There is also a small stage near the big open field so it would be a good location for concerts. The park is on county land adjacent to a water treatment plant, which supplies the pond with reclaimed water. What a great use of space! I will bet most people wouldn't notice that but I work for another local government so I notice those things. Lots of people were out enjoying the nice weather. People with their kids in the kids area, people with their pets in the pet atea and people like me shopping for plants. They also had some food trucks out and staff/volunteers directing traffic and keeping things nice. Again, great venue for a festival in the heart of Carrollwood Village.

I hoped there would be more enforcement by staff with ensuring that only toddlers are in that area because both times there have been older kids including teenagers who are in the toddler area. I also wish there was more enforcement with parental supervision- parents have left their crying toddlers in the ball pit area with no supervision.

My only gripe with this location is its $22 for an hour and a half of play when I could go to the glazer museum that is the same distance from my house. They are pretty similar except the glazer museum has much more to do for $20.

On the way out, my companion picked up a bottle of glitter that was on a table by the door. She has poor eyesight, and picked it up to see what the sparkling & appealing thing was. The employee yelled "she can't touch that! Put it down!' And then ran to the front of the store to chase us out. To have a person in the service industry treat us so rudely was shocking. They do text you, but we totally missed the text that said the food was ready so it wasn't hot by the time we got it. On a Sunday there weren't that many people eating in the food area. I actually really appreciate that you put in your order and then you get a text, it is much more convenient than having to sit and be waited on. They have California pizza kitchen pizzas and they're actually really good. It was very thin crust and the 14 inch probably could've fed my entire family. The kids also love the curly fries. I thought it was funny because you can choose either fries or curly fries, I chose fries and they came out curly so I guess you really can't choose. My younger son wanted the rainbow Road pancakes.
