water at the end of the bed, while I was laying down, this was a very uncomfortable position and very odd. If I was to rate the hot stone massage by itself , minus the atmosphere, it was wonderful. So, at the front desk, paying for my massage the receptionist asked how much I wanted to tip, because my overall experience was disappointing i was going to tip low , the receptionist said he could not accept that amount and pointed to a tipping chart on the wall and says , you have to pay that amount . I didn't want to cause a scene so i gave him the amount on the lower end, as i'm signing the receipt i see that he put a dollar over the highest amount for the tip, again, i didn't say a word, but i will NEVER EVER go back to this poorly ran place and i would detour anyone that is considering this place. Please do not go here. I had the worst experience with a massage ever!!! They walked me through a curtain, into a room with a massage already in process--naked person on the other table in the room. The massage therapist who was with me instructed me to "take your clothes off" while other people were in the room. There was no mention of sharing a room with another massage listed anywhere online or prior to entering the room. I did not sign up for a couple's massage or get asked if it would be okay to share a room. During the massage he kept leaving the room (more than 5 times in the hour) and other therapists kept talking with him. I've been here maybe 4 times and I actually stopped mid massage this time. I've never done that before but that's how bad this massage was. Here's how it goes down. When you walk in the front desk lady will try to tell you do the max. I went for a 60 min and the massage started. The lady barely used her fingers and insisted on using her elbows to most of the work. She drove them in my back and made sure each lumbar felt a horrible bone grind. I stopped her and said to hard. She still used her elbows and after about 5 min she was back to the same intensity. I then said you know could you just rub my neck. She rubbed my neck 20 seconds and then for 2 min started scratching the shit out of my head. To point I said stop. She yawned and told me to flip over. She started doing the nails in my skull thing I got up and said we are done. She was like lay down please. I said nope we are in done with this. I then walked out and the lady at the desk was like give her a tip. Haha. I said this is the first massage ive gotten where I feel worse after I received it. I then tried to explain but don't think she understood English well. She was like o well try another girl next time. And this is why they are getting the 1 star. My husband & I went there and the service was horrible. I explained to the guy on the counter what i needed and he said " yeah yeah sure sure" and walked us back to the massage area, the masseuse spoke no English!!! all they said is "sit sit free water" I tried explaining to my guy masseuse where i needed more work and he 1st they wanted us fully clothed I was talking in sign language basically. Horrible once they started it was super painful he did a deep tissue but golly! He was mad or something because many times I raised my arm to stop because it was extremely painful. he went out of the room like 3 times total of like 10-15 minutes and still did not understand that he was hurting me. He did not work on my area i needed and instead of feeling good it felt horrible. After they were done I go outside to the pay area I tell the guy there and he didn't understand it hurt all he said "oh yeah yeah deep tissue" When I was paying he wanted a tip for a 60 minute massage and I told him no that fist of all I was only back there for 50 from the minute he took me back and that their people went out about 10-15 minutes not massaging so total "massage was 35-40 min total he said no 60 min I said no and had proof because when I went in the front door I had just hung up my cell phone and showed him the time. The time I hung up and the time I was out total mins. Then he said " me owner" I told him horrible experience. He said ok ok no problem. Horrible had never had such a horrible experience now I'm in extreme pain. I used to go to another location they have but this was horrible. read more
