It is a stand, and from what I can see they keep their equipment clean. The folks that work here are always super nice and friendly. I have not had much food here, but they get to serve excellent pretzel dogs and the cookies are delicious. The most important part is the coffee. My usual here is the dirty chai latte or the caramel macchiato layered. Coffee is nice and dark roasted tasting which is my preference and I usually get an extra shot.
