Latte was good. Carrot Zucchini cake was garbage. It was so dry it fell apart when trying to eat it with a fork, they need to add cream cheese or do something else to bind it together and make it moist. To Owner/Manager: I think this review deserves a free latte. read more

I picked up 2 drinks for my husband and I. The drive-through was very slow, (over 10 mintues) and it was just myself and 1 person. We got 2 different drinks but both made our stomachs hurt and feel bad for the rest of the day. Not worth the wait. read more

I can't help but grow muscles with this drink. My taste buds scream with excitement in every sip, yes sip! Small & quaint coffee shop! Indoor seating for about 24. If you have a larger party finding a spot might be an issue. There is a small outdoor patio with limited seating available. I ordered a frozen mocha which was pretty good. Substantially better than a Frappuccino from Starbucks! The ice was crushed nicely & although there were no espresso shots it was prepared with cold brew. Pleasantly happy with the results. We also ordered a hot latte and that was also a thumbs up. I would have gladly given this coffee house 5 stars ... until my visit and meal were ruined. I hope the owner reads this and takes the time to train his/her team. Because this was a great experience until someone ruined the whole experience. 1 star for being warmly welcomed and great customer service. Another star for great coffee and quiche. Negative 3 stars for the loud, unprofessional, 20+ minute long tirade where one employee went off to another employee about a third employee, who was not there. F bombs, loud! Totally obnoxious rant. Everyone else in the shop heard it and we all just kinda looked at each other like "really?" I came here to enjoy coffee and a quick meal. Did NOT need or want to hear that nonsense. At 8:40 am on a Monday, i guess the early crowd had gone to work; I had the place to myself and it was back to spic and span. Nice, quiet, pretty fast service for my breakfast bacon burrito. This is my very favorite coffee shop in Chico! I've been two times and ordered the Cinnabon latte both times which is honey, brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon... and it it amazing. My boyfriend ordered the wild monkey which is peanut butter, banana, protein, and 2 shots of espresso. Also super good. We came back the next day for breakfast and ordered the breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño bagel... I mean, everything I've had here has been on point. I literally wish i could give no stars. i ordered two bagels with cream cheese and two coffees for me and my co worker through doordash and when i got the order the cream cheese has literal mold in it (picture shown) and along with that our coffee tasted like water. i called coffee ranch and explained to them nicely that i was kind of frustrated and that i have proof there was mold and the lady said there was "nothing we could do." she said it "was probably chives" and i explained that i definitely knew it was not. When I rate coffee shops, more than anything, I rate the quality of the drink itself. To me, that's the most important thing. So I walk into coffee ranch and am immediately taken with the decor. Its simple, clean and really just a pleasant environment. I stroll up to the counter and notice they have a couple of gluten free choices. I hadn't eaten breakfast so I order something. I then order my latte. I am blessed with a beautiful looking late. That's the first bonus check. I take a moment to smell the coffee and it is very deep and fragrant. Then, I take that very first (and most important) sip. Oh folks, I was so very happy. The espresso was so smooth, deep and delicious. The shot was pulled excellently and the quality of the espresso was really good. Then, the first bite of the gluten free pastry. Oh man, equally as good. The two together, awesome. The price for this wonderful experience was good. The customer service was great. Lots of locals came in while I chilled there. It was my first visit to this delicious new-ish coffee shop here in Chico and I was quite pleased! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and very patient with the indecisive(me). They offer a variety of delicious coffee, smoothies packed with nutrishop protein, or espresso shots to get you through your day! If you're hungry they have delicious apple pie parfait, crust less quiche(for the gluten free), crusted quiche, Gordo burritos (though I think I like beatnik burritos a bit better these are delicious too), and assorted items. They also have fruit smoothies for the kids and non caffeinated options. I ended up with an iced coffee (they gave us a sample of the hot coffee when we came in) a smoothie, and a crust less quiche. I also had a bit of a Gordo burrito my cousin ordered. The atmosphere is relaxing and they even have outdoor seating complete with "doggy parking". On the weekends they offer paleo donuts!
