This store sells beach wear and Cocoa Beach shirts. It is not a popular or has the same vibe that I remember. It was lively the last time I was there and it seemed empty and not as full of merchandise as I remember. It is good to stop in to look to see if something catches your eye. Worst Experience EVER! My husband and I decided to go on a last minute beach trip away from Miami and this is where we ended up going. We both found swimsuits and were headed to check out. I asked the man at the counter if they had somewhere to change and also asked about the return or exchange policy because my swimsuit was one size, he said we could change in the fitting room and i could try on the swimsuit before buying to make sure . So I paid for my husband's shorts then he changed into them and I changed into my swimsuit to make sure it fit and brought the tag to the register to pay. After I paid, this lady comes running at me asking me where my receipt is and saying I didn't pay. I told her I already paid for the items and she could ask the man at the register. Then my husband comes out of the dressing room and she's screaming that we didn't pay for those and trying to snatch the receipts which I had on top of my wallet out of my hands. I told her to not touch me and to ask the man at the register because I dropped one of my receipts while she was attacking me. She grabbed my arm and tried to yank me back to take my receipts out of my hand and after she finally asked the man at the register if we paid and he said yes, she ran into the back office. I called the police and couldn't do anything because I live in Miami and will not come all the way back for that. Horrible staff, too expensive. My husband was racially profiled because he's Hispanic and has face tattoos. read more

No help. Product knowledge is a zero. Can't use tap to pay. Won't take a credit card or debit card that expires in 2030 or higher. Lashes on rentals surf boards are cheap and bore quality and snap then they charge you for it. Beware. It's a good alternative to shop for beach wear. They have a big discount section on the second floor. A lot of old stuff up there. Nothing for me. They have a great free parking garage attached. Some skateboard options. I think their prices are a little less than some other places. No wow factor. read more

I liked this beach store a lot. I thought its prices were better than Ron Jon and I was able to get an ornament for under $10 and a Cocoa Beach hat for $7. It is also pretty big inside the store and has a small aquarium. It's not really a true surf shop and is more of a touristy shop. The cashier was super nice and I enjoyed my experience. read more

It has a fair amount of surfing items and T-shirt's galore. Here are kids, women and mens items as well as other little sundries. The prices Are fair though Mo bargains. They have an upstairs as well. Downstairs there is a huge fish tank which is cool to see. We even got to see a diver in there with the fish! I think that was the best part of the store. I'm a customer at your business and this morning I made my way to get a coffee from the Starbucks located in the parking garage, I usually do drink my coffee while watching the sunrise over the beach from the top floor of the parking structure. I was rudely approached by the security guard your employee. He told me I'm not welcome there and he proceeded to call the police on me. I've never been approached like this while being a paying customer. It made me feel like if my skin were a lighter shade the officer would have been respectful. I got dropped off right in front of Cocoa Beach Surf Company by my shuttle ride as this is the stop where I can have some beach time and just wander around. Shark Tank seems to be the attraction here. The fish tank is huge and nice. We were also given coupons with % off while we got off our shuttle. A nice touch as most tourists probably more interested in visiting the flagship store of Ron Jon which is just right next door. Not a bad place to browse around. read more

This is a scratch and dent shop of Ron Jons next door. Half the registers are closed, half the fitting rooms, half of the escalator. The surf board and sitting on the floor, carpet is all stained and nasty, hardly room to walk around them, 3rd floor is all glass windows and full of junk and boxes. No ryme or reason to where products are thrown on the sales floor. You might find a deal here cuz the product has been sitting for 6 years but that's about it. Its ok. read more

Very reasonable prices. Even allowed a one hour rental so I could trial a RAS that I was considering for purchase. 4" tires are pretty amazing. Step thru design nice for those over 70. They do offer to sell their used RAD e- bikes / but I am purchasing a new one with special features. They are also opening a bike shop / repair shop next door to the rental shop. read more

Yes, it's kind of a tourist trap like the huge monstrosity next door but it houses a nice hotel (Sheraton), Starbucks and The Shark Pit Bar and Grill. The Shark Pit is a little pricy but the food is OK and I enjoy the fish tanks with the sharks. Best of all, if I need surf wax or other surfing gear at odd hours, CBSC is there for me when I venture to surf down in central Florida! read more

Buyer BEWARE!!! I made this mistake. Bought a board "As Is". Didn't see at the bottom of the board a sticker "Made in China". Know wonder it was "A steal, any less I'll have to call security on you". Funny at the time and decided to take a chance on a CBSC board. The 4th sesh out, took a dive holding onto the board, jumped back on the board and a 2''-3" chunk of the nose broke off with the poly ripping 1/3 down the board. Total Bummer!! Please don't buy junk from China or try to sell hiding it from a customer. Seems all too shady now as I reflect back on the experience there. Did some research too and never knew CNC machines in China are mass producing surfboards too. Didn't know the Chinese can surf. I'll never go to your store again. Wow. My boyfriend and I visited here yesterday evening. I was looking for suits to wear in colder weather and was directed to Miss Erica, whom was working on the second floor. Erica was super knowledgeable about surfing (as I am a beginner) and directed me to the gear that would (and did!) work for me. I've frequented the place a few times when I head over to the east coast to surf. Mostly for a cup of Java or some good by the shark tank. As far as surfing gear mehhhh not really a true surf shop mostly touristy stuff. Overpriced boards etc. Go with the family if on a vaca there but just to show the kids the tank. read more

Even though I live in the area, I'm not that familiar with this store. I've seen their sign in at least one other spot along the beach so they must have at least 2 stores but this location, which is attached to the Four Points by Sheraton must be their main location. The store seems to be about the same size as their next door neighbor, Ron Jon's. Both are multi-level with more beach apparel that you'd ever need. It's very convenient for the hotel guests there as the hotel lobby basically becomes one with the store as does the restaurant\bar area they have inside. There is also a connected parking garage that the hotel and surf shop share. One of the coolest things inside is a large fish tank where you'll find a small shark, a couple eels, and some fish. One of the least cool things is the lack of attention paid to you by the staff. When we visited, they were quiet and non-welcoming, congregating at the cash register and not offering any "hello" or help at all. read more

This is a review of the CBSC rentals which rents beach items and is part of the Cocoa Beach Surf Company. The rental prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. Along with surf boards and wet suits we also got an instructor to give lessons at a fair price. We ended up with Carlos over the summer and he was great. I specifically requested him when my daughter wanted a crash refresher course while on our winter break. Again he was great. Will be renting from this place again whenever we visit. read more

After perusing at Ron Jon's, I walked over to this place located inside the Four Points Sheraton. I ended up buying a lot of items here. A bikini that I normally would have paid at least $80 for ended up only being $37. I also picked up a long sleeve henley for $15 and a zip up hoodie for $19. I was lured in here by the prospect of Hawai'ian shirts (made out of cotton, and really made in Hawai'i, too) and I was not disappointed. I liked this joint waaaay better than Ron Jon, and the people are nicer and more helpful. They do not have an attitude here, which is refreshing. Very cool parking ramp with free parking. Definitely do not waste your time looking for beach blankets etc at any of the other creepy shops around this area, just go to this surf shop and be done with it! read more

Prices are higher on some stuff that you can find at say Walmart. Nice store, besides the one of the workers. They have no dive equipment, not even boots so I asked a cashier if he knew of any dive shops around the area. All he said was " I know there's one in Merritt island. I don't know the name or hours.". He said it in a I don't really care to help you tone and then went on with doing nothing. The free parking is nice though. read more

This place is as good, if not better, than the huge Ron Jon store next door. The surf and water equipment is cheaper than Ron Jon, and there were clearance racks everywhere. Cool restaurant and a Starbucks in the store. I should have gone here first. I could have saved bucks on body boards. read more
