    Taro Mochi drink

Staff friendly and fast. Busboy is fast in cleaning up. Ambiance medium noise and lots of laughter and talk. Banana Mochi was tasty.... The BALT had smoothness of avocado and smoky bacon flavor,,,and washed it down with ginger peach tea...love the sweet potato fries and banana mochi as a dessert... yummy. Ciao baby!!!

To say this place is amazing would be an understatement. We visited every day during our trip and looked forward to it each time. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. While it can get busy, the line moves quickly and efficiently. The coffee is rich, flavorful, and full-bodied, and the açaí bowls are fresh with ingredients you can tell are high quality. Everything we tried was consistently excellent. Needless to say, this is one of the places we'll miss most from our trip, and we're already planning our next visit.

I come here on my own sometimes and I bring a book with me or something to work on. I love getting their Lox bagel with the side salad it comes with. Before switching it to fries, try the salad at least once! I think it's really good, I never swap it :). They get busy but the line usually moves quick and they have lots of seating inside and some outside. They now added QR codes if you're planning on dining in, you can just seat yourself, scan the code, and order from right there instead of waiting in line! Super useful when I don't have a lot of time. Even though it's usually busy, the noise level isn't too loud in my opinion it's still just background noise and it's perfect for me to be able to focus on reading.

Came here for the first time. We ordered Kimchi fried rice, Eggs, sausage, and rice, Waialua Moana Açaí Bowl, the Original Açaí Bowl, and for the drinks, the blended Vintage Kona Mocha. The açaí bowls were packed with deliciousness and flavor. The egg breakfast was nothing special and the kimchi fried rice was also good, but definitely not a traditional kimchi fried rice. They should advertise it as something else. The staff were super friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at and lots of available parking.

On Mother's Day I went in for one drink an iced lava mocha. There was a line, a wait to order and to receive my one drink. Service wasn't the best, I understand that it was Mother's Day, However, service could have been better. My drink wasn't the best tasting one and consistent with ones that I've tasted previously. Disappointed! Hopefully on my next visit it will be a better one.

I hadn't been to the Kapolei location in quite a while, and I noticed they now have a new ordering system. You can either stand in line and order as before or grab a table, scan the QR code, and order and pay directly from your phone. We decided to try the mobile ordering option. I ordered the Original Acai Bowl. As always, the presentation was beautiful, but the acai itself was disappointing. Instead of the thick, spoonable consistency I was expecting, the base was more like an acai smoothie. If I wanted a smoothie, I would have ordered one. The toppings were great, but the consistency of the acai really changed the overall experience. Service also felt minimal. Since we ordered and paid on our phones and had to get our own water, the only service we really received was having our food brought to the table. We still tipped around 20%, but it didn't feel like the level of service matched the tip. Overall, this visit didn't live up to my previous experiences here. While I appreciate the convenience of the new ordering system, the change in the acai bowl and the limited service make me question whether I'll be returning anytime soon.

Keiki Breakfast with egg, sausage and furikake rice

Today we had brunch at the Island Vintage Coffee restaurant. It's a local restaurant frequented by locals and located inside of an outdoor shopping plaza. They have ample parking in an adjacent lot, plenty of seating, and very clean. The servers are friendly and helpful and can answer all of those questions. We ordered a few ham and cheese breakfast croissants which came with a side salad, a Keiki breakfast plate with sausage, egg and furikake rice, and a lox plate which came with smoked salmon, boiled egg, tomatoes, onion, avocado and three slices of bread. The lox also came with alfalfa sprouts and a side salad with balsamic dressing. The açaí smoothie was delicious and perfectly sweetened and they use soy milk in case you are lactose intolerant. Overall, for the price, convenience, and good food quality, Island Village Coffee is a new favorite when visiting Ko'Olina!!

    Braised beef loco moco

Line looks long sometimes but it goes by fast. So many options! We went for a birthday dinner. Got braised beef loco moco, garlic shrimp, spicy shoyu poke, and portobello fries x2. Nothing tasted mediocre. All of it was delicious that we couldn't pick a favorite. Had live music in the outdoor area when we went too. Another great thing is it doesn't break the wallet.

Headed over to Island Vintage Coffee to meet up with one of my best girlfriends to catch up and hang out for a bit. I've been here before for business, but this was my first time actually eating--and my friend's first time visiting at all. I chose this spot because as a vegan, I know they have healthy options, but also a wide range of food so there's really something for everyone--and I was right! Neither of us were disappointed. I couldn't believe how big the portions were, and the staff were all so kind, patiently answering my questions about ingredients and sauces. Ordering is done at the counter, where you get a number and they bring the food out to you. They also had a steady flow of to-go orders and were getting everything out quickly, which was impressive. There's plenty of free parking and tons of indoor seating, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. My friend already said she'll definitely be back--and even plans to bring her mom next time. At the register I met uncle who was visiting his daughter and asked if he wanted to be part of my Yelp review and he said absolutely! So fun!! Such a win--great food and the perfect spot to catch up with a good friend SYOY! Deb B.

    Spicy poke salad
    Emily M.

Absolutely LOVED the matcha with the haupia cold foam. I liked the wagyu cheeseburger! The French fries with the garlic aioli are so yummy! My partner loved the spicy poke salad and would love to get it again but with the dressing they put on the side salad! I still want to try the acai bowls next time. A little pricey. Great vibes and service.

This spot was ALOHA. You order in line first then they bring you your food to your table. I had the BALT sandwich on sourdough. They let me add an egg in the sandwich which was dynamite. The balsamic salad was excellent as well. I also had the Hawaiian honey latte on Ice which sounded better than it was. Service was excellent. Mahalo!

Lanai Smoothie + Lilikoi Papaya Acai Bowl
    Amber Ashley T.

Was in the area and decided to try the acai bowls and drinks from numerous tiktok reviews. It was rather busy inside around 12PM with lots of people eating in and lots of to go orders. You do have the ability to order online and they have a good system for their hot food and cold food for pickup. There was a bit line to order, but went by fast. We ordered the Lilikoi Manoa Acai Bowl and Lanai Smoothie, Honestly, my family and I were completely blown away. It was so fresh and the flavors balanced each other well. The Lilikoi Manoa Acai had me craving it every day during my HI trip. The Lanai Smoothie tasted perfectly sweetened and just right for a refreshing sweet drink. Definitely worth all the hype!

What time does it get crowded on Saturday morning?

    About 8:30 to 9:00AM.

I dont see the taro or ube bagel with vegan Haupia cream on the current menu anymore, is it still on Their menu to order?

    Is there a kids menu?

I don't believe so, only their regular menu plus their plant-based menu

Is there plenty of parking and if so, is there a parking fee?

Plenty of free parking for customers!! But when it gets crowded you may have to park a little farther away.

Is this a good remote working spot? Some posts say it's kinda busy during the day. Is it too crowded to even try? Or maybe plan on staying less than 2 hours?

It is possible if you get a good seating. It does get busy as it is the only island vintage near by on the west side. But if you can get a good seat and plan only on staying less than 2 hours while being able to work with some noise and others…

Is there a breakfast and lunch menu? Or you can order lunch during breakfast hours?

The kama'aina fried rice was filled with lots of meat: bacon, spam, ham, and Portuguese sausage. It was pretty good. The pancake flight was okay. Would've been better if I could choose the pancakes. Overall, the lilikoi pancake was the best! I didn't too much favor the chocolate taro-haupia or the cookie butta lava. The Kalua pork omelette was good, but I wish there was more meat inside. All the portions were very generous. The only thing we didn't like was that everything was overloaded with onions. And I LOVE onions, but even I thought it was too much. For that reason, my family didn't care too much for their meals. Overall, we had a fair experience. Seating is a little tight, but we were still comfortable. The only inconvenience was the bathroom on the top floor, which can be difficult when you have little kids.

The GOOD: unlimited steamed lobster, snow crab, fresh poke, oysters, decent service, and lovely live music. The BAD/AVERAGE: - We were told that some of their ceiling fans weren't working so it gets pretty hot if you're seated by the pool/live music area. Our table also rocked back and forth throughout the meal. It's starting to feel outdated. -There were flies around some of food -The prime rib was the driest/overcooked I've ever had at a buffet, and the lechon was mostly dry as well with some parts were hard crispy. -Compared to previous visits, there was no sashimi station or steamed dim sum, which was a huge disappointment, especially since they had already done away with the pan-grilled lobster. -For the cooked/hot dishes, there were egg foo yung, stir fried veggies, one chicken dish, one lamb dish, and noe pasta. Also were average taste, and just very limited options compared to other brunch/lunch buffets! -There was also a whole cooked fish sitting on the opposite side of the buffet, away from the seafood station, with no label at all. It was completely untouched the entire time we were there, which honestly said a lot. -The ramen bar is a cool concept, but the broths don't taste good and had odd topping choices. -The dessert selection felt limited, and the vanilla ice cream had a strange texture that fell apart instead of being creamy. What frustrates us the most is that the price continues to increase (3-4 times), yet nothing really stood out or added to justify it. If anything, it feels like there are fewer options than before. We've been coming here since the good old days too and it's apparent that it's not as amazing as before. The unlimited lobster is really the only thing that sets this buffet apart, and while I understand you won't find that at most other buffets, it's still hard to justify $135 per person for the overall experience we had. We won't be coming back.

We specifically came out to support our friend who was the musical talent providing the live entertainment from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and the vibe was so good that we stayed all the way until 9:00 PM. Because we arrived during the last 30 minutes of happy hour, we immediately ordered a major spread of pupus from the Pau Hana menu. We shared the lechon style brussel sprouts, hand-cut fries, steamed shrimp & pork won tons, scallion bread, and fish tacos. Every single bite was delicious. I paired the food with a Hana Koa Roof Top Pale Ale from their local drafts list, which was crisp and excellent. After happy hour wrapped up, I moved on to the dinner menu and ordered the Half Pound House Burger and fries for my entree. The burger was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding, and the service was prompt, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. The noise level was perfectly moderate, letting us enjoy both the live music and our own conversation. We had a great time and will absolutely be back!

I don't know if they want to keep it hidden, but I guess you could consider it that. We went in on a Saturday night with reservations and I highly recommend it since the place was full when we went in and more people kept wanting to come and eat. Service was great from beginning to end, I especially love that everyone accommodated my stroller and my baby. There were four of us and we each got something different, but to start I highly suggest the steamed shrimp and pork wontons and the lechon style Brussels - I would've double-ordered those for my entree if I could have! For entrees we ordered the garlic noodles, misoyaki butterfish, seared catch-of-the-day, and the burger. They were all amazing, and after we all started letting each other try we started making our own "flights" because everything just hit different spots and flavor profiles. In summary, this is one of those places that doesn't care about aesthetics, the decor is casual, but the food is soooo ono. They focus all their energy on food and service, and that makes a winner winner chicken dinner in my book.

I prefer plain ranch - the kids pasta was good. Well, one kiddo loved it while the other didn't. So it depends on preferences on this one. I will say i did taste it and it was meh... - another kiddo got the shoyu noodles and its plain. So if you got a simple palate plain jane child, they will like this one. For drinks, it depends on taste and preferences. I was bummed on this one. Mainly looking fwd to the drinks and it didn't satisfy my tastebuds. It was too twisted, fusion, modified etc. i prefer a mai tai a plain old fashioned mai tai without the fixings. The orange foam was too strong it overwhelmed the dark rum im used to and prefer. So i decided to try the ube rey instead which was much better but still not as much to my liking/preferences. Went back to Aulani a but bummed and decided to get another at Aulani the next day instead and I will say, i liked it better as it followed the more traditional way of making it. So if you prefer traditional ways, this may not be for you and if planning to drink, simply keep with the simplier generic drinks, wine or beer. If you prefer to try different ways and flavors, then you will love this. Service was great and our server was attentive at all times. Thank you. Ambiance was good but outdoor seating may be a bit of a nuance due to flies swarming around you often. The swinging table fan helps but are still annoying plus the tropical heat also didn't help.

Excellent food with super service and a great location just across from the Aulani and Four Seasons…read moreresort areas. We enjoyed the convenient location and tasty food - the crème pies are amazing and it is so clean and comfortable!
