Now we are four months waiting, and I'm mortified that I left my beloved animal at this facility. I can not recommend this to anyone. The owner talks all the right talk, but after being told tonight that I should not call and check again, they will call me when Holly is ready...unacceptable. Emergency out of state for 4 days and two weeks of snow/ice doesn't equate to two months past my scheduled pick up date. I'm mortified that I did not lay my Holly to rest appropriately. That is something I can not do over, but I can warn others to avoid this. Do better Affordable Pet Cremation, or simply don't put others through this horrendous experience.

First, I called a different service that said they'd call me back. They never did. I called and spoke to Deb at Affordable and the first thing she said was how sorry she was for my loss and arranged an appointment that very day to bring my kitty in. The gentleman who checked us in was just as kind and caring. He showed me how Lizzie would be returned to me and again expressed condolences. I picked Lizzie's ashes up this afternoon and was again met with kindness and compassion. I cannot recommend these wonderful people more highly

Heartland Pet Cremation were so kind to me during this time of loss and grief. They gave me some of Brooklyns fur, her paw print, her urn which I bought a name plate for and a lovely card which showed me that they cared and knew what I was going through loosing her. They have prepared two of my other pets through the years and I would go to no one else but them. They are just so kind and understanding. I would recomend them to any of my friends who had to go through the same thing. Thank you Heartland Pet Cremation!

My pup passed on Saturday and they opened on Sunday just for me to bring her and make arrangements and they didn't charge anything additional. Tony was respectful, knowledgeable and made the process painless. The prices vary on the package, but I felt they were reasonable. I dropped her off on Sunday and they had her remains ready on Monday afternoon. That was a quick turnaround compared to when I previously did this for one of my other pups at a different location. Lienna greeted us when we went to pick up the remains and she, like Tony, was very knowledgeable and kind. Lienna was also willing to wait an additional hour after closing to ensure we were able bring our pups remains back home. I would give the company a 5 out of 5 star rating based on the professionalism, empathy/sympathy, knowledge and overall respect and kindness. I would recommend others to go here during their time of need for their pet family and I would return too should I find myself needing to care for my pets remains.

Their lies only confirmed my suspicions that something did happen to my precious Oreo.I want to tell others what really happened to my Beloved Oreo. Last year, I pleaded for days asking for proper documentation following Oreo's passing and they could not provide that. Now, they claim they can provide the documentation, but if they can provide the documentation now...why couldn't they before? My review was warning others regarding the horror of the. "Bumbling" and "Fumbling" incompetence of Faithful Friends Pet Memory Center LLC (owners : Brian and Lorie Clary), as well as Middendorf Animal Hospital (Brittany Jones and Jim Middendorf) in their mishandling and losing of my Beloved Oreo. This is what really happened...I knew something was wrong when: 1. I pleaded with Faithful Friends to give me a receipt to prove they picked up Oreo( I wanted a date). Also a receipt showing a date proving that she was cremated. I kept asking...they kept refusing. Kim, from Faithful Friends that commented on my review was the person that kept refusing to give me a receipt proving they had picked up Oreo and proving that she was cremated. She also blocked me from talking to anyone else. She, the other staff, as well as Middendorf didn't know where Oreo was or even who the driver, who was supposed to pick up Oreo. 2. I also knew something was wrong when their dates didn't match Middendorf's dates until they finally got together and picked a date that worked for them. 3. Oreo was referred to as a "Male"...my precious Oreo is a FEMALE. 4.Brittany, Jim, Brian and Lorie and staff didn't even have compassion for my Beloved Oreo to return my calls. I will be reporting them to Animal Cruelty Organizations and the Ky. Board of Veterinary Examiner. I am devastated that I still don't know what happened to my Beloved Oreo or where she is. If only I had walked back in that room and taken my precious Oreo home instead of leaving her with these people. I will never get over this. Oreo did not have a voice, so I am being the voice for my Beloved Oreo.

After calling everywhere within a 50 mile radius if our home in Louisville we found Ohio Valley was the most affordable option. Which sometimes affordable means lack of quality. NOT the case here. I thought that with the cheap price it would be in a cheap setting, but I was wrong. The place is set on a beautiful quiet farm acre away from the city and traffic that I was most pleased with in the same town that I first got my dog. Dan, the older gentleman and owner of the business was very polite and patient with me, he even helped carry my 80lb great pyrenees' body to the crematorium. I even got to watch the cremation take place. Although he operates his business from out of his house, and the pet cemetery from out of his backyard its not as bad as it looks. All in all I'm satisfied that I got my dog cremated there, I feel like its only right to cremate him in the town he was from. Total cost of cremation along with his certificate and elegant urn came about $168, its not that cheap but compared to other places that range from $200 and above in Louisville its reasonable given for his size.
