    Iced Groovy Latte
    Angel C.

Coffee from a VW bus in Ewa Beach! The menu is also cute with drink names inspired by the 1960s. It's been months since I've visited, but the Groovy Latte was pretty good. I ordered a cold brew for my husband since he normally prefers black coffees over sweet and creamy coffee drinks. Yes, the menu is filled with lattes with some matcha and teas. The cruiser also sells pastries supplied by local bakers Wednesdays and Saturdays! I've tried the raspberry croissant from Lyman Lattes. Small, but pretty good. She also sells conchas (Mexican sweet bread) by Solo Conchas. I've tried Solo from other locations. The Puerquito (gingerbread cookie) and the vanilla concha are my favorites!

Cruising in Ewa... Is this adorable VW bus parked right on Ko'ana St just curbside of Laulani Community Park so if there no parking just do what I did I'd park at the park which I ended up relaxing and enjoying my sip. As a primary Matcha lover it was nice to see that they have a few options on their regular menu but you know I always prefer to try specials and as June is Pride month what better than "Love is Love" and yes it had to be Matcha as I watch the process of whisking the matcha that's added to the strawberry syrup mixed into Almond milk (my choice) and topped with matcha and marshmallow whipped cream what better than some sprinkles of Fruity Pebbles. The staff who was helping out a friend was here for just two days and yes how lucky I was to embraced one of them woohoo! I really loved this drink OH and a couple of Brownaner by Chat's Sweets is a cute cupcake that's brownie which is brownie layered with banana woooahhhh!!!! Lots of creativity in one cute spot and is not to be missed just check out their instagram @coffecruiserhi for updates and info. Thank you!

My go to coffee/matcha place! love her cute Volkswagen ! Almost every time I go there's a line but it's worth it! There's so much parking, playground in the same area! I recommend Groovy and Strawberry Matcha! Cons: loyalty stamp card is per visit not per drink and wait is about 10-20 minutes

The cutest coffee shop on WHEELS Owner is the sweetest! She makes her drinks with love. Her energy is always the best! My fav drink on her menu is the Groovy latte. It's hazelnut & white mocha! Love that this coffee cruiser is so close to home. She also carries bakery goodies!

    Surfs Up Latte

Caught this cute little coffee van on our way over to the west side of the island! They were parked in a residential area and I loved the colorful fun aesthetic! I looked at their menu ahead of time which is conveniently available on their Instagram, and you can also find their whereabouts on their Instagram page also. So many different drinks and even a seasonal menu! I chose the Cosmic which is strawberry and white chocolate and it was right up my alley - sweeter drink! My husband got the Surf's Up which was definitely more of a coffee flavor. Overall loved the concept and the variety of options but it wasn't the best or strongest coffee. Worth one visit at least though!

I tried coffee cruiser for the first time this weekend after wanting to try it for months. I got the rated R latte which was a whole milk latte with ube and strawberry syrup. It was so good, one of the best lattes I've had! The syrups were so good and not overly sweet. My husband picked it up for me and brought it home but he says the truck was really cute and the line moved quickly. Will definitely return for the holiday drinks coming up!

Still great place to grab specialty coffees and support local. My middle baby loves when she spots her favorite VW bus out and begs for coffee cruiser.

Jungle fever (Mac nut, white chocolate)

Finally got a chance to stop by and give her a try. Went around 10am and the line was crazy busy like when she first opens. I got 2 drink groovy and jungle fever! Both were very good, not too sweet and not too much of a coffee taste, it was well balanced! There is a lot of parking since there is a small parking lot right behind her van! But if you go during rush hour just be prepared to wait because there is only 1 person taking orders and 1 person making the drinks!

Great location and super good coffee and matcha. Pastries are super onoliscious too! Brit is a fantastic barista. And all from a super cool 1973 VW van. Mahalos from your Volcano peeps!

Such a cute little creative coffee shop on wheels! Had the coco loco and a mini croissant and was quite impressed! It was an equal balance of coffee and coconut flavor . Croissant tasted fresh baked as well. Wish there was a bigger version lol!

Coffee cruiser has some of the yummiest, cutest drinks on the west side. I cannot tell you enough how delish all the drinks are. The pastries are also SO YUMMY

    Melanie M.

The best coffee, matcha, and tea in a cute little cruiser. She also offers pastries from other local bakers. Go early tho line will be a little long but it's worth the wait every time.

I hit follow right away -- and when I saw they were nearby, I waddled my very pregnant self over to grab a plate. I ordered their Combo Plate: two scoops rice sprinkled with furikake, crab potato salad, fried noodles, and two proteins. I chose garlic fried chicken and teri beef. It was so good I actually cried a little. Living on the Big Island, everything was so far, and I couldn't satisfy my cravings easily -- so finally having a real plate lunch felt like comfort and home all at once. I hadn't been back since, mostly because they don't have a set schedule, and whenever they were close by, Bubba would be napping or I'd find out too late. But today, I finally got to go again -- and this time I brought Bubba. And she remembered me. "Weren't you pregnant last time?" she said. Such a small thing, but honestly an amazing memory and such a warm customer experience. Bubba and I had a little sidewalk picnic together. He tried fried noodles for the first time, loved the teri beef, and of course devoured the rice -- his forever favorite. I saved half the plate for my boyfriend since he's working. It felt like such a full-circle moment... sharing with my son the exact plate lunch that made me cry (in the best way) when I was pregnant with him.

The rolls were tasty and the fried chicken was crispy skin and a lightly salted. Told the girl inside the truck we looked for you guys last week thursday and you guys wasn't there. She started to laugh explaining why they weren't there but I cut her off and said that day we came back 3 times couldn't find them we went home. LOL. Took a picture of their menu. For months my boyfriend had been wanting to try these smash burgers, but he works during the day--and I honestly didn't think they'd survive the wait until he got home. Thankfully, we finally got to try them together, and it was so worth it. This is a true one-man operation, so it does take a bit of time to place your order--but trust me, the wait pays off. My boyfriend got the OG Smash Burger and immediately regretted not adding an extra patty... or ordering a second burger altogether. I went with the Pineapple Express, and as my very first smash burger experience? I was obsessed. Pro tip: get your own fries. You will not want to share. You will side-eye the other person. And yes, it could absolutely start a fight over who ate more. Adrian's Smash Burger is open Monday-Friday, 10 AM-3 PM. For weekend hours, check their Instagram. Love that they put the spice level beside each item for a heads up the staff here is nice and as they were more flooded with orders than I realized as they do take phone orders it did take a bit for my order. Since I was dining right there among the bench it didn't need to be separated and loved that it was served on a tray along with a side of kimchee yum the ramyun had a soft cooked egg and some carrots a nice and simple snack which gave me much needed boost though as it was basically no different than a bowl of instant noodle this was crazy overpriced and glad that I didn't get the soft tofu which was $13.50 which I didn't need that type of spice in my life. I then noticed it was back again this morning! I looked up the name on Instagram and found out they were serving up Mexican food! My hubby loves Mexican so we had to try it out. First off, the customer service was amazing! They talked story with us, asked tons of questions about what we wanted in each order since everything is made to order. Here's what we got: 1. Beef Nachos: we ordered the small portion but this was HUGE! It has cheese, choice of beef or chicken, onions, cilantro, & sour cream. My hubby loves nacho cheese so he loved this! There was a generous portion of beef on top too. 2. Cheese Quesadilla: this was actually a kids quesadilla but it was definitely a regular sized one! It was simple with just cheese & tortilla but, they did not skimp on the cheese. It was THICK! 3. Chicken Burrito: this was definitely the star of the show! It was HUGE! Hubby and I shared it and couldn't finish it. It was stuffed with pico, flavorful chicken, cheese, sour cream, beans & rice. It was messy but sooo good! Highly recommend! Overall, it's dangerous how often and close they are to where we live! We'll definitely be back!

The service was sufficient (low contact - could be off-putting to some.) The food was cooked on the spot, at least, the fried part was. My thing is, I've had different preparations of both the lechon and sisig before. I have to say that the ones I got from home-cooked versions versus commercial versions are different (at least for me it has.) It seems as if the sisig and lechon were initially boiled to cook it thoroughly, then they fry it before they serve it to you to get that crispy feel from the skin. The thing is, the jello-like/slightly slimy texture of the fat leads one to believe that it was boiled first or at least not fried thoroughly. There's nothing wrong with boiling as long as the skin and fat come through as crispy. The skin was crispy, but the fat wasn't. Perhaps, they just need to fry it a little more. Other than that, if it was crispy throughout, I would've given it 5 stars. I'm looking forward to trying the other things on the menu like the beef pares.
