Located in Balcony House at Winter Park, this small bistro offers indoor and outdoor dining with coffee, fancy coffee and tea. They also have beer, wine and cocktails. The food offered is mostly breakfast and lunch along with a display of baked goods in the case. The service is very friendly and I've often seen ski patrol and ski instructors having a coffee or some food here. With a Winter Park season pass, you can receive a discount just like the Winter Park restaurants (although this is privately owned). You order, then wait for them to call your name to get your drinks and food. The coffee and teas are delicious. The food is fast service, but also delicious. We had the breakfast burrito with green chili and they were great! You can also get food to go, and take it into balcony house where there is often more seating. The little cafe is located across from the Gondola entrance upstairs In Balcony House at Winter Park Resort. Separate your skis or lock them up when you go in, just an FYI. I will say it again "separate or lock up your skis at the base". Thieves love opportunity. read more

Bad a bad experience here this morning. When I finally got to the cashier and she asked for my order she then proceeded to shout over me at her coworkers. I asked about the breakfast burrito to see if there was pork in the green chili because if not I would pay the up-charge to get bacon or something. She said there was but it comes on top so I asked for it in the inside so I could grab it to go ip the gondola. Instead of pork green chili it was a veggie burrito with salsa. It would take to long to get a new order so just had a sad burrito with egg and salsa. Maybe others will have a better experience but mine wasn't great. read more

We didn't find this place until day 3. IF you're going to eat resort provided lunch at Winter Park, this is THE BEST place to do so. The prices are higher than anywhere outside the resort, which is to be expected, but they are not crazy. The restaurant is tucked away in the balcony house at the base, which has a large open space with tables that isn't too crowded. There isn't much of a sign to indicate the good food inside, you just sort of have to find it. Once found, they have very good food. They have excellent meat pies, red chili, green chili and a variety of other things for lunch options. They also have many bakery items and coffee options for brunch as well. We ate lunch here every day after we found it! read more

Friendly staff, fair prices and quality coffee. That's all you can ask for and that's exactly what you'll get here. Though, I am a little biased, as an employee of the resort, the prices are even more ideal! Though, as it goes for drinking at the resort, you probably wont be able to find beer for a better deal. Great place to stop before you start skiing if you want some hot cocoa or coffee. Their baked goods are also really tasty - cinnamon buns are the best! You can also access some free wifi and watch some TV in the small, but cozy setting. It has some couches to lounge around on or some tabled seating. If the weather isn't too cold or snowing too hard, you can take your order outside and watch people come down the slopes. read more

Winter Park hosts and lift workers are Super Nice and so is the staff and C&T. Most of the places within Winter Park don't share the same customer service mindset, but this place is Great. They have fantastic Spicy Bloody Marys and they are on cheaper on Sundays. They are quick to get orders and while the place is usually pretty crowded, the line moves fast. If you decide to check out the bloody mary, but aren't getting food... you can step right up to the bar and avoid the line. They don't take American Express, but I think they accept eveything else. Good food and coffee but the lady who must be the owner is a real piece of work. We found a table so I nicely asked the cook of he could make it for here rather than to go. He had no problem with is but then I was scolded for talking to the cook and told that I would not do that at Denny's and to not do it next time. There will be no next time I promise. By the way, the cooks at Denny's don't go out into the seating area to deliver the food to the customers. Best of luck with that nasty attitude. read more

My husband and I LOVED coming here for breakfast before skiing. The mocha is so so yummy!.. I tried recreating it at home since we live so far away (Kansas), but failed. We shared the giant breakfast sandwiches and even stopped in for chocolate cake the same afternoon! The atmosphere is perfect for a ski resort, great music and all! We will be back! read more

The Coffee & Tea Market has been in this same location for over 30 years. Alex, who works behind the counter (and bar) is the daughter of the founder (her mom). The only independent vendor on the mountain, serves great green tea, and has excellent cherry pie, and assorted homemade pastries. Great view. The bar here opens early (7am) and features specials like "Bloody Sunday", featuring the locally-made spicy green pepper vodka. A TV on the wall is popular with Bronco fans during game time. When the sun is out (and its warm), sit outside on the deck. read more

What a cool place! This is a pretty rare place, from my experiences visiting ski areas. It is a solid cafe with good selection of food and beverage, in a prime location with a solid pedigree. Coffee & Tea Market is a cafe in a retro 60s building with funky roof line and authentic green print wall paper. The market faces the hill (Hughes run) and is lined with windows. The menu is the usual for cafe, coffee and other hot beverages, baked goods, and assorted hot breakfast dishes. I didn't visit for lunch so I am not sure of their midday menu. I had a very tasty breakfast sandwich with a good combination of fresh ingredients, croissant, bacon, and egg. Food is prepared as it is ordered, so you know it is fresh. I love the nostalgic signs on the walls as well as the drink specials, this would be my destination for lunch or apres ski. read more

Over $20 for three cokes and a smoothie. After I paid (including 15% tip for pouring liquid in a glass), was told they had no lids for the cups. Nothing like giving kids a full glass of coke with no lid to splash around the car. Why didn't you mention that when I ordered or offer to put in a disposable coffee cup with a lid? Instead you said we are out of lids and walked away. Bad customer service!!!! read more

Absolutely love c&t! Come here pretty much everyday I am at WP. Great atmosphere, great service, great products. You will walk in and have a 20 person line and then 'poof' before you know it, you have paid and have your coffee. Always get a muffin or pastry if you are in a hurry. While the sandwiches are well worth the wait, you will have to wait fifteen+ minutes when busy. Also, their almond croissant is a perfect pastry. I always get one. Also, also, the best way to start your day is their "dirty Russian" a white Russian with a shot of espresso. The only hard question is to get it hot or cold. I prefer hot to accent their awesome espresso. But it is your choice. See you there! read more

Coffee and Tea Market is a WP Base Staple for more than 30 years: I previously lived in WP for 2 ski seasons, and now I'm there nearly every weekend from Denver, as a "semi" part time local. I truly love a visit to C and T Market after skiing. Great value for the $2 Latte's, delicious pastries and treats. On the sunny ski days, nothing better than sitting on the outside deck, enjoy a coffee or a cocktail, bagging rays with the sunshine on your dial, before it sinks behind upper and lower Hughes :) Cheers! read more
