Really cute and well organized place. If you're looking to get frozen yogurt the process is like so you just go in, pick what size cup you want, pick your yogurt, and add your toppings. They also sell more items than frozen yogurt however, I didn't get much of a chance to look into the other options on the menu. How you pay in regards to the frozen yogurt is dependent on the weight of your cup. I believe they measure by ounces, so my cup was about 11 oz and I paid $7.74. I got the cookies & cream flavored yogurt, I added butterfinger pieces, granola, and shaved coconut. I also added a wafer in there as well. It was delicious! I don't usually eat frozen yogurt, so I was pleasantly surprised! Because it was my first time here the staff was exceptionally nice. They explained how everything worked and was beyond patient with me. If you ever in need for some frozen yogurt, stop by here! I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did! read more

Unbelievable. I drove out of my way to come here for a dessert based on reviews. I checked the hours to make sure they were open estlier today at noon. Their yelp page said they were. Froyo AND Bubble Tea! What a fabulous combo for a dessert place! This place is colorful and brightly lit. There are about 16 different froyo flavors and bubble tea flavors to choose from. They have a station with tons of froyo toppings, which by the way was immaculate. The taro bubble tea I got was fantastic. They said their tapioca were stale and offered to substitute in boba instead, which I think are just as great. I'm happy that they did that instead of just giving me stale tapioca, which I have gotten at other places (gross). The mango boba were delicious in the taro bubble tea. I took my toddler here for a treat yesterday. They wanted bubble tea specifically. This is the closest bubble tea to yorkville that's pretty good. We've been before and I got the coconut one and it was pretty good. We got the pineapple slushy with passion fruit boba and I got a green tea boba tea with tapioca pearls. The person working there was quick to take the order, but then he proceeded to go in back for about 5 minutes before emerging with our drinks. The shop is colorful with a touch of a nature vibe. They have music playing fairly loud and 2 TVs on usually with a nature show on 1 and k-pop videos on the other. Lots of old stuffed animals and doll's around the shop. The pineapple slushy tasted like what you'd expect. The green tea one tasted nothing like green tea. It tasted like tobacco, but not as harsh as real tobacco would smell (if you've ever smelled an unlit cigarette (don't do it. It's gross.) but that is what it tasted like to me. And the texture of it was like melted ice cream which I personally did enjoy. If the flavor was actually matcha with a hint of vanilla, it would have elevated this review to a 5 star one. Cocomero is the coolest froyo place I've been to. Right down the street, this is a great treat for the family when we feel like stuffing our faces with a sugary chill. The place is very bright and clean. They have 10 different flavors and they don't really change them out too much. The toppings bar is always stocked and full with your typical froyo variety. The reason this place gets 5 stars is because of whoever is running the joint. The place is super inviting and kid friendly. Every month the decorate the entire store with a theme full of balloons and activities for the kids. They even have a play area for the little sugar high kids to burn off the extra energy. I thought this was a family friendly place. I came there with two toddlers and 4 adults. The kids got their yogurt With adult supervision and all was fine. once we all sat down to enjoy our yogurt we were being stared at by all the employees which were clearly the owners and one employee that couldn't have been older than 20 years old. One of the kids grabbed a rock from the faux tree in the dining room thinking it was funny and a random item to play with, which us adults intervened and said NO. We continued to enjoy our yogurt when my daughter then grabbed a rock 5 minutes later thinking it was a toy, which I again intervened and said no, which my sister then redirected and said no. The young girl then came over, without addressing us parents or even saying a word, and SNATCHED the rock out of the kids hand which triggered my nephew. She then came back over and did the same thing to my TWO YEAR OLD daughter, and scared her by her quick and unnecessary actions. Kids can be kids and I understand they can be overwhelming, but getting physical is no way to engage with a child. I called the place on the way home apologizing for the inconvenience, which the same young girl told me that I should learn how to parent better, rather than speaking to me and coming to an understanding on both ends. I am mortified and disappointed with the experience I had here for both me and my family. read more

Floating from the ceiling are bright, puffy balloon fish and Super Mario-esque clouds. I felt like I was in a Katy Perry music video. While eating my Party Punch and Coconut fro-yo mix, we listened to lots of sugary pop divas like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez, alas no Katy Perry the entire time we were here. There are about 14 flavors including the Coconut and Party Punch, which tasted like fruit punch. The Watermelon was especially tart, as well as Chocolate and Birthday Cake. Like other frozen yogurt places, they charge by the ounce, and you can make it as complicated as you like with their buffet of fruit, candy, syrups, and other toppings. She didn't say anything about paying the rest on a card or say what I owe. She just automatically assumed I was only going to give her $5. I felt completely disrespected.
