    Staff are seriously the greatest. Even do free training and calibration of your machine (ours is far right) for you when it arrives!

    Really, really love these guys. From start to finish, have been knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and just really give a sh*t. Owner, Aaron, an Australian is absolutely awesome and the staff are incredible as well. It's like something is in their coffee. Or, it's a good sign? They work out of their own massive warehouse which is just the coolest. So many cool looking machines. We had a bad experience with a Rocket from Seattle Coffee Gear and gave these guys a call on a whim and just never looked back. Got a beautiful AV GS3 and love the hell out of it. You're probably wondering about prices. Got a good 5-10% off manufacturer price on our machine, so how's that? Just give them a call -- you won't regret it. Feel free to hit me up with any questions about our experience, etc. I have not been compensated (okay, besides a few great coffees) in any way for this review.

    Finally found a place that sells and educates! I didn't realize they sell home machines until I called. Aaron was awesome! He shared all his knowledge and sent us home with an incredible machine and grinder. Plan on going back next week to learn from the baristas! Can't wait

    This store looks amazing and their staff seems to be really knowledgeable at first. We purchased a refurbished machine about a year ago from this company. It had issues right from the beginning. Nothing major but things that should have definitely been gone over before selling it to anyone. My issues are not with the machine, things break I get it. But it took 6 months to get a tech out for service. I called and texted the number they gave me and then the owner proceeded to blame me for the switch going out as I am apparently never supposed to turn the machine off even for service work. He was 100% unprofessional and I should have walked away then but they promised to help and well..... they didn't. After the service tech left apparently he wrote down on his report the exact opposite of what he told us in person. And there were more issues I could have solved if I had been given the correct information. Basically we are two hours from LA and apparently they just don't want to make the drive even though they charge us nearly $200 for the trip. (A service they said they provided when we purchased the machine) Oh I forgot to mention, the number I was texting was the "wrong number" and I should have been calling a different number. Well I was calling and texting the number they gave me as a contact number for the service department. But once again, I was blamed for this error. Our machine broke down on Friday again, they said it was due to scaling and build up, all guesswork over the phone, but that wasn't the problem. The new tech I have is working on the issue and it was a part that (once again) should have been replaced when refurbished. We love the machine, now that we have a better technician especially. But the service from this company is where they earned the 1 star review. Rude owner/manager, condescending rapport, blaming the customer when there were faulty parts and not returning calls or texts to the number they said to use as a contact point. Oh and one very important thing I almost left off. They have never once even acknowledged that anything was wrong with this machine. Never. Blamed me for everything even though it didn't even work when I plugged it it. I had to get a tech on the phone to trouble shoot. Another electrical issue left unresolved. They care more about getting your money rather than taking care of a customer who spent thousands. Find another company, I'm not the only one with these complaints. Ask around and you'll find they have a terrible reputation, I should have asked around more. That was my biggest mistake.

    Had a real quick trip here recently, and I'd be less and honest if I didn't say I was a bit bummed…read more I actually found what I came here for (I needed some British double heavy cream) for a particular dish, though I couldn't help but reminisce when this location used to be in Culver city. There are a number of reasons why the Culver City location was so much better, but perhaps the main drawback at this LA location is the fact that the former had a real sense of ambiance, and uniqueness, particularly when it came to its cozy little cafe section. Now the "cafe" is pretty much just a space within a space. Another real draw to the Culver City location was the fact that they actually had a separate section where "Guest Chefs" could come in and teach entire classes via cooking classes that sometimes you have to sign up for in advance, and other times you could just kind of walk in on it. That was dope! And while the staff was friendly enough, and again ( don't get me wrong it's still a place that I will be back to to purchase much needed product), it's just an unfortunate reality that sometimes no....you can't duplicate the past.
