Controlled class size so each child gets adequate attention 4. Kids that welcome the new kids. (Nice touch) 5. Lots of classes and slots to keep the kids challenged 6. Clean bathrooms 7. Nice uniformed shirts that gives the kids a sense of belonging 8. like minded parents. To make this more personal we asked the kids to review the coaches in their own words. Coach Kurt -From Roman. Very funny, teaches me card tricks, knows a lot about soccer, has nice shoes and looks like a body builder . Always blocks my shots as a goalie. Coach Destiny - From Oly. She's very patient, good at explaining drill. Very nice, pretty and always smells good. Looks like Nelly Furtado. Coach Edgar - Oly/Roman he taught us how to be aggressive on defense . He's funny. Gave me the nickname Waka Waka. He's agile like a cat and has nice ball movement . I copied him and started wearing gatos. Coach Henry - Oly/Roman- he was scawy (oly's words) at the beginning but it wasn't that. He has high standards and disciplined. The more we get to know him he shows his caring side and teaches us the small things that make us better soccer players. He has awesome tattoos He builds his practices in layers so we can understand. This will build your kids from whatever level to the next level . Amazing value compared to what we pay. The best way we can say thank you to a great business is to continue referring potential clients . I've referred many and will continue as a thank you . Thanks for welcoming us. Now we live by the mantra " best never rest, rest at the end."

I let my husband take care of the booking and checking out this place and I just came to the day of the party. I seriously came with little no expectations and just left in total awe. Joan and Kurt were very friendly, helpful, and through. The rest of the night, I couldn't help but praise how wondering they both were. We had 2 coolers but they provided one big cooler which made life 10x easier for us. We ended up combining our two into their one cooler. They had tables and chairs set up for us prior to us arriving. The cheap plastic table clothes I purchased at Dollar Tree were not even used because they had nice black ones on the table for us already. Joan even had a food warmer and it helped our food stay nice and warm for the guests. Joan kept offering to help and I told her its ok and she did so anyways which I am so thankful for. I'm used to doing everything so it was really nice being able to finish with set up early. They helped us clean and put things away. If you have a little one that loves soccer, this is the spot to book! You can pay extra and have a referee there to help coordinate a real game. Unfortunately, our guests/my son did not end up playing a game because they just enjoyed kicking the ball around with each other. They also train if your little one is interested in learning how to be a better soccer player. I need to still reach out to Kurt to have my son try it out. I do think the facility is nice and clean. Well kept and is such a needed place for our SGV community! I definitely give this spot 2 thumbs up!

He had an amazing experience! At first I was concerned because of some negative comments from the other sites. But their office took time to talk to me before the camp and addressed all my questions. During the camp, every day my kid came home with an item he made. These were marble run powered by solar panels, lie detector, and more. He told me he learned about Newton's 3 principles, kinetic energy, etc. He had so much fun! Above this, I'm also very grateful for Ms. Arly and Ms. Ashley for their understanding and kindness when my spouse couldn't pick up my kid on time on the last day. Thank you! Overall, it was a great camp. My kid learned a lot and had fun. He said the staff and teachers were nice!

I just got back yesterday from chaperoning middle school kids at CIMI, Fox Landing…read more My 5 star review is for the activities we did as well as the incredibly passionate, patient, and knowledgeable staff we got to work with, Brenna and Sofie. As a company, I hope you acknowledge, compensate generously, and appreciate the staff on your team for their hard work and dedication to the people who visit your camp and for giving us the experiences we have that make us want to send our kids the following years. It is them, and their talents, that turn a 2-star facility into a 5-star experience. I can not emphasize that last sentence enough, so a little louder for the people in the back: BRENNA AND SOFIE TURNED YOUR 2-STAR FACILITY INTO A 5-STAR EXPERIENCE. Our school signed up for intro to snorkeling, a night snorkel, a second day snorkel with play time (jumping off the floater), tide pooling, the large air swing, and kayaking. I read quite a few of the 1-3 star reviews from years past and could not disagree with them more. Could the facilities be upgraded? Yes. Should they be? Maybe. But this is camp. Have none of you gone camping before?? Camping is dirty. It is dusty. There are bugs. You're lucky when there are flushing toilets. This isn't a hotel with maids! And all of these kids- they could all use a lesson or two on cleaning up after themselves. You want the bathrooms to be clean? Teach your kids to not piss on the seat. You want camp floors clean? Teach your kids to shake off sand before coming in, and how to sweep the floors. It was embarrassing to see how many 13yo didn't know how to sweep the cafeteria of the food THEY DROPPED ONTO THE FLOOR 5 mins ago. I felt like all of these things, they were learning experiences for the kids and the ones that complained the most needed the lessons the most. The only time I had a real concern during the camp was during the night snorkeling; as the chaperone, I had a few minutes of panic when I felt claustrophobic as half of the kids (Sofie and I were watching 16 13yos) were climbing on top of me/the boogie board I was given, and the secondary chaperone, not a strong swimmer, also started to drag on me. During the night dives, I wonder if it would be possible to provide not just a buddy system, but have a handful of body boards provided to the kids? Some of these kids have 0 swim skills and not knowing if school-appointed chaperones are good swimmers, taking 16 kids into the ocean at night, hoping for the best... feels like there could be a couple extra measures in place. Food was sufficient- it was all "edible" and while I did see kids eating only cereal all three days, I also saw kids piling up their plates and eating it all. I did wish there was a way to keep the hundreds of small black fruit flies off of the salad greens and broccoli in the salad bar. Our rooms were inspected upon departure and another school did arrive by boat as we were departing. This means that the only cleaning done for bathrooms/cabins was by our departing kids, so my advice for future parents sending their kids- pack clorox wipes so your kid can wipe down the plastic mattress before setting up their bed and to wipe the toilet seat before their cheeks touch the pee-splattered seats. Pack crocs so they have shower slippers- shower floors were really gross. Know in advance that your kids will be wearing recently-pissed-in wetsuits, about 2 hours after another kid has worn them- but I'm going to guess this is true for every single rental gear dive spot at any vacation destination. And also know that they'll have a great time at camp.

It's not a resort, hotel, or glamping and so my review is of a camp. The staff are attentive, well trained, coordinated, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The food is good camp food. The program is educational and fun. There's a strong emphasis on safety and creating a safe space. The equipment is good quality and well maintained. The bunk houses are standard camp bunk houses: a safe and comfortable place to sleep. That's it. They're clean enough but they're bunkhouses with bunks. I, my child, and the rest of the class enjoyed the boat ride to and from, the activities, the food, and the staff. Highly recommend this experience.

I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!
