This place is stellar for GOOD, 100% GUYANESE CHINESE FOOD. The place is always insanely busy with tons of customers coming, going and waiting, huge orders being prepared in the back and a phone that never stops ringing. The chefs do a great job churning out jerk chicken noodles, chili chicken and all sorts of high flavour food. Bibi is the person who gets the job done. Always looks fabulous and unfrazzled. She directs the traffic of neverending customers, gets the orders through and navigates the maze of demanding patrons. CALL AHEAD. Things take time here but it's so worth it. I tried to avoid Indian food - as I find spices too strong, and I'm not really insightful if West Indian cuisine serves something like those food I tried before. But this food, it's more like a Chinese-Carribean food combined. But I decided to give it a try. And boy, WOULD I COME BACK IN A HEARTBEAT. It looks like a regular diner inside. Quite a few people come. We ordered: 1. Black pepper shrimp fried rice ($13.25) 2. 2 pcs of fried chicken (as suggested by the server) instead of getting a HALF CHICKEN. She suggested that it's too much food for us if we get the half chicken, and she was right!!! So instead of spending $10 + , we just spent $5 on 2 pc cut fried chicken. I went here with a friend for the first time based on her recommendation and I'm really glad I did! The fusion food options here are amazing! There menu had a diverse range of dishes for everyone. I ended up getting the Jerk Chicken Lo Mein and my friend got the Black Pepper Shrimp with Fried Rice The food was served fresh, hot and crunchy! The food was so delicious and the chicken literally fell off the bone. Had lots of flavour. The serving sizes here are HUGE! There was enough for us to eat there and then pack a whole meal to take home and eat. Overall, I ended up only paying around $16 with tip + taxes because their menu prices are really cheap. Coconut Breeze is off my list of local Friday night food options effective immediately. The Owner was not wearing her mask while she took customer orders , and had greater than the required occupancy waiting in her restaurant, so she snidely ordered us wait outside. When my wife, respectfully advised her to wear a mask she prattled off a rude response , "I Know, I'm frustrated right now". I won't be eating there again. Tried this place out yesterday, and have to say the customer service is outstanding when it comes to explaining the dishes. The food is very fresh and made to order, not reheated like some other west indian restaurants. I ordered the chicken fried rice, wings and beef stir fry and have to say the beef stir fry was pretty damn good. I didnt like the wings and fried rice only because im not a fan of all spice (chinese 5 spice). Although i know a lot of people like it so they may love this food. read more

Very much a hole in the wall establishment with great food. My husband and I got the Pepper Shrimp and Chilli Chicken with the fried rice. Both were great. The only reason I am not giving the restaurant 5 stars is because no one was answering the phones (we were trying to call ahead). Once we got there, we realized why - there were only two people working and taking orders to a packed restaurant. Service was good and the two people working the order were organized and friendly. Went to this place for lunch take out. I haven't even ate the food yet and wanted to give this review based on my experience today. (I normally don't leave reviews but in this case I had to) They need to focus on providing their guests a positive experience. The lady at the front who seemed to be running the show was arguing in front of customers about how they need to stop taking more orders because the 10 guests who placed their orders were waiting. What kind of restaurant doesn't want more business. Super awkward waiting to pick up my food which was promised to be ready in 10 mins over the phone but took like waiting 25 mins. (What ever its all good if I had to wait but at least tell me so I can prepare for it and not show up early for nothing and stand around awkwardly while they have dine in guests) They need to improve on their guests experience, a better and efficient order/takeout process. Their not busy enough to say "let's stop taking orders because we are busy". I don't anticipate this restaurant will last long based on this experience. I hope the owner's take this feedback seriously and hires an outside agency on how to improve their business. read more

Would give them a zero if I could. Price and taste is not worth this peice of shift. Get the same better tasting and for half the price. Pickering is spicy dragon and ajax they have fine taste for half the price. Screw these guys my chomein had 4 pieces beef and 2 pieces of shrimp for over $13:00 and it wasn't that good for the price.
