Cannot stop thinking about the elote dip!!! The drinks and food were so good. Along with the service! They decorated the restaurant so well too. Full video on @lexgeteating

Finally got to try Arroyo and I was definitely underwhelmed. It is very casual, you seat yourself and the restaurant itself is super small. The queso was probably my favorite part, pretty flavorful and wasn't just melted cheese with nothing else in it. I was honestly very underwhelmed with my tacos. I did not like the fish taco at all, the chipotle chicken was definitely better. However both were just cold and not very fresh. I think if I come back, I would definitely opt for something else as an entree, although the menu is limited. The service was good, we got our food in a reasonable time. I don't really see myself going back anytime soon, Columbia has so many excellent taco spots, and this one just kind of missed the mark for me.

It's a small, easy atmosphere that models after a Tulum-style bar and restaurant boasting a well-rounded Mexican cuisine. For a cheaper price on tacos, the flavor far exceeds the price. Carnitas tacos are one of my favorite items in the Mexican cuisine, and this place does them perfectly. The carnitas are cooked to perfection, which melt in mouth and are complemented by the accoutrements added to the taco. The tacos are not small either. Two of them can easily satisfy an appetite. The barbacoa tacos are honestly delicious. I've had every taco on the menu at this point and each one is bursting with flavor, and I'm always leaving the meal satisfied. For drinks, they offer a wide variety of tequila-based cocktails that are hand-curated by the bar staff and manager. They offer flavor infused tequila shots or you can get them in a flight too! This place is newer so there are some tweaks being made with every shift completed. But for a startup, it's excellent and it's got great potential!

Best Chili relleno around. Great tacos and Chimi. Custom tequila drinks infused with pineapple or pomegranate or jalapena. Fun atmosphere.

When I walked in, I was amazed at what I saw inside, as it definitely was not what I was expecting (and I mean that in a good way!). I loved how dimly lit it was inside, which was complemented by miniature lights that were strung from the ceiling. Speaking of the aforementioned change of pace, I also appreciated how there were no TVs inside, which created an intimate atmosphere that focused more on conversing with your friends than watching whatever may have been on TV. Finally, as someone who always pays attention to a restaurant's artwork... I absolutely LOVED the artwork that was on display at Goat's. They had so many cool pieces of eclectic artwork, that you could almost consider it as much a small art museum as a restaurant. My favorite art piece is kind of hard to describe, but I guess you could say that it was of a God-like man in a suit controlling somebody who was playing golf. (I know, it's hard to describe, but like I said, it's eclectic.) My one (1) downside to Goat's, and the only thing keeping it from a five-star review, is that the bartender and servers were all pretty rude and arrogant. This is speculation, but maybe Goat's is one of those places that considers itself a "regulars" bar, and isn't very nice to people who aren't regular customers, but the three (3) employees I interacted with weren't all that inviting. All in all, Goat's was a great experience, and if it were an option, I'd probably give it something like 4.5 or 4.8 stars if I could. If the servers were a little less full of themselves, or maybe just in a better mood, I'd consider it a five-star experience. Nevertheless, Goat's was a great experience, I'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend that anybody stop in if they're looking for a unique experience in Five Points!

Portion was smaller than I expected for the price. The Oysters (4) were out of this world. Next time I return, I'll go with three small plates. My only other suggestion is expanding the wine menu. They should offer more reasonably priced house reds and whites.
