Color Me Mine is a great spot to bring the kids and be crafty! We come here several times and love it. I'm sad they took away the canvas painting options as that was the reason we drove 30 min just to come to this specific location. My fault as I should have called first to double check if they still offered the canvas painting. This is the only location I knew of that did that. Oh well. There is a huge selection of pottery pieces to choose from. Prices vary pending on your selection. Came here with my daughter and she selected the cute little tea set. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price at $54! But this is what she wanted so I cannot deny her happiness. Haha. I mean I can but I didn't know want to. It took me a while to find what I wanted to paint that was practical. We have so many pottery pieces the kids make that are just for decoration. Love when we make plates, mugs, bowls or any kitchen pieces as they are most practical. I chose the geometric vase! The vase was $37. There is also an additional $8/per person studio fee to use everything (brushes, paint, materials). This stuff can add up quickly. Our total was $117! Ouch. But fun and you can't put a price on fun experiences. Lol. Once you pick your piece, the staff will bring you a bowl of water and a paint palette. All brushes located at the tables. The you select the colors you want and put onto your palette and bring back to the table to start painting. We took our time and was here for 2 hours. But our pieces were meticulous. Ha. They also offer coffee here which is a nice bonus. Once you're done painting your piece, you can use the blow dryer to dry the paint, this prevents smearing. Give the finished pieces to the staff and they will label it for the final touch of glazing and thus completing the process. It takes about 7 days and they will call you when it's done so you can come back and pick up the finished product. Can't wait to see ours! read more

I love this place. It's great to go to on an afternoon hanging with your best friend or your daughter. The only thing I don't like is there's never enough tables to accommodate everybody. We sat outside because there was only two of us. If not, we were going to have to wait until someone was done. it was a beautiful day until it starts to get hot. The breeze dies down and people are smoking past you as you are outside. I am excited about getting my artwork. It'll take about two weeks. read more

Located in a prime location in Hallandale, cute set up, good options of what to paint, HORRIBLE customer service. We came Saturday 9/3 and didn't even receive eye contact without waving staff down. It was our first time (with my 2 year old son and mom) and we had no idea how it worked. Granted, it was a grab it yourself type of deal but staff didn't even tell us where the paint was or how it worked for 25 minutes. Just bad. When I arrived the attendee was on his personal phone and ignored me for about 10 minutes I was on time for my reservation which they recommended I do online. After waiting around he finally got to me and explained to me the process of what to do. We got down to painting and spent close to two hours there. I don't have any complaints people came in and out and did their glazing and painting. The attendee would disappear and other patrons would look for him nothing I could do to control that but it was a constant issue. They offer beer and wine and other beverages it seemed. When were were finished we were told we have 7 days to pick it up, they won't call us so we better be there. I've now picked up my items they're glazed and are not damaged. I'm very happy. read more

For children, it's $6.00 and adults it's $9.00; this includes the glaze you choose and for firing it in the oven but remember, you have 7 days to pick up or risk loosing it forever! Love the new location of this place in Gulfstream Casino. I took my kids there a few nights ago for some family bonding. Please call ahead and make appointment to reserve your table. They are practicing social distancing. The place is very bright and very clean. You have one to two people that attend to your table and explain colors. There is $9 dollar per head for children and $12 dollars per head for adults on top of whatever you choose to paint. You are expected to give a gratuity as well. The items to paint range from $20 to $50. My family of four with out tip was $163 plus a $10 dollar tip. Parking is free in the spaces for 3 hours. You will have to come back to pick up your items. Nice experience but for the cost not great. Probably will not do again because the cost is too high. I liked it and glad we came. read more

I honestly don't know what to rate this because they were so hospitable when we were there, but everything after can only be described as horrible. We went for a friend's birthday, and they agreed to stay open an hour late for us. That was so generous of them. But a month later, nobody has called for us to pick up what we painted. After inquiring, we learned that they were unable to even locate my boyfriend's mug. After searching and searching, they found it damaged. The handle completely broke off. They tried offering a $20 credit! We'd never go back there, and $20 would not even cover the expense to paint a new one. read more

The employees are so nice! I went with my sister and we had a great time. Many colors to choose from and special under glaze too that add sparkles and all that stuff. The main reason as to why I'm even rating is because of the staff. They checked up to see if we needed anything, conversed lightly, and were just so kind. There was a party of like over 10 kids and they were sooo loud which was a little bit much because it hurt my ears but I was in a good mood so I didn't mind or say anything at all. I just enjoyed the moment and that there were happy kids around. The parent paging had difficulty and I overheard their conversation. The staff handled it well in a calm respectful tone. I didn't listen too much but the customer parent ended up being pleased and yea. Cool place, so satisfying to clean up after yourself -- highly recommend lol the glaze comes off so easily with water. It would be cool if they offered an organized price range. One shelf could be less than $10, one shelf $10-$20 and so forth. There is no ceramic piece less than $10 though, which sucks because I had finished mine and my sister didn't finish yet and I didn't want to sit there doing nothing. But I just ended up perfecting my piece a little more though I would have preferred something small and inexpensive to paint. $8? $10? No everything is over $16 or $20 and since I already got a piece that was $25 and finished painting it, I didn't want my receipt to keep stacking up in amount. But great staff! Love u! Worst experience ever. Do not go to this location. I took my family here for my dad's birthday and the service was horrible. No one greeted us or even explained to us how the process works. It took my mom five minutes to get someone (there was only five people inside, it was not busy at all). That's when someone finally explained to us how everything works. We sat down and got to painting, the staff were rude and obnoxious, talking super loudly and not helping anyone. One employee thought it would be a brilliant idea to pop balloons while people were still inside. My dad is very sensitive to sounds and told the employee to please stop because it bottlers him. The employee completely ignored him and popped the balloons one. by. one. After that altercation my dad had a bad time and walked out. I will never come back to this location again. I am obsessed with this color me mine. I've been coming here since I was a kid and now with my own kids it's the best distraction, rainy day, activity, fun activity to do as a couple with kids, or even alone. Elijah and Cassandra are so sweet and helpful. I even saw them help a few kids draw designs on their painting and they came out beautiful everything very fairly priced. It was great fun to paint the ceramics and the attendant who was there was very attentive and professional. I did note that they didn't seem to sanitize the painting instruments in between the customers even though there were a lot of kids there and many people didn't have masks. We were visiting from out of town and they have a program to ship your finished product to your house. When the giant box arrived carrying the products that my children had painted, I was shocked to see that they weren't at all wrapped up properly. There was a loose layer of bubble wrap at the top and bottom but the ceramic pieces that my daughter had painted were touching and one arrived shattered on arrival. What a huge waste of money. Needless to say, my 3.5 year old was very sad and disappointed. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because of the nice employee who was there. read more

It's really a lot of fun, great for dates and for kids. I took my niece during spring break and even though the place was busy the staff was very helpful and attentive. It is a little pricy. Its $6 for kids 12 and under and $10 for adults plus the price of whatever you want to paint. I painted a vase at $20 and my niece painted a crown that is also a piggy bank($21). All other supplies are included such as the paint, brushes and sponges. There were items to paint under $20 and of course you can get much more elaborate pieces as well.... the section is really extensive and I was happily surprised by all the choices. All and all I had a nice time and so did my niece... I plan to go back with my boyfriend probably on a weeknight to avoid there being to many kids. read more

Guests told me it was the best, most fun, relaxing, etc bridal shower they had ever been too. We were able to bring in food and decorations and the studio is gorgeous with a bridal shower theme. I took my mom here for her birthday because she's super artsy, and I figured it was something unique that we could as a family. The place wasn't crowded when we got there. We went as soon as they opened because I didn't want to feel crowded, and I had seen lots of kids birthday parties there before. About 20 minutes after I got there, the place was flooded with screaming children. I heard some pieces break, and it seemed like the kids were allowed to do whatever they wanted. They would run around and knock into our table and chairs. It was really unpleasant, and the parents just sat around chatting. Also, we picked two pieces: a small plate and a coffee mug. Neither were spectacular. Any pieces with interesting detail were over $30 (not including all materials). At the end of it, I ended up spending about $75 for the two pieces, not including a tip that we left for the two employees that helped set up our station and brought us the paint. It was nice to do something unique with my mom, but if I drop that kind of dough for an hour long activity for two mediocre pieces of pottery, I better at least feel comfortable in my surroundings. If you're planning a kid's birthday party and have that kind of money, then this is the place for you. If not, avoid it. read more

That place was the most horrible experience we ever had. We have been in the same kind of activities before. The costumer service people were very slow, rude, totally not helpful, bathroom was covered with urine, the sink was over flowing with dirty paint dishes. The cost is over priced at least twice compered to other places. They give you a particular time and day to pick up your ceramic piece, but when you get there it is not ready and nobody will call you to let you know that it is not ready, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CALL PEOPLE!!!!! DUMB!!!!!!!!! I hope that no one else will go to that place and have the most horrifying time. Advise to the owners, to change there customer service people, because they are wrong for that place. What to say, besides my kids absolute favorite place in the world! Our house is fully decorated in every season by DIY painted pieces from here. While they are closed for the move my children have gone threw serious withdrawal. They have a great selection of adult and childrens items. I don't think they have enough practical items though that can be used and not just sit on a shelf for those of us million timers who have 5 of everything. While you are here you can also get a pizza or salad. The pizza here is better than most pizza restaurants in town! for desert the children always want blue colored vanilla ice cream coated in sprinkles and my husband always has to do a chocolate stuffed cookie! We love them and recommend everyone go, but don't want you to because then there will be no tables left for us! :) read more

What a great place Color Me Mine is! This is such a great place to let your imagination roam free and be a little creative and have a little help on the way. Pretty much when you walk into this place you will see about 400 ceramic pieces which you can choose from and design yourself. I went to this place for the first time with my boyfriend and we both decided to paint a ceramic cup that said I love you for each other. It was such a special and calming experience that we will definitely go back in the future. Also, I can't forget to mention for us with the sweet tooth, they have amazing cupcakes and brownies. I came here last Saturday after 3 years of wanting to go. I had looked up online and my boyfriend and I wanted to do coffee mugs. We get there and we walked up to a guy to explain to us how we go about starting. He said pick a piece and sit down and someone would come up to us. He said pieces start at $10 but that's a lie. It starts at $17, which is the cheapest thing I saw. They didn't have just plain mugs so we had to skip out on it. Considering how expensive this place is ( $10 a paint fee for each adult, plus your piece, and tip) I really wanted to do something practical so we decided on a set of 4 coasters and the holder for $25. We sit down and the server comes and asks us if it's our first time and we said yes. All she explained to us was the pricing and when to pick up and to coat the pieces 3 times with paint. So, we're painting and a new server takes over. She explains to us about using these paint pens, a sponge to erase, a blow drier, and we can get our colors, etc. The other server was horrible! She didn't explain anything and caused us to take even longer to do our pieces. Considering how much you have to repaint your coats, it can get tedious and stops being fun. I mean, don't get me wrong, it is fun but it's not all this hype I expected it to be. The brushes are in the worst condition ever. You'd think they changed them every once and a while. In any case, I'm not sure if it's worth going back. Seems like something to say you've done and I expected to have more fun with it. read more
