A happy me after riding my bicycle to the top of Vail mountain
    Edward M.

What an incredible place, I walked in off the street looking for an E bike and they set me up with an indestructible quality bicycle. I just had it serviced and the mechanic is incredible . The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their products, my magnum pathfinder rides better than New after their superior mechanic gave it up overhaul. 1100 miles on my bike and it's running strong. Thank you very much.. Edward Mutterer

Looked them up on Yelp and man what a find! The young lady answering the phone, help us find Jetty Park. We were visiting and drove in from Orlando. Looking for beach umbrella and chairs to rent. A1A came through! We paid for parking and had our rentals within 30 minutes. We were in Cocoa Beach and was directed by (I believe it was Melanie) to go to Cape Canaveral's Jetty Park. Young lady at beach was very nice and helpful! Great prices and great experience.

    Little island of birds

We had Eric as our tour guide for kayaking. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and efforts to preserve the environment. We saw many species of birds and a dolphin! Unfortunately the manatees were not out. But would recommend going nonetheless! Here's a photo of me holding a jellyfish!

Bottom Line: Support Your Local Small Business! These guys are great. It's looks tiny from outside but they pack a lot into the space. I lived here for about a year before I went in - I thought they were only rentals. I needed something for my bike so I stopped in to see if they carried any bike supplies. Now that I Know ...... I've had them put on a kickstand and a front basket. They've adjusted just about every part on my bike too. I also bought handles for my kayak and a kayak paddle. I'm tall and my kayak is wide so I needed a long paddle and they had it! I also got one of those waterproof cases for my phone so I can take it out while kayaking. Shay is wonderful and will try and get you anything for your bike or kayak that you need that they don't have. Dave and Dave are also super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. In addition to the things you "need" for your bike - they've got super cute hats, T-Shirts, sunglasses and lots more Bottom Line: you need a repair on your bike or parts or just want something cute to show your outdoor spirit - stop in!

I'm a big paddleboard person, so I figured kayaking couldn't be that different... and honestly, it was such a good call. I signed up for the morning paddle and Ian was our guide super friendly, easy to talk to, and actually knew a ton about the area without making it feel like a lecture. I was really hoping to see a manatee (still a little salty about that lol), but we did see a bunch of beautiful birds, tons of stingrays, and even a random little dolphin which totally made my day. The weather was perfect, the water was calm, and the whole experience was just really relaxing and fun. 10/10 would recommend if you're into paddling, kayaking, or just want a chill little water adventure.

We were especially interested in seeing flamingos, and Cricket guided us to an island with a small flock. She kept a distance so as not to disturb the birds, which we appreciated. Then Cricket guided us to a couple of places populated by friendly, curious manatees. She shared interesting facts about all the wildlife we saw, and it was clear she is genuinely passionate about the local flora and fauna. I would recommend Cricket and Cocoa Kayaking to anyone who wants a unique experience in nature. I hope to visit again sometime! Thanks!

Tour description: Embark on an unforgettable kayak adventure through the serene waters of Cape Canaveral, Florida. Glide through the calm waters as you explore the diverse ecosystem of the Indian River Lagoon. Keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the lagoons most famous residents – the gentle giants of the sea, the manatees. These gentle creatures often bask in the sun or graze on aquatic vegetation, offering a unique opportunity for close encounters with wildlife. As you paddle along the mangroves, you may encounter a variety of bird species, including herons, egrets, and ospreys, soaring through the air or perched on the mangrove branches. Keep an eye out for playful dolphins breaching the surface, leaving behind a trail of sparkling water. The vibrant underwater world teems with life, from fish darting between the seagrass beds to graceful stingrays gliding effortlessly across the sandy bottom. To contribute to the preservation of this precious ecosystem, you'll have the chance to participate in a mangrove planting initiative. With the lead of experienced eco-guides, you'll see a mangrove seedling get planted, helping to restore the natural habitat and protect the delicate balance of the lagoon. This one off experience allows you to make a positive impact on the environment while learning about the importance of these unique ecosystems.

Upon arrival she asked us to fill out a form. When my wife asked her a question about who needs to fill out the form, she gave a very rude answer, "I handed out the clipboards and told you!" This behavior of not wanting to be receptive to questions or possibly having to repeat herself a second time, really killed the vibe of having a fun guided tour. I explained that we are novice and she still acted cold. When giving her initial instructions, she played blazing music and talked really low, so you couldn't even hear her. Then when you asked her for additional instructions she would respond with, "I already told you!" On the tour, she continued to talk at a whisper and she would give her instructions when half the group wasn't even close to her to hear. She may be knowledgable about the wildlife, but the way she conducts herself with a group was dismal. An AI robot has more friendly manners than her. Not sure if she was having a bad day, or if she is just like this on the norm, but her personal skills or lack of, really ruined the experience. She had the nerve to ask for tips when it was done. Wish we had a better guide.

She was incredibly knowledgeable, easygoing, and made the whole tour feel relaxed and fun. We saw so many incredible things throughout the trip. There were bioluminescence cone jellies, bioluminescent dinoflagellates ("dinos"), birds, a gator, and several manatees. The highlight was getting to see a mama manatee and her baby. It was such a special moment. Brandi shared so much interesting information along the way and had the perfect go-with-the-flow attitude that made the whole experience even better. You could really tell she loves what she does and cares about the environment and the wildlife. My husband and I enjoyed the tour so much that we both said on the way back that when we have kids someday, we want to come back and do this tour again with them. We saw no bioluminescence, which was frustrating given that we were told other tour operators warned their guests they might not see much. While we followed your specific instructions to cover ourselves in baby oil and DEET to prevent bugs, we saw no bugs either. Furthermore, the equipment was poor quality; the kayak had no foot pedals and felt more like a rowboat without seats, making it incredibly difficult to kayak the long distance in the wind. It appears that bioluminescent viewing is not ideal until mid-summer, yet you still had approximately 40 people signed up and charged $80 per person for a tour where guests saw nothing. I expected more transparency regarding the conditions.

The guy I spoke with (tall, skinny dude) had that smartass vibe from the start. When I asked how a used Channel Islands Neckbeard (he wanted to sell me) compared to Happy Everyday, his answer was that there are now as many surfboards as marijuana strains. Funny line, but not helpful, and honestly a weird comparison since people actually choose specific strains for real reasons. Then came the rant about volume. He said it couldn't be measured, which was funny because these days every core guy or old-school surfer seems to have something personal against the word "volume". It's almost like volume broke their hearts, everyone's got a speech about it but no one gives a straight answer. Before leaving, I asked about deposits on boards, and after acting like they only want customers who can drop a thousand bucks on the spot, he admitted they might take 50%. At least that's something. Catalyst will be fine with $100 though. And that's the problem here. Shops like this complain that people don't support local surf shops or local shapers, but when you show up ready to spend money, this is the treatment you get.
