    Coffee truck

Who starts their day without a cup of coffee? I had always gone to Starbucks before I found this coffee truck. Now, Drive-Thru Joe is my go-to location for coffee. I love their regular-size Tuxedo coffee ($6.25). Their other drinks are fantastic, and they have some food options to accompany your drink. Bad: - They have limited food options, and I wish there were more options. - Business hours are not as military-friendly as Starbucks at the PX. Good: - As you can see from the company's name, everything happens without you getting out of the vehicle! - Various options of drinks you can select from! - Friendly staff with delicious coffee! Conclusion: Coffee and energy drinks are in our blood, and we cannot operate without them. The line may look long, but they serve quickly. Select your options from the Ice Cream series, Signatures, Energy infusion, Traditional, Alternative Classics, and Lifestyle Options. One thing to remember is that you may want to go somewhere else to grab some food.

Possibly my new favorite coffee spot?? I've been a couple of times so far and have yet to be disappointed. I'm not aware of many other coffee trucks with drive thrus as convenient as this one on island so I'm more than happy to make the commute when I'm craving something yummy but don't feel like getting out of my car. The line may look long but it goes by pretty quickly! Make sure to check out their holiday menu when it's in season! Their Fall pumpkin drinks were amazing... I'm sure their Christmas ones will be too!

    They do walk-ups too!

If you ever find yourself at the Commissary parking lot on Schofield base, the line of cars you'll see near the street isn't to get into the grocery store; it's to get coffee! I've had my eye on this place as I always see the line of cars waiting to get their orders in. The long line proved its popularity, but I couldn't get myself to sit in a still car with my newborn baby in the backseat (mamas, you know what I'm talking about - baby won't sleep unless there's motion in the car!) Luckily, I walked up to the counter to check out the menu, assuming it was a drive-thru only, but nope, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they take walk-ups too! The staff are so friendly and gave me recommendations on their best sellers. I got their most popular drink, Tan Line. It was definitely on the sweeter side, but it was delicious nonetheless. The workers were so patient and accommodating; they made my drink in a quick and timely manner and even offered an exchange if I wasn't satisfied with their recommendation. For the price and the size, the product was great. You could taste the richness of the coffee and it's perfect roast, nicely complimented with all the other flavors this drink had with it. Definitely a good bang for your buck, especially in comparison to other coffee shops around. While this place is already popin' in terms of business, I highly recommend this cute, army green trailer parked to the right of the Commissary. Not only are you supporting local, but you are supporting a woman-owned and woman-ran veteran business.

This is just a temp review... I'll have to have another visit before I give my final review lol. I saw somewhere they had a smore coffee so I had to try. I always see Keri S. Having a banana bread chai drink I believe. So I'll need to get that one next. I'm not a huge fan of chai, but I have an open mind and banana bread, why not?! I have no idea what operations are like pre-covid, but its exactly as the name says. Drive thru Joe. Enter the commissary parking lot and make a right to the end to wait in line. Someone comes right up to your car to take your order, accept payment, then they run back your order when its ready. I can't give an honest opinion of the coffee. Major fail on my end. I wanted to try it so bad. I had clients scheduled in the area, so I picked up before my visits. As usual, whenever I get a coffee before work, it doesn't really get a chance to get in my belly til hours later. This was no exception. Left my drink in the car and still drank it. It was good, but I'm sure the flavors could've been way better fresh. Its not super often that I venture this way. I don't have base access so I either have a good reason with a day pass, or tag along with Mr G. Another bummer for me is the hours. Getting out this way before noon, for me, has got to be a huge anomoly! But, trust, I will make it there again to give it a fair shot!

So it has been quite some time since this place has opened. It is my go to place for coffee. What I love the most is they change the menu up all the time! So far everything I have tried has been phenomenal. Here are my faves if you ever wonder what is good: - Hot or iced Latte with peppermint and white mocha. Ahh..it is like christmas in a cup all day, everyday. - Hot or iced Banana Nut Bread Chai. This baby is SO GOOD, it converted all my coworkers to DTJ addicts. - Caramel Creme Cold Brew Overall, I am always checking out their new coffee concoctions! They have new ones almost every month! They even have a keto coldbrew with 20g of protein. How fab is that! Anyway, if you are ever in the Schofield area, check this place out.

Staff was friendly and helpful. My first time they helped me pick something from the menu I might like. I got the tan line ice latte . It's my new favorite drink. I also like that my drink isn't full of ice. I hate getting ice lattes within two sips you're done because the cup is filled to the top with ice. You won't find this problem here . My drink is still cold with minimal ice.

Joe's had amazing coffee. I ordered a caramel Frappuccino. The served it to me in under 2 minutes. The ambiance gave off small town vibes.

The shrimp were nice and crispy! Loved the mac n cheese and those greens with the bacon... Soooooooo good! Nice butter corn and cornbread! Oh, and we got lumpia too...and you need to go early or they will be sold out! Shawna also gave a sample of the shrimp and catfish while we were waiting. That was really nice of her. I'm normally not the biggest fan of shrimp, so I don't usually gravitate towards it. But I wish I wasn't so stubborn because the few bites I had of both the Butter Garlic Shrimp and Spicy Garlic Shrimp completely changed my mind. Since I'm not the biggest spice person, I preferred the butter garlic option. The shrimps aren't peeled, but they're butterflied, which makes them much easier to peel. The shell itself is packed with flavor, though, so I recommend sucking it before removing. The rice was flavorful, and the salad on the side was refreshing. I simply regret not ordering a plate of shrimp for myself. I'm a lazy person and don't like peeling shrimp, but this was worth peeling for.

Jenny, the founder, was inspired by the rich seafood culture of Hawaii and wanted to share her love for local flavors with the community. Armed with a secret garlic butter recipe passed down through generations, she set out to create something truly special. In the early days, Jenny's food truck was nothing more than a converted van with a makeshift kitchen, parked along the scenic roads of Haleiwa. She focused on using locally sourced shrimp, ensuring that every plate was as fresh as possible. Word quickly spread about the delicious shrimp dishes, and soon, both locals and tourists were lining up to get a taste. JENNY'S SHRIMP TRUCK MISSION STATEMENT: A Taste of Hawaiian Paradise Nestled in the heart of Haleiwa, Hawaii, Jenny's Shrimp Truck is a must-visit destination for seafood lovers looking for a true taste. BACKGROUND ON VISIT: This was part of our Dole Plantation/Haleiwa tour that we signed up for. Lunch wasn't provided so this was on our own dime. CREDIT CARDS: They're accepted, but they tack on a transaction fee. RESTROOM: There's a restroom next door. AMBIANCE/DECOR: Not much ambiance, but they do have tables and chairs setup in their covered patio. SERVICE: Service was alright. Didn't take long for our food to come out. FOOD OF CHOICE: Garlic shrimp plate which came with rice and a slice of pineapple. Enjoyed the shrimp. It was quite tasty and easy to peel. I had a nice time eating the rice with their signature garlic sauce. SHRIMP TRUCK FOR THOUGHT: I would love to come back to have it again.
