The teachers are very nice, friendly and always willing to help the children improve. The owners are very friendly and very professional. They are the heart of the school, providing the best work so our children can get the best learning experience. I've seen such a big change on my kids in a positive way since I enrolled them to the school, they have become very independent and willing to do things by themselves, progressed rapidly in their learning and the mastering of new skills, and learned so much vocabulary and the recognition of letters. My older daughter by the time she entered pk4 she was writing her name already and could recognize some words. It's a great find that school. I consider it like a little hidden gem.

We moved from our country in January 2018 as soon as we got to Aventura this school was the best option to us. We Know about the Montessori philosophy and we like it. On the day of the interview, we informed the principal of our situation, we just moved from another country, my son spoke no English and he had a 6 months old sibling. Our 5 years old son started on March because we believed he could benefit from being with other kids, learning how to share, practicing english and having a routine while we organized the family affairs. After 1 week, we got a call from the principal who let us know that they decided to reevaluate the admission because our son had a bad attitude. He didn't cooperate with activities or would not listen to the teacher (he didn't speak English at the time) We asked her to be patient because of the circumstances and the principal gave us another chance, but it sounded like an ultimatum. The following month, April, we had to travel to our country. We where there for two weeks and when we came back he wasn't better. I think being exposed again to his old life, friends and the family wasn't easy. One morning the principal called me again, she was screaming. She informed us that she put our son out of school! I was crying and felt really sad. My husband called to speak to her and tried to reason with her, this wasn't the ideal solution. She said that our son was not a good fit anymore and he was going to be given two weeks to adjust to the school or else he would be dismissed. Mind you this was also the end of the school year. My son was going through a lot, a new sister, a new country a new language. This school treated him as if he was a juvenile delinquent, as if his presence in the school was a problem. This principal prizes herself for having 23 years of experience in childhood education and that is the way she decided to handle a child who was going through a challenging time in his life? We were made feel as if there was something terribly wrong with him. My son was silly and exuberant experiencing an incredible amount of change all at once, that was his fault. Never did the teachers though help him navigate transitions (the most frequent times for behavioral outbursts), or never was he given time to familiarize himself with the Montessori rules which they claimed he was not following. He was defiant but like a 5 year old can be, a 5 year old who is going through so much change in his life. We were given an ultimatum in a very cold and unsympathetic way. After that call, my husband and I decided to get him out of this horrible school right away. Never in my life have I experienced such lack of compassion and understanding in an early childhood education setting. My son wasn't violent or aggressive or dangerous he was anxious and rambunctious. There must have been other ways to deal with this, some basic childhood psychology and more respectful interventions. You see I could have dealt with the idea that my son wasn't a good fit for this school if the principal had been communicating with us in a compassionate manner, but that never happened. Do yourself a favor, steer away from this place and their cold hearted management. These people should not be educating anyone since they lack basic human empathy. Now, a year later, we are so happy. He is in kindergarten, he is an excellent student, he loves his teacher and has made a lot of friends. He only needed TIME !!

The management and teachers may have changed. If you want to verify I am a real person just look at my other reviews. I'm also on FB and Linked in. My daughter stopped going to another well known Hollywood daycare due to sudden severe separation anxiety. During the month of February/March 2019 the kids in her class started making fun of her and rejecting her because of her suddenly acting out. I withdrew her because there were a couple of kids bullying her and although I brought it to the teacher's attention - it continued. With play therapy she got better but still exhibited serious emotional dysregulation and severe separation anxiety. I found Temple Beth El listed as a Free VPK provider during the summer of 2019. It is not only for Jewish children. We are Christian and share many of the values and stories in the Old Testament. It is a private Jewish school but there is a diverse student body. It was only supposed to be for summer camp (not covered by free vpk due to her age) but she ended up attending until the Broward county lockdown March 2020. I give full credit to TBE staff and teachers for her behavioral and social improvement. Play therapy is one thing but being at this incredible school was key. She stopped screaming so much and eventually did not even want to go home because of all the fun she was having! She is a totally different child now from the child she was last year. The school grounds are well taken care of. They have two playgrounds, one for each age group. They keep everything clean and organized. TBE has an impressive curriculum where they not only teach academics and extracurricular activities but educate children on manners and values that are missing in public schools. Every teacher my daughter encountered whether during her regular class, summer camp or after care, was incredibly loving and attentive. I volunteered there every time I could (first time mom and loved to help). I assure you: they are no different when someone is not watching. Go for a tour of the school and their beautiful temple. Infant room: we loved the infant room and the teachers that were there at the time. They were extremely caring and helpful. We received a daily report card of all of the things she did. 1-2 our daughter loved the teachers in the year and 2 year room. She thrived and even learned a little Spanish. The teachers worked with us to potty train her. Ms Brenda was very loving and caring. 3-4 they really started teaching them and preparing them for VPK. The had some nice additional things we were able to add on. Our daughter loved the music class and the cooking class. The teacher, Ms Jita (bad spelling of her name)who taught both was so amazing. During our tenure the Director changed. Both Ms Jade and Ms Colleen (the new director) were very good and along with the assist Director (Ms Julie) they made our experience there a good one. We went to visit last year and to our happiness and surprise almost everyone that was there when our daughter was, still worked there. That is rare for this business. The only reason we left was my job changed and I moved our daughter closer to home and also wanted her to make some new friends she'd be going to kindergarten with.

I contacted Code Ninjas and addressed this, asking for a refund and for them to discontinue taking payments, the manager said he would take care of it, thus thought it was a done deal. 8 months later I realized that payments were still being taken from my account and had cost me over $2k for services that I could not have possibly used since I had moved from the area and are no longer near a Code Ninjas. The teachers, Chris and Elena, are truly masters of their craft as well as masters of teaching that craft, which many cannot do. They relate to the kids incredibly well, and are honest but kind and constructive with their feedback. The kids progress at a rapid pace in their classes and we have seen tremendous personal growth as well as skill set development in our son under their tutelage. In fact, after being enrolled for a session and a half, our son was able to book a short film and several commercials using the skills and techniques he learned at Universal Acting! Carlos, Christine, and Eva are kind, gracious, knowledgable, and willing to share their experiences with parents. This school allows you to sign your children up, but they also educate the parents. They have taught us about the industry and how to best navigate it for our son. They've presented us with the potential as well as the pitfalls and have allowed us to guide our son through this process with our eyes wide open.
