Great waitresses! Cool inside if you like photography and a cool diner feel. Big juicy DELICIOUS Munster and bacon burger. Big flaky juicy fish fry with s nice light crispy batter. Perfectly cooked fries cooked in obviously clean fresh oil. I left my card there because I've been in lalaland this week. They had it safely stored in the register for me! So nice :) Great experience!

This hands down is the best breakfast diner in WNY. Great customer service. They remember your order without even writing it down.

I'll be back. Breakfast at the Coffee Cup is a good meal with a pleasant style and friendly service. Located next door to Lena's Pizza, my child hood favorite pizza place on East Second Street. Driving up to the Coffee Cup there is ample parking on the street or on the Lena's Pizza side of the building. If this place were a snake I'd been bitten walking by here unknowing of it's existence when strolling into the next door pizza place. Getting pizza was the only thing that brought me to this building over the years. This is my second time to the Coffee Cup. On this visit we walk through the shiny screen door into an active den of occupants. We pick a table full of dirty dishes that appear as left-over bones from a recent lion feeding. The lion's had just arisen to pay their bill at the front counter. It's about 11AM on a Sunday and much later than my normal sunrise breakfast time. We sit down and get a smile and acknowledgement from the host. He has a noticeable resemblance to Paul Tuetul Sr. from Orange County Choppers but with a smaller stature. Waiting, we look around at the walls of various photos framed with white boarders. There are hundreds of photos apparently taken by a single artist. It adds a wonderful and curious style to the place. We receive the menus and he comes back a few minutes later to clean up the 'bones.' The menu has the usual diner options (eggs, bacon, omelets, corned-beef hash, pancakes, home fries) and we settle in on splitting a veggie omelet without cheese and without tomatoes. Our omelet is ordered with eggs, onions, peppers, and spinach with a side of home fries and dry rye toast. I order coffee and my wife orders a water. We both say 'holy cow' when the water is served in a large milkshake size glass with no ice, as ordered. The coffee is a medium blend and has a very slight bitter taste. Nothing good or bad about it, just a decent cup of coffee. I add a smidge more cream and spenda to help it out. We appear to have good cell phone service here and I forget to check if they have wifi. The chitter chatter of the patrons is pleasant and not too loud in the small space. It is about 90% occupied. Our order arrives in under ten minutes. We're pleasantly surprised that the cook split everything onto two plates! We each received our own plate with one piece of toast, half the omelet, and half of the home fries. I rate them a 5 out of 5 for meal splitting. The omelet is slightly oily. It is a thin omelet with an ample amount of spinach, onions, and peppers. This isn't one of those huge milk whipped omelets, but still, half is plenty. The rye toast is perfectly toasted. The home fries I give a 3 out of 5. They appear to be the boiled then fried type. They have a decent taste to them but aren't the style I generally go for. I don't leave any on my plate though. Coffee re-fills are plenty and our bill is left on the table soon after. They accept credit card and I add 20% tip for the friendly service. You might experience a slight delay in service when first arriving but they acknowledge you and do their best to bring drinks and take your order in the small space. Over all I like the Coffee Cup. It is fun to look at the photos, the service is friendly, and the food is good. I'll be back.

Excellent little diner and one of the few open until 2--PM. (Most places close earlier here.) The staff here is great and the plates are an incredible value, size for price. On my first visit, I had the Gravy Train, a warm biscuit piled high with sausage gravy, home fries, bacon pieces, and two eggs done your style of choice. Heads up--it also contained shredded cheddar, just in case you don't want that. It was delicious and almost too much for me to eat. I had been longing for a place that combined biscuits and gray with homefries and eggs! On my second visit I had the potato pancakes served with both sour cream AND applesauce. Again, a great value--I took some home. They have a vast menu including lunch items as well.

This place is a gem. I had awesome Burgers there. Really good omelettes. Tuna melt is almost as good as my moms. Pumpkin pancakes were the best. I like all the pictures on the walls. The prices are reasonable. I like the orange accent wall. Waitresses are super nice. My complaint is that sometimes the home fries are not very crispy. It only happened once but once I got cold toast. The Waitresses would have fix it if I told them I just didn't feel like it it was still good. Every time I'm there I eat everything on my plate.

This was the Chicken, Bacon, Bleu omelette. Very random but VERY good! Accompanied by sour dough toast and homefries.

Long standing breakfast and lunch spot with great food! It is in the city but a short drive out of downtown. If you're looking for something with hometown charm, this is the place for you. They literally have the hottest coffee in the city (not an exaggeration, you'll see) and some creative menu options!

One pancake, one egg, one meat and hash browns. Delicious!!!

    Is there parking?

Yes, a small side parking lot that fits maybe 10 cars as well as street parking.

I was…read moreunimpressed with the quality, quantity, and price of the chicken finger dinner the last time I was there. It was just a couple frozen Tyson style chicken fingers cooked up with a hand full of fries. That belongs on a kid's menu not for adults. My friend's burger was smaller and so was his fry portion too. Eggs are still on the runny side most of the time because they're rushing on the griddle again. I've had to send raw eggs back to finish cooking. I'm sorry, but in a sunny side up the whites shouldn't be wet still and moving like slime. They're supposed to be solid. There shouldn't be a puddle of orange goo under scrambled eggs this means they aren't cooked enough. Fries, ranch, and subs are still great.

When we walked in around 10:00am, the place was packed. Only one two-top left which we promptly grabbed. The menu for breakfast is pretty standard fare. Eggs, meats, pancakes, toast, etc. I ordered the corned beef hash cheese omelet. It was quite good. My wife ordered one pancake, one egg and bacon. Also tasty. We both had coffee. The food was good, the decor is right out of home town memorabilia. Nothing fancy about the place. Just good food done well. I should mention that it is "cash only". No credit cards. But the prices are very reasonable, so not to worry. Our total bill came to $26! I gave the cashier, which is where you pay, $30 and told her the change was for the tip. She seemed happy with that. Lots of locals and I think we were probably the only out-of-towners. Fun place!
