Dirty almond milk chai - yummers!
Dazzle R.

We were looking for non-Starbucks coffee after an appt in a town we don't frequent and came across Paesano's. Despite having a drive thru, we ventured in and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of baked goods, and food items! A decent amount of GF items too. My dirty almond milk chai was perfection. Service was a delight, and drinks were made with the quickness. If we didn't have places to be, the comfy couches would've been where I enjoyed my drink.

baristas are super friendly, always greeting you with a smile. service is quick & efficient, & they have plenty of coffee & baked treats to offer. they even do seasonal drinks & foods - such as fresh ice cream in the summer ! they're coffee as well smells amazing, & if your not a coffee person, they as well serve tea, energy drink mixes, & non-caffinated beverages.

Finally decided to try out Paesano's this morning, and we were so pleasantly surprised! Really yummy drinks, and huge bagels that were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back to try out more of their menu. Love the location as well!

I'm sure this place is wonderful. The atmosphere was nice. When I got to the counter I asked for the vegan burrito (which is on their menu)... the person at the counter told me that the burrito isn't actually vegan because it still has egg/cheese? I was confused because on the menu under the "burrito", it has "vegan" as an option. I'm not sure if there was some confusion or something, but the lady apologized. False advertisement is the reason for the 2 stars :/

Excited to try! Great pastry selection

Ask the Community - Paesano's Coffee & Cafe

Does Paesano's offer coconut milk alternative and/or gluten free baked goods?

Yes we always have coconut milk and for gluten free we order from I Can't Believe It's Vegan. On a regular basis we stock gluten free/vegan Raspberry and Pumpkin scones and then a chocolate peanut butter dessert bar (that is amazing) that is GF and…

I didn't try the coffee but my ice tea was great. We decided to split the Gutbuster omelette. And it's good we did because it was a huge plate of food. Truly lived up to its name. I have to admit the hashbrowns were PERFECT! Crispy on the outside, not oily, and thick and soft on the inside. The omelette filling was super tasty! One thing I will say...it looks like ALL the dishes are more than generous. When I saw the fries go by on someone else's plate, I almost regretted not ordering some because they looked so legit. But it'll just give me another reason to come back. Both waitresses we interacted with were super friendly and attentive. It's amazing how they successfully juggled guests and plates. Though it was a busy morning, found a parking near the Starbucks drive-thru. A nice and cozy place inside, no trouble finding a table. The coffee was served right after we were seated. I'm stunned that the kitchen can stay on top of it while making tasty food and maintaining timely and competent service. Maybe they have a hidden genie helping them? In any case, it's impressive. My first time there was for dinner and I ordered some sort of steak dish on the server's recommendation. I have to say the sides were great but the steak was just "OK", because it had the downside of 90% of restaurant steaks: no crust. still, it was decently seasoned and cooked to a perfect mid rare; For breakfast, they absolutely hit it out of the park. Some of the best breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere. In fact, inside the historic district of Snohomish (draw a rectangle between 3rd and the Snohomish River N/S and then Ave E and the Pilchuk River W/E), this is the best breakfast to be had, and I've tried the three other major sit-down breakfast options. What has me certain to come back is the stunning ambiance. The owners / management have an obvious love of Snohomish's historic Americana. Sitting in the dining room feeds your soul.

I opted for an eggs Benedict with shrimp and crab, which was delicious and I got a lot of large bites of crab leg. The food isn't anything extraordinary but everything combined with good service and a beautiful place to look at and sit make it's worth while. I also appreciated how attentive our waitress was with refilling my soda. I feel like parking around the area could be a little tricky since it's a lot of side street and it's adjacent to the historic downtown area.

We stopped in for brunch and I got my usual tarragon chicken sandwich and he got the chicken friend steak. I got water and he had asked for a Snohomish Coffee, which included alcohol, to which the waitress repeated "Snohomish Coffee", but he received a regular drip coffee. Neither of us were upset and didn't ask for a correction as it was busy and a simple oversight. When I ordered my sandwich, I asked for the pasta salad as my side and a side salad to add on. When my meal arrived, the pasta salad was replaced with the salad which, again, was fine and I didn't bring it up to the waitress - she seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people in the restaurant. When the bill came, I had noticed a $4.25 charge for the salad and asked about the amount. I told the waitress that I hadn't received my pasta salad, emphasizing that this was totally okay, I was more confused about the price. On the menu, it notes that side salad substitutions are $3.00, not $4.25. She informed me this was her first day, and as someone who worked in the industry for many years, I completely understood. She said she would ask and came back saying the price was correct but they hadn't updated prices on the menu yet. This didn't sit too well with me, but I left it as to not go back and forth. After all, the waitress doesn't control prices. However, if a price is posted, that's what should be on the ticket, whether it's been updated or not. The nail in the coffin for me was after I paid in cash, I thanked the waitress twice. She not only stopped making eye contact with me after the price incident, she said not a word either. No "thank you", no "thanks for coming in", not any acknowledgement of my existence. She put the change on the table and walked away. Again, as someone who has worked in the industry, when something (like prices) is out of my control, I still would apologize for the confusion or misunderstanding, and try to make things right or at least have the customer leave with some sort of sense of resolution. That was not attempted. I loved this place for years but unfortunately after today's interaction, I am not confident I will be back.
