When you pull up to check in your greated by a guy blowing cigar smoke in the RV. the man with the cigar also claims the park as his, and says the rules on the answer machine are wrong and he controls the rules. Now fast forward a few days, and ii suffer PTSD, TBI injury, and from the loss of 2 families I'm dealing with a diagnosis from emotional stress So I went to Kars park because I felt safe there, unfortunately the troll made sure that didn't happen. I was eating lunch on 8/18/2025, and a rude gentlemen (probably drives a white Tacoma with silly fake graphics). The phone says "US government". I answer and the guy asks "what's up with your spot" and " what's your deal"? Being extremely aggressive, and after I had that intruding phone conversation I didn't want to stay. So I drove straight to Kars park and paid in full, telling them it's my last night. Then the next morning, and after receiving another cold shoulder from the short cigar smoker (turning his back to me, and taking his time opening the gate (troll). I decided I'm not going to let the cigar smoker, and the harassing workers effect my stay. I called and after a conversation (man doesn't know how to take constructive criticism.i was out surfing and instead of extending my stay I was told to leave by 11. Like a criminal I had to have my parents grab my truck and we drove away.

Whenever I go to Florida I always stop and spend some time at Kars park. And it's a very reasonable place to stay especially if you're going to be long term, like a month or longer. Even their weekly rates are great.

A very cool experience in the heart of the zoo. This is…read morelocated near the Everglades part of the Brevard Zoo which is the second major section to the right as you enter the zoo. You sign up at a covered pavilion where you can rent canoes for the Everglades Kayak experience. I have done the kayak several times and have enjoyed it. There are 3 choices for the ropes experience. The easiest one is the Canopy Walk at a cost of about $25/person and the admission to the zoo. You sign up for a time (if they are busy). We got there at a good time and could get right on. You will fill out a waiver electronically and come back at your appointed time. They will walk you over to a staging area and get you rigged up with a harness and helmet. The arrangement connects a large C-ring that follows a railing and is never disconnected while you are on the course. The course is 20 feet up in the trees, going over a section the Rainforest Revealed Loop at Brevard Zoo. You move through 20 elements. You need to be in good physical condition but it is not a hard course. The course was nice and unique and the staff was excellent. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting the zoo that would like a unique experience. Enjoy!

Look......... I am horrible with heights....... HORRIFIED!…read more The thought of plane rides, ladders, or anything that brings me off the grounds just gets my tummy in knots. BUT We were on our trip and...... My bf loves doing crazy things..... so I got us tickets for this trek.....oh jeez Because of covid you must wear a mask until up on the first course. You arrive to sign in and buy a cute reusable bag thing for water. Thank goodness we bought them. It was so hot up there..... STAY HYDRATED! After that we get into our gear and take a lesson. The instructor makes us practice on the lesson obstacle first before going up. If you can't figure out the practice one.... you ain't going up! It is not hard. Kids do it. Just pay attention and all will be fine. TILL YOU GET UP THE TREE!!! For those afraid of heights haha We did the beginner course. Because... uh... duh I am scared. Got up the first latter..... 20 feet up. Thank God I had the older ladies behind me cheering me on. I got through the course. It was hot. I sweat buckets out of my system.... I was exhausted by the end... but so proud of myself for doing the course. WARNING! Their is a tightrope walk part. IT IS NOT EASY! One lady was taken down. One kid fell off. Take it really slow.... I did it very very slow and made it! Once you are at the tight rope you are almost done... phew! The ziplines were great! Of course my bf breezed through it all.. but he did say the tightrope made him concentrate more. No..... I don't want to do it again... But I would if family wanted me to. No it isn't because it was bad. It was a great experience, and I think everyone should try it. I just... It is not my cup of tea. Heights are not my friend. I am a big baby... I am not afraid to say it. Also, you need to be in some kind of shape, because you bend down a lot to get under and over things. Not fun for us tall peeps. In the end, so happy I did the trek. Very happy I chose beginner. Great experience..... Only con I have is the helmet I had smelled... not so yummy when I first put it on. OH ALSO! During the course look down! I saw monkeys and otters! I can not say enough about his experience, attention to safety, professionalism and skill. He was their biggest cheerleader when they succeeded and their most patient motivator when they stumbled. I can not believe how hard he worked for the two hour lesson, never tiring and always giving constructive advice and encouraging tips. My daughter and her friend are both true surfers now! We live in Massachusetts but we will certainly call Mark the next time we are in town.

I played the ruby tees which were nearly 5200 yds which is a good distance. Lots of water on this one although I only put one ball in. The sand didn't seem to be a major factor either. Price was reasonable. As a twosome, we played with two singles, one local and one who was visiting but had played the course several times. They were very nice people to play with and the staff was also friendly. We split a medium bucket of balls to warm up. The driving range used mats for hitting. Balls were not included in green fees.

Satellite Beach is a small coastal city on a barrier island in Brevard County, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Banana River. Pineda Beach takes its name from the original mainland village of Pineda, which was established in the 1890s. The town was located a few miles inland along the Florida East Coast Railway near present-day Suntree. Developers E.C. and Anna Dearborn surveyed and subdivided the community in November 1894, making it one of the earliest settlements in this part of Brevard County. The area's military history is equally significant. What is now Patrick Space Force Base began as Naval Air Station Banana River in 1939, serving as an anti-submarine patrol and training base. During World War II, this stretch of coastline was actively monitored to protect against German U-boats operating off the Atlantic coast. In the 1970s, Brevard County completed the four-lane Pineda Causeway (State Road 404), which spans the Indian River and Banana River. The causeway provides direct access to the barrier islands, Patrick Space Force Base, and the surrounding beaches, making Pineda Beach much more accessible. Today, Pineda Beach is known for its uncrowded wide, white sand shoreline and typically calm surf. Amenities include free parking with approximately 35 spaces, an outdoor rinse shower, a covered picnic pavilion with a table, and a boardwalk that crosses the dunes through native coastal vegetation before reaching the beach. Not Dog Friendly There is one female restroom and one male restroom Still a lovely visit and I do love that Satellite Beaches are a hop, skip, and jump from the parking lot. Cocoa beach beaches to parking lots at least the ones we have been to are quite far. I think I would return to this beach again. I was happy that the restrooms and shower were conveniently available.
