I'd give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that the frozen custard melted so fast!!! I went thru the drive thru and the service was very fast. It wasn't even a super hot day but james brownie funky jackhammer I got basically turned into like a milkshake on my short drive home. The fudge and brownies in it reminded me of the cosmic brownies. I sat in the parking lot to take the pics and eat some of it before going home and you can see how it was already starting to really melt. Would I go out of my way for it? I love Andy's especially this location. Their frozen custard is delicious and the variety of flavors and choices to pick only makes Andy's that much better. I particularly love the different concrete desserts they have. Very recently I was able to get a treat here for only like 36 cents. I signed up with their rewards program and finally racked up enough points for a (nearly) free treat. I think that time I ordered a small butter pecan concrete. Not too shabby of a deal! Andy's, One of the days I'm going to order something other than the BootDaddy Concrete...a chocolate custard with Oreo cookies,crème caramel and hot fudge blended together. It's decadent, excellent but not low in calories. The staff is always fast and courteous and spoil my dogs with a custard treat. Asked for my mixer double blended. It was barely blended once. Workers seemed nice but they just could not complete the task at hand.

The line here is USUALLY very, very long but not ALWAYS! Tonight there was no line & they made our 4 items within 5 minutes. Very kind at the order window and made sure we got all 4 items correctly. Come here every time I visit my girlfriend in the area. The ice cream on its own is phenomenal and I cannot recommend the nutty waffle crunch concrete enough (it's literally just a blended up drumstick, so good) but the service this location provides is abysmal. Someone always gets one of our orders wrong, the staff is rude and dismissive, and one night when my girlfriend and I unknowingly came a few minutes after close (it was 11:35, we thought they closed at midnight) the staff looked at us through the window and laughed rather than informing us that they were closed. Granted we should've checked online to see if they were open, but it would have been nice to have somebody inform us. I recommend their product if you can get past an unwelcoming atmosphere. read more

Andy's is such a gem! When I was working I usually go to the Ogden location and since the pandemic we've visited this location like almost twice every month. I didn't know there was a reward program and we've just registered last September. In our next visit we will most likely be getting a freebie!!!! I do appreciate the effort of the staff, all are wearing mask and gloves especially the team prepping the frozen custard. It is a bit expensive but I would say it is way better than DQ, not too sweet compared to Steak N Shake and Culver's frozen custard. Okay I know these 4 (DQ, Steak n Shake, Culver's, Andy's) are different but they are all desserts. We've ordered Boot Daddy and kids sundae a couple of times. You basically have two choices when it comes to custard around these parts and Andy's crushes the competition! Everything here is great.... Its really that simple. Now, price wise they are....lets say.... Gucci! But its well worth it. You can also feel totally comfortable ordering the small since they are HUGE!!! The jackhammer's are my personal choice as they are filled with really thick and tasty Hot Fudge... if it was any thicker it would be a brownie! Ironically I think you can get brownies mixed into it lol! One other hint, the drive up menu board is not where you order, your order at the window (or the person that walks up to your car * thanks Portillos), so don't get too confused. A very sweet and sour experience. The kind person taking my order had such a nice voice and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. That all changed once I pulled up to the window. As I received my order I realized I needed it to go and when I politely asked for this the person at the window gave such attitude. The look on her face was one of annoyance but the thought of asking it to go in the first place had slipped my mind. Once I finally got a chance to try my old fashioned soda it was not satisfactory. So discouraging today. We used to get a jumbo custard that was soft serve style all the time. Now it is 5 scoops, about half of the amount for a dollar more. Server insisted it has always been scoops. No it hasn't. Needless to say this is the last time we're going to Andy's. read more

I love Andy's but this location needs work. Several times they have gotten orders wrong and when addressing my concerns the employees make it sound like it's my fault. They have a really good frozen custard selection. Their concrete is somehow similar to DQs blizzard collection. Snow monster is a must try. It's a strawberry and vanilla custard with choco flakes blended together. They're not overly sweet which how I prefer it. They have customize your own banana split, exchange toppings as you please. Liked mine with extra fudge and pecan toppings. Line's starting to pick up since they opened a week back. I'm pretty sure I'll be borderline diabetic in few months of going back here since they're really close by the house. Is it ironic they're situated beside LA fitness. I love Andy's and often go to the Naperville location. After going to a haunted house near by, my boyfriend & stopped for concrete mixers on our way home. We both ordered mediums with Oreos & cookie dough costing us $13.50 (which is fine since their custard is so good) but this time we both got BARELY any Oreos in them. It was basically a vanilla concrete mixer....what a waste for $6+. We were both so disappointed after looking forward to a concrete mixer. read more

I'm not sure if it's just my luck but I just stopped buy today and I ordered 2 medium cups and I got one small. Went and got 2 Sundaes, one large and one small. Cost was a little over $14. Temperature was 70 degrees outside, so we ate them on the bench infront. Soft serve started to melt immediately after getting it from the window. There was nobody in line, so we received them right after they were made. They continued to really melt faster than we could eat them. It ended up being a soupy mess. Toppings were also on the light side. No whip cream either. Their vanilla soft serve really didn't have any flavor to it. If I were to guess on the quality of their soft serve, it would be on the lower end, like 3-4% butterfat. For the price you pay it should be a much better quality soft serve and no skimping on the topping. Now I understand why it's never busy. Sorry, I wanted to like it, but Culvers and Oberweis are so much better. Especially when their pricing is comparable. read more

This Andy's place was so amazing. My friend recommended this resto and I was only able to go yesterday since I had no work but it definitely did not disappoint. Their foods are all so delicious and mouth-watering. Their size portion is neat and all are mostly affordable. I ordered their ice cream, apple pie Sunday, coffee custard bar, pumpkin pie, and a chocolate drink. Would really, really recommend those for you to try. I also love their service. Their staff were friendly, kind, professional, cooperative and patient. they would talk to you properly and help you with your menu and even regarding about the place. Speaking of. Oh dear Andy's, you are the reason why my waist continues to grow. The custard at this place is too DARN GOOD. Whether you get a concrete or a shake, you can't go wrong. The gang and I love the concretes. Personal favs are the butter pecan adding banana, the bootdaddy, and the jitterbug (perfect for coffee addicts everywhere). This is a perfect place for when you have a late night craving for custard because they stay open pretty late compared to other ice cream/custard places. read more

My only complaint is that the servers memorize the orders without writing them down or typing them in. Out of the five times I've been here, four of the times the order has been delayed because one item or more have been forgotten. Still--I'm willing to deal with this. Flavor was good but they don't offer whipped cream, which by definition of a sundae, is a key part. No idea why they don't have that as an option.
