Finally ate here. The food was good! Better than some other area Mexican restaurants, with good vegetarian options. The plates are also composed well...the cooks clearly care about presentation. Our server was on point too. He really took care of us. We did however go on a Sunday early evening...and it was packed. My wife didn't want to wait and we sat at the bar, which was a bit unkept and also right near the bathroom, which patrons kept not closing the door too. I have slight OCD, so the combination made me uneasy for the first half hour there. read more

I love their Cocos and Beer Fajitas with Chipotle. They give you plenty of meat and the Chipotle really adds a good flavor.

Placed an Uber Eats pickup order and arrived within the estimated time. After waiting about 10-15 minutes, I went inside to pick it up and was told the restaurant cancelled my order because they were "too busy." What was frustrating is that while my order was cancelled, they continued seating walk-in customers who arrived after me. If pickup orders can't be handled during busy times, they shouldn't be accepted or listed on Uber Eats. This experience was a waste of time and disappointing. read more

I went for the first time with a friend at 12:30pm on. Wednesday . it was empty and we were seated immediately. I ordered the 12oz ribeye with steamed vegetables and rice and black beans. the steak was really good and the so were the black beans. the vegetables needed some seasoning. This is about my 4th time going here and I always get the same thing : paella mexicana (substitute the fish for chicken) and it's so good! It's very flavorful! In addition to the rice it had onions, green bell peppers, a sauce (it taste similar to white sauce) and cheese. It's simple but tasty. I also ordered a peach...it was decent. The table guac was very good and fresh . They don't make it table side but you can tell it was freshly made. The customer service is decent. read more

We were seated immediately and the host was very kind. That is the only positive I have to share, we sat at our table and decided on food, but never received water or any acknowledgment from the staff. After I waived down two seperate servers, who both gave us quick "ok, someone's coming" responses, someone came by and handed us chips (which we did not eat due to the salsa clearing being 50% water) then she walked off without a word. No one ever returned. After sitting in a half empty restaurant for 30 minutes with no water or acknowledgment we decided to leave. 0.5/5 experience and will not be returning. read more

24May,2026: We like this place very much. This is one of our top places to bring friends when they visit us. When I retired from the Army after a 28 year career, I held my retirement dinner here. A memorable moment. It was good. I had taken family and friends here on several occasions. We like the food here. We absolutely love the fried tilapia and red snapper. Unfortunately, all the positives ended today. We took our guests there, a party of seven. We put our order in, then waited patiently for over thirty minutes.. our server never came back to our table after she took our order. I watched other customers get their food before us when we arrived before them. After about 45 minutes, I finally complained because there was a family of about a dozen folks get their food before we did. After I made an initial inquiry, still no one came to us for an explanation. I finally tracked down a manager. He explained our order was never put in.. at that point I was pretty upset.. I was more upset because no one felt a sense of urgency to come to me and explain what happened. If I hadn't inquired, we would have been waiting for nothing . in all that time, no one even bothered to ask if we would like a refill on our drinks.. I asked to pay for our drinks so we could leave.... The manager didn't charge us for the drinks.... A small price for them to pay for wasting our time. I guess, my mistake for thinking I had been here enough times that they recognized me and valued me as a customer. I was wrong.. at the end, it's a business for them.. losing a customer or two is okay, they have enough to keep them busy. As much as we like the place, we will never return there.. Losing me as a customer won't make a dent on their business.. they won't care about this review.. others probably won't either, until they eventually go through the same experience. The feeling of a place you thought was decent and honestly cared for you as a repeat customer , actually not caring much at all about you, your time and that of your friends and family. read more

I took him 15 minutes to come and even ask what I wanted to drink two of us got their drinks and two of us had to wait forever. raider came by several times and said can I get you anything else? Yeah the drinks we ordered 30 minutes ago food took 15 minutes. I figured I'd try the salmon. It was so dry. The corn was a half a corn on the cup cut up was so dry and two little baby potatoes. Once the food came, we couldn't eat because we still didn't have utensils. We had to get up and go get it ourselves when we were done eating. I asked for a check three times the third time I told him to go get the check now. He came back and I handed him cash he said do you wanna change back? I told him yes. Would you believe it that he never came back? Two of us walked out and two of us waited on him. He was in the kitchen the whole time. I have been to this location, a couple of times now. Each time, while the food was delicious, the service left a bit to be desired. The servers are extremely pleasant, but may be overwhelmed by the number of customers per server. It takes a minute to get some attention from a server once you get your food. This location is well lit and beautifully decorated. It seems to be clean and pretty well maintained. Both times I was there, there seemed to be a lot of flies in the restaurant. My fajitas were very good. Get the flour tortillas vs the corn. My wife's deluxe nacho's were good also. Someone ordered the Cocos n Beer monster burrito and we ALL agreed it was the biggest burrito any of us had ever seen. It could easily feed 3 to 4 people depending on how hungry they are. This place was really good! The service was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and super attentive. He kept coming and checking on us to make sure we were good. The food came out pretty quick and was really delicious. You really get your moneys worth here. Not that the menu is expensive but the portions are humongous! Definitely for those who love leftovers. The inside is really nice as well. Very big and good for group settings. Their menu has a variety of Mexican dishes to offer. They even have vegetarian options. No vegan options but they do allow substitutions which I did and the food was still good. Their libations menu is huge! I don't drink but I did take a look and all of the drinks sounded amazing. We went here for the first time since it opened. I was hoping it would be an improvement on the other one in town. Atmosphere is definitely not Mexican, but the have decent seating. We were seated quickly and we all ordered margarita. Two small house frozen and one jumbo quasar frozen and one house on the rocks. The margaritas are good. Their complimentary salsa is good, but I found the chips just regular, nothing special. My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas, I ordered a grilled steak quesadilla and our friends ordered a nachos special with ground beef and enchiladas. My quesadilla was okay, nothing great. Beans, lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes and quac on the side. My wife's fajitas were honestly the worst tasting fajitas we have ever had. Lots of green peppers and vegetables that had no taste at all. It's as if they were sautéed in oil with no salt, pepper or any form of seasoning. No cheese. The shrimp looked like they had been boiled, with no flavor at all. No grill marks, and definitely not fried. I tried one of her shrimp and a an onion and green pepper and agreed with her that it really wasn't edible. The waiter forgot to bring the tortillas, But we caught him as soon as he left and had him bring some back. Neither of our neighbors liked their entrees either. The only thing good I can say is the noise level at this restaurant is 100% improvement over the Fort Jackson site. My wife said she would've sent this back if we weren't dining with friends.
