As someone who has visited here quite often, here is what I can say: - yes, it is different than your typical luxury spa so if you are expecting that experience you will be disappointed. As far as service goes, my experience has been that this is and has for years been the best massage I have ever had. Even though they have changed owners a few times, service has been consistently good. I have not had any issues with tipping as I take cash and tip what I feel the service was worth regardless. They have always been respectful of my personal boundaries. I always ask for medium pressure and am very clear what I want up front and have had no issues. I have filed a formal complaint with the state board, and this incident has been fully documented. This was not just an unprofessional experience it felt predatory and unsafe. During my 90-minute massage, a female staff member repeatedly entered the room while the male therapist was massaging me. At one point, the therapist's hands were not on me, and I clearly heard the distinct sound of a photo being taken from his phone while my bottom half was exposed. This was beyond disturbing. When I immediately confronted the staff at the front desk, both the therapist and the woman acted confused and pretended not to understand what I was asking. Instead of addressing my serious concerns, the owner later chose to believe their employee over a paying client. That should tell you everything you need to know about how this business operates. First time in. I've seen this place for years but never went in. I was a walk in and ended up having a reflexology session for my daughter and myself. The Reflexologists were pretty good. Nice and relaxing with a good amount of pressure. It was really a bit more than I get at a pedi, but longer. I have had reflexology and I know what it is. I did have to guide mine but as she focused mostly on the ball and not so much on the heel and top and toes. But it was a decent session. Now here is where I have a problem with Azure. There is a sign posted that says tips are cash only. I don't normally carry much cash so I gave what I had. The owner/desk person was clearly disappointed in the amount I gave. I shared that was the only cash I had. He then said I could use my card for the tip. Evidently that wasn't enough so he proceeded to tell me that most customers gave 50-65% for a tip. I'm tired of being Nickled and dimed with tips. Pay your employees appropriately and then tips are up to the customer's discretion. 20% is a good tip. I don't need anyone to show me your records to see what other customers gave. You got $80 more for two customers who weren't even planning to come. I gave them an opportunity but don't plan on returning. That is the front desks fault. read more

I started coming to this place in December. I went 2 times before I found a massage therapist that really made me feel "fixed" after leaving. Kelly has been the best massage therapist I have encountered at that location. I have since tried scheduling a massage with Kelly the last two times and after checking in and laying on the massage table, it ends up being someone other than Kelly. The first time I brushed it off to them being busy, but the second time was a really annoying considering they weren't busy at the time. What's the point of making an appointment with the massage therapist if they aren't the one conducting the massage. Then when I walked in, they said whole body massage is $60/hour.. so now it went from $80 to $120. When they began the massage, they tried to pressure me to pay $160 for 2 hours. I said no. It's a little hole in the wall but a great massage spot. The prices are much more affordable than chain massage locations and mike and Nancy give the best deep tissue massages ever. The only thing I don't love is the room set up.. specifically for women because there's not complete privacy when getting undressed for table massages. Got a 90 min massage. The guy pointed me to the room and left. So I got undressed except I left my panties on like I always do. I was looking for the sheet to cover up with and there wasn't one. At that time the guy came back in and said "no" and handed me my shirt while looking away. So I put it back on. Massage starts and guy was "hurried" with touches.. while rubbing my feet it moved my whole body. He would use my big toe to move my leg/foot into position. Moving my head wasn't gentle. I did request medium pressure and told them my shoulder and knees hurt. He did ask if pressure was ok on those areas. This whole time I had to endure his BAD BREATH. I know this can be a medical issue or side effect from medications, I went through that myself. But PLEASE get some breath mints or try Biotene spray at Walmart. It does help. Getting ready to leave.. I paid when I came in. I gave the guy only $10 as a tip since it wasn't that good of a massage. As I open the door receptionist yells "YOU HAVE TO PAY ME" I said "I did when I came in" She told me I didn't. I told her "I have the receipt" so she opened the cash drawer and counted the $20 bills. Then said "You gave me $60". When I got home I called to tell her my experience since I didn't want to talk bad about the guy in-front of him and where others could hear. I thought that should be private so she could tack-fully talk to masseuse. She told me he told her about the clothes off incident. I explained to her that the first time I came there that guy asked me to remove clothing (as you will see in my first review how he didn't even leave room or anything while I undressed). The receptionist didn't want to listen to anything I had to say she just kept repeating "CLOTHES ON WE NEVER ASK YOU TO REMOVE CLOTHES" mmm read other reviews and you will see how others have been asked to remove clothes...... If I could rate this place negative, I would. This was my first time at this particular establishment. My appointment is at 6:30. I walk in, reception is very friendly. The lighting is dim, and there's nice relaxing music. All these element give you the impression of the tranquility to come.... NOT! FIRST! While waiting for my 'Massage Therapist," I notice there's a very unhappy looking individual sitting on the waiting couch next to me at the other end. I figured it was just another customer waiting for their massage as well. I am finally called back through a makeshift hallway full of many built very small crowded rooms. The massage table you lay on is on the floor. The lady that directed me to the room stands at the doorway.... uh, I'm not sure what to do? Just stares, waiting for me. Should I take my clothes off? Are you going to close the blinds so I can do that comfortably? Should I not take off my clothing? What exactly is happening? Should I even be here? I now want to leave. Eventually she asks for my purse to hang and directs me to lay down and put my feet into a bucket of warm water. It was all very uncomfortable. Now for the massage..... oh god. AWFUL. Just so I don't have to go into much detail and relive this trauma, please do yourself a favor and just DONT experience this. The massage was so incredibly strenuous, I was practically in pain the entire time. Even after hinting of the pain, the women didn't ease up. Just.. please don't experience this. I was excited it was OVER! I then go to pay 35. They charged me an extra dollar for using my card, and the masseuse stands right behind you, I figured to watch your tip. I tipped generously, and she was happy and walked away. I really just didn't want an issue with no tip, as I had actually intended to do. BEWARE!! Do you not use this establishment; it is NOT BBB Accredited and Dangersous! I am a 52-year-old triathlete and have received hundreds of massages in my lifetime. I can honestly say this was the worst! They did not do any kind of intake survey to see what my needs were. The rooms were dingy and lacked privacy. However, those things could be overlooked. What could not, is the man conducting the treatment was not at all trained. If you want to be pinched and poked on for 90 minutes this is a place for you. The man seemed to have very little knowledge of muscles and fascia. Even when I told him to lessen the pressure on my adductors, he did not listen. I am in great shape with NO medical issues, but these folks could definitely hurt someone. I was sold a 90-minute deep tissue and hot stone massage.
