If you want a large portion high quality fish plate you don't have to go to North Shore and eat off the katsu tuna truck!. Katsu Tuna and Garlic Tuna here you can't miss. i usually really like island vintage cafe because i normally have time to look through the menu and decide what i actually want. but this time, we ended up waiting in line to order instead of getting a table first, so that was my first mistake. which leads me to my second mistake... i impulse ordered and got an acai bowl and a kids mac and cheese. i also got a matcha, and that was really fire easily a 10/10. the service was also a 10/10, and my boyfriend loved his lox bagel, so there were definitely some wins! but when my acai bowl came out... i kid you not, it was granola with a side of acai. like actually crazy. there was so much granola that i genuinely had to search for the acai. and the mac and cheese??? i would totally recommend it if you have a strong stomach. unfortunately, i do not. it was basically an order of cheese with a side of mac. the cheese was fighting for its life. but besides those two questionable food decisions, everything else was awesome. the matcha was amazing, the service was great, my boyfriend was obsessed with his lox bagel, and i still really like this place overall. would i recommend island vintage cafe? absolutely. just maybe get a table first, take your time with the menu, and do not impulse order like i did. read more

The food was delicious and the portions are decent, so don't let the prices scare you away. I got a Wagyu burger with no cheese and there were two patties on there. It comes with arugula salad with a light dressing and pistachios, which was tasty. It also came with healthy sized portion of french fries. The place was crowded and there were tables inside and outside. You place your order at the main counter and they give you a number to put on your table if you choose to eat there. Waiting for the food wasn't too bad it took about 10 minutes for us to get all our food and beverages. Arrived there at about 11:20 AM on a Saturday and there was a pretty long line of people waiting to place an order and all of the tables were full. Thankfully people don't seem to stay at their tables forever, so a table freed up before we got our food. However, there was one person camped out on a table that would fit four people on it and she looked like she was going to be there for a while because she had study materials spread out on the table. read more

This is my favorite place to come when I have some "me time". The atmosphere is calming, the staff is great, and the food is so 'Ono. Not to mention their drinks are always great. You will spend more than the average to eat here, but I believe you get more than just the food/drink, you get the atmosphere as well. One thing I will say that not too many people know about, is that they have a kids menu! Every choice on there is $10 each. When I do end up bringing my babies on Bible study nights, I order them the sausage, eggs, and rice plate or the nuggets. Portions are great, enough to feed an adult, let alone a child. On average for a date, you'd pay about $80-$100 total depending what you order. But it's worth it and it's not an everyday thing. Also check out the shaved ice and ice cream! The coffee is alright! I think I've gotten the wrong order because I ordered a "pandan" drink and it wasn't really anything close to pandan. Last time, I had a "taro" drink with tapioca and it was pretty good! It didn't taste artificial and the tapioca was really tough to drink. The service was fast, we sat down for like 10 minutes outside and our plates came out. You order at this iPad and they delivered it at the table you choose, either outside or inside. The portion size is really good for the price and I took home left overs! On the table, there's these fly swatter things for the food so there weren't many bugs around. I HAD to get coffee from here while on O'ahu. The coffee was delicious. We got the Mac nut latte and the lavender latte. They were so good! We got their açaí bowl and their ube bagel sandwich with a salad. It was the perfect breakfast. Due to the excitement around this chain, I expected to wait in long lines and brought my kindle. To my surprise, I was able to order there, wait 2 minutes for my drinks and food and was one my way within 6 minutes!! The shop was so personable, the cook came out and saw who I was so they could hand off my food when it was ready!! This is over the top service and I am so grateful for the extra mile. There were plenty of spots to sit and eat, I saw some people with their laptop out and books. I would love to sit here and sip the best coffee, but alas, I have a cute little daughter who was waiting for her açaí bowl back at our hotel. Came here for the first time. We ordered Kimchi fried rice, Eggs, sausage, and rice, Waialua Moana Açaí Bowl, the Original Açaí Bowl, and for the drinks, the blended Vintage Kona Mocha. Today we had brunch at the Island Vintage Coffee restaurant. It's a local restaurant frequented by locals and located inside of an outdoor shopping plaza. They have ample parking in an adjacent lot, plenty of seating, and very clean. The servers are friendly and helpful and can answer all of those questions. We ordered a few ham and cheese breakfast croissants which came with a side salad, a Keiki breakfast plate with sausage, egg and furikake rice, and a lox plate which came with smoked salmon, boiled egg, tomatoes, onion, avocado and three slices of bread. The lox also came with alfalfa sprouts and a side salad with balsamic dressing. The açaí smoothie was delicious and perfectly sweetened and they use soy milk in case you are lactose intolerant. Overall, for the price, convenience, and good food quality, Island Village Coffee is a new favorite when visiting Ko'Olina!! read more

I come here on my own sometimes and I bring a book with me or something to work on. I love getting their Lox bagel with the side salad it comes with. Before switching it to fries, try the salad at least once! I think it's really good, I never swap it :). They get busy but the line usually moves quick and they have lots of seating inside and some outside. They now added QR codes if you're planning on dining in, you can just seat yourself, scan the code, and order from right there instead of waiting in line! I hadn't been to the Kapolei location in quite a while, and I noticed they now have a new ordering system. You can either stand in line and order as before or grab a table, scan the QR code, and order and pay directly from your phone. We decided to try the mobile ordering option. I ordered the Original Acai Bowl. As always, the presentation was beautiful, but the acai itself was disappointing. Instead of the thick, spoonable consistency I was expecting, the base was more like an acai smoothie. If I wanted a smoothie, I would have ordered one. The toppings were great, but the consistency of the acai really changed the overall experience. Service also felt minimal. Since we ordered and paid on our phones and had to get our own water, the only service we really received was having our food brought to the table. We still tipped around 20%, but it didn't feel like the level of service matched the tip. Overall, this visit didn't live up to my previous experiences here. While I appreciate the convenience of the new ordering system, the change in the acai bowl and the limited service make me question whether I'll be returning anytime soon. read more

Honestly love island vintage and have been going since 2019 when they were at Koolina! The food is amazing and the coffee is underrated. I actually worked at island vintage for over 4 years a few years ago and would say I have a greater appreciation for their menu than most. I recently visited to do some group trip planning with friends. I got there 20mins early and saved a table. I usually do this because by the time you stand in the long line and order you're stuck looking for a table, so I snagged a table and waited for my friends before standing in line. I haven't been sitting for more than 5 minutes when I was approached by a worker and asked to order something because they need the table for paying customers. This was kind of a turn off because I came here all the time during college to study. I would be here 5days a week for months and would always order something. This was not the customer service I was accustomed to. And coincidentally after being approached my friends arrived and we ordered our drinks and food. I could understand if it was busy but there were plenty of open tables.... I ordered my shoyu spicy tofu poke to be enjoyed in house. They gave my order in a plastic to go container, which was fine but I would have preferred the dine in plates. It tasted great as it always does, but did not enjoy this huge piece of sea asparagus that I found in the salad! It was kind of lazy and made it hard to eat the salad. Traveling with dietary restrictions is always hard...and it gets even harder when there are other religious or allergic preferences thrown in. Island Vintage came through so so hard when on this family trip with my parents who are lacto-vegetarian and also have an egg, onion, and garlic aversion. As you can imagine, this is really hard to juggle when dining out as most vegan, savory items inadvertently contain onion and garlic. Island Vintage has an expansive menu with plenty of omnivore, vegan, and vegetarian options. The staff was also super helpful when having to modify certain dishes to be without onion/garlic. I will also say their portions are HUGE so definitely plan on sharing, being super hungry, or having leftovers :P All great options imo. Standout dishes for us were the vegan tofu kakiage poke, the vegan "egg and bacon" sandwich, the potatoes, and the avocado toast. The kakiage (aka tempura or pakora as I jokingly called it) was super tasty and the vegan tofu poke was delish. This came on a heaping salad and healthy portion of rice so seriously a giant dish, very filling. The vegan egg and bacon sandwich was also huge and the vegan bacon seemed to be some smoked tempeh which was good! The sandwich was giant and I had a hard time getting a proper bite but good overall! The avo toast was a classic and came on some good sourdough. We were able to modify the veggie bagel to be no onion/no garlic (semi-jain, allium free) by subbing the pesto with regular cream cheese and swapping to a taro bagel. There are also sweet options like yogurt and papaya and pastries that are already friendly for this diet to begin with. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside though it can get crowded at peak hours. The outdoors is nice with more of a garden feel whereas the inside can be great when its too warm/windy/sprinkling. Prices are fair for the portion and quality. Parking is in a lot but can get crowded. Really recommend this spot overall and appreciate just how accommodating they were. read more

Idk about but the right way to eat a loco moco is with over easy eggs to give a that meat even more moisture. The salad that comes with it gives it a nice fresh touch. The portion is pretty huge, too, so I like saving half for another meal. The manager was super sweet. Idk how this happened but we were just tasting bottles at the wine bar and a few bottles ended up drying out so she assisted us so patiently. Lol. My aunt loved the wine bar as she loves wine. We love that you're able to taste it and then serve yourself a full or half serving. The ambiance is super chill. It has a nice local island vibe.
