I can't speak…read moreto birthday parties, but the summer camps (and the virtual camps during COVID-19 shutdowns) have been excellent. Both my children have attended Mad Science camps during summer. The camps have been organized, safe, and my kids have enjoyed them. I saw one review mentions an issue with the adult:student ratio, but our experience has been that there are always 2 adults (teacher and assistant) with no more than 12 students K-5. They've attended more than 15 camps and all the teachers and assistants have been good. One time, summer camp was canceled due to low enrollment, but it was not a surprise. Bronwyn from sales reached out in advance to let me know it was possible, and when it was canceled I received a full refund. Obviously, it's not financially sustainable for them to host a camp with 2 adults and 3 kids, so I understood and appreciated their transparency. Right now, Colorado has a "stay at home" executive order, and all schools are closed so I'm working full-time from home with a 1st grader and a 2nd grader. Mad Science to the rescue! They are offering 2 virtual classes each day. The price is affordable, and since I registered in advance they delivered the materials to my doorstep. I also misunderstood and thought they'd provide all printouts, which I needed since our printer ink won't arrive until later this week. Samy (the owner) dropped those off, as well. The classes are really engaging, and it allows me 2+ hours each day to get focused work done. Bottom line is Mad Science Colorado has great teachers, great camps, great classes, and great customer service.

Horses are well cared for, stalls are bedded with a generous amount of shavings, feed stuffs are high quality. If something breaks (as happens around horses) it is very quickly addressed. ARS has been nothing but a great experience for us. For me, one of best features about ARS is an almost complete lack of drama. People are there to enjoy their horses, not to engage in gossip and junior high foolishness. Kathleen McPhaul, one of several trainers at the facility was the subject of a negative review for ARS on this site. If you are interested in working with Kathleen I would encourage you to look at her website and look at her nearly fourth year body of work, and don't over focus on the one review from a clearly unbalanced person. Kathleen is a very effective and accomplished trainer and instructor. She has long time customers who have become friends, and have reached goals and won competitions along the way. If you are a fit for her program, you will both have a great experience with your horse. If you need a place to enjoy your horses I hope to meet you at ARS.

Once I registered him, I got very little information other than a constant stream of spammy emails. I drove over to the middle school campus a few weeks before he was scheduled to attend and there didn't seem to be much going on. Finally some of the camp let out and an adult named Millie walked a few kids out. Not wanting to seem like a creep watching other peoples' kids come out of summer camp, I spoke to Millie briefly and was somewhat reassured that the Minecraft camp would be well attended and was what we were hoping for. Two weeks later, I dropped my son off at the camp with a couple of other younger counselors. As always, he said he didn't want to go. But when I picked him up seven hours later, he was beaming and excited to have spent the day playing Minecraft and making a few friends! It was definitely everything I was hoping for and I would send him back (and he would happily go!). Millie and the staff were also very communicative and helpful when I had to drop him off late after an unrelated issue. He had a great time, thanks so much guys!

That is exactly what she has done. She has been every year since and was honored to be invited to camp this year as a CIT.
