I love the convenient location and come here pretty often. The drinks and desserts are always amazing (the pina colada scone ‍), which is why it's disappointing to have had such a negative experience with the service. I'm late to the game. How have I never tried this company!? The day I came in, the line was long and so I decided to take a look at their items for sale, I stumbled across the cookie butter powder, I'll definitely be buying more of that. It's awesome for making drinks at home without the total mess of cookie butter. Besides the line being long, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had such a great experience at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf 6/23, that I had to leave a review. I stopped by around 3 PM and decided to try the new ube latte...so good by the way. Creamy, not too sweet, and super satisfying. The young man working (no name tag, unfortunately; tall Filipino) was running the store solo, and it was honestly impressive to watch. In just the 10 minutes I was there, he took multiple orders, answered questions, made the drinks, and even brought them out. All with speed, efficiency, and great customer service. From my current experience. Did you know that you are not a customer till you purchase something? I went in the shop with my other half who was deciding on her drink and I wanted to use the restroom. To my surprise Lily said " the restroom was only for customers" I pointed at my other half at the table and she again said " the restroom is only for customers it's our policy". This CBTL location is really close to my home and conveniently located near two places that I frequent--Longs and Foodland. So if I'm craving a coffee or blended drink, it's my go-to location. I don't indulge often, but when I'm in the area for a vaccine (at Longs), etc., sometimes I like a treat. I like that CBTL frequently has special deals, whether it's a Monday special, holiday deal, or the deal they're currently offering for Subaru owners (just show your car key). They really bring the cost of drinks down to a more "affordable" rate, and I prefer their variety of menu items to their competitors. Plenty of parking in the big lot! read more

I had the most offensive experience at this location. I ordered a cappuccino and the young man taking my order asked me if I wanted it hot or iced. So I thought oh I'll have it iced. The lady making the drinks gruffly said that there's no such thing as an iced cappuccino. So I said fine just make the cappuccino and pour ir over ice. Then she gruffly said that that's a macchiato. Ok fine whatever. I was going order other things but quickly decided not to. I just told the young man that's all. I have never seen an employee speak to a customer in that manner. To make it even worse she never let me knowy drink was ready. It sat there for I don't know how long and I literally had to ask it that was my drink. When my other friend arrived that same young lady was not helpful or friendly at all. There was only one person ahead of me and the cashier taking the order decided to make their drink first instead of taking my order, even though there was someone already making drinks.
