Used Cody Pools Austin to construct my pool in 2023. Aside from the long delays and high price for the pool, there were other delays and issues that I probably don't care to get into right now. My most recent negative expeience is when I discovered a tile that just came off by itslef. Although Cody Pools advertises for 2 year "Coping" warranty, I found out that in my contract, they changed that to one year only and refused to repair the tile. It's clearly not a big deal to repair but this is just a good reflection on their ethics. read more

DO NOT USE. We are having issues with some things not even a year after build. We have called the warranty department since March and they definitely have all the calls documented. They refuse to come out and assess everything in person. we keep getting the ring around. We are in the process of looking for a lawyer now. Worst company for pool service in Austin. I manage multiple AirBnb's in Austin and surrounding areas and these folks have done a horrible job maintaining my pool in Driftwood. It has been unusable for over 3 weeks at this point. I have continued to throw money at the problems only to be told there is nothing they can do. This is the most simple pool system you can get (container pool) and they can't seem to figure it out. I would stay as far away from this company as possible. read more

Our pool turned out awesome. Being able to go to their showroom and look at how different finishes and tiles actually look in a pool under the sun was a big help. We were given multiple options for pumps and cleaning systems and pricing was up front so we knew what value to decide on based on our budget. BEWARE of CODY POOLS. Bad ethics and bad business practices. It has been over a year since they have contracted on our pool and they are still not finished. They did not show up to meetings (that they scheduled); They practiced poor attention to detail-- including incorrect plan drawings on both the sales and the construction sides; They did not build the pool according to their own plans that they submitted to the city of Lakeway (and did not consult with us about deviating from those plans), and they have not made any effort to try to rectify their errors. This has been ongoing for 17 months, and has ultimately forced us into litigation to get them to fix construction issues and omissions that they created. When you ask them to fix their errors, their response is, "this is fine the way it is; If we make any changes, it will delay construction of your pool." If you're looking to build a pool, I'd look at any other pool builder in the Austin area. To Alicia L. in the review from August 2025 who said she needed a lawyer--You can team up with us. We have a good lawyer and based on your review, knowing what we're dealing with right now with an unfinished pool, it is even more worrisome that they will not warrant their product after completion. read more
